SPACEWEATHER.COM NEWS: May 13, 2024

Sunspot AR3664 produced a final blow as it left the Earth-facing side of the Sun. The Sun completes its rotation in 27 days. AR3664 will take half that time to return to Earth’s view on the other side. But, let’s not forget AR3663, the first beometh sunspot that started the latest major activity. AR3663 will be the first to make a reappearance in the lead by a few days.

It’s possible for AR3663 to share it’s Light in about 10 Days, in synchronicity with the Wesak Celebration and the Full Flower Moon. May 23, 2024 is 2 Monkey/CHUEN, the Light of the Creator at the top of the 9th uinal pyramid of the Tzolk’in calendar.

A PARTING SHOT FROM AR3664: This morning, May 13th, giant sunspot AR3664 issued a parting shot from the edge of the Earth strike zone. An M6-class flare at 0944 UT hurled an impressive CME into space:

Unlike most of the sunspot’s previous CMEs, this one is not going to hit Earth with bullseye precision. Instead, it is expected to deliver a glancing blow on May 15th or 16th. The impact could spark minor (G1) to moderate (G2) geomagnetic storms.

THE BIG STORM IS OVER: NOAA forecasters say that the storm is really over now. There’s no chance of additional G5 activity this week because all the big CMEs have already come and gone. However, relatively minor G1 or G2-class storms are possible on May 14th in response to a glancing blow from this off-target CME.

Kyle Nulla Cognomen sends this picture from Las Vegas, Nevada. “What a gorgeous view of the desert sky illuminated by aurora,” he says. “I could see the reds and greens with my naked eye!”

Our photo gallery is filled with unusual images like this one–auroras in strange places, illuminating cacti, palm trees, pyramids, and Caribbean beaches. There’s no way to pick a favorite. Or is there?

5 Crocodile/IMIX (Cherokee, Turtle/DAK’SI) –  Day 5 of 13 Days in the 1 Earth/CABAN trecena

Descriptions by Ian Xel Lungold (12 Sun/AHAU), wisdom preserved on MayanMajix.com

Galactic Tone 5: Empowerment. At the center of the cube we find Five. Five is an intelligent, organizing force which manages communications and materials, knowledge and application. Fives are natural net workers who gather what is needed. These persons can probe directly to the core of any situation making them excellent investigators.

Crocodile/IMIX: Crocodile receives messages of primal creative force; simply the beginning of all things. Crocodiles who follow their hearts are seen as genius. There is no order to the primal messages, so Crocodile persons should direct their energies toward practical and cooperative efforts to bring productive results. Crocodiles have a strong nurturing energy and will work hard to provide security to family and friends. Being extremely territorial, Crocodiles must watch not to be over protective or too dominating. While in these states, Crocodiles are insecure, indecisive and emotionally volatile.

A GOOD DAY TO: Open to new beginnings.

Cherokee Turtle/ DAK’SI  I’SB: Turtle Island; direction East. The Turtle Constellation Orion, one of three stars in the Cosmic Egg, to the Maya, the Cosmic Hearth. Turtle is the Energy of Creative force at the one-on-one, personal level; dawn, awakening, birth.

[Text in italics was the primary source of inspiration for my journal. These are the sources that started my journey and they are the reference for interpretation each day. By providing the original text, I hope to offer a way to see what inspired my thoughts and by including all the aspects – allow for something more to inspire you. Mayan descriptions are those written by Ian Lungold. Cherokee descriptions came from multiple sources.
