Greetings Beloved Kin,

13 Reed/BEN was the Guardian of the 1st trecena and 1st uinal and the Alpha Intention of the Tzolk’in round (11:11:11). (The last Destiny Kin in each cycle of Light is the Prayer that’s Answered on the Day of Ascension.)

The 13th Tone, Position 13, the Haab Year 13 Earth/CABAN, in the Time of the 13th baktun marks the Day with the symbol 13:13:13:13. 13 represents the Power of theurgy, the Creator’s Highest Offering to call upon Divine Agency to Intervene in Human affairs through our rituals and prayers. A “ritual” of prayer can be lighting a candle.

Rituals and Sacred Ceremonies are prayers of Sound and Movement that create a Real experience in the realm of  physicality. Every prayer is a Call to the Highest One that creates a Vibration. The more noise we make for a Divine Purpose, the louder our prayers will be. The stronger the signal, the more we are drawn into  the Creator’s “song of the Uni-Verse.” The Creator’s Vibration of Love is the Exponential Power of Divine Trinity. In spite of themselves, lower vibrations are drawn into sympathy with the Purest Tone of Love. Like a jingle you can’t get out of your head, enemies will find themselves “humming the tune.”

Reed/BEN is the Guiding Light for Home, a Light to guide our way to the Creator’s Highest End. BEN is the Humbling energy that brings us to our knees when we become the leader of a family. The Love of a newborn child that grabs our heart at the first sight, bears the weight of an Awesome Responsibility. We have a Divine Reason to walk the walk that we’ve never felt before. We Ascend from a challenge we can never fulfill perfectly due to our Human limitations.

Children witness the Truth of everything without a filter. They present the challenge to stand in Integrity. Human failure is the Gift that brings us to our knees. (It usually happens when children reach the age of 13, and they ascend to their own Dream for life.) We fall from the pedestal of being “human gods” to everything they don’t want to be. The Elders say the story is Biblical. We think they will love us forever. The Bible shares far more stories of “family feuds” than unshakeable “family ties.” The only family ties I can remember are the “boring” accounts of who begat who, that leads to the birth of Saviors and Kings of Spirit. The lineage of the “Christ Spirit” is the Only family that survives to eternity.

 

Because we want the children to be happy, we want to teach them everything we learned the hard way. We should be teaching them that the only way to know the Truth IS the hard way. We think we want change, until change requires us to do something we’re afraid to do.

BEN comes with the Divine Advice to share the Truth like “a garden hose” instead of the “steel pipe.” We can’t beat our Truth into someone else’s head. The method is a contradiction of the most important Truth of Answered Prayers. When we REALLY believe in Answered Prayers, the answer is simple. We can hold Faith in our own prayers for the ones we Love.

We’ll never rise above our Human limitations to become the “example of perfection.” If we pretend we’re perfect, our children will know it’s not the Truth. They watched us like a hawk and took note of everything that raised a question that was contrary to the Truth. It’s a question they can’t forget when they reach 13. It’s part of the transformation to “believe WE can” rise above our parents’ limitations.

Reed/BEN raises our Consciousness to the Dream of belonging, to be good enough to hold our own seat at the table. We were sages at birth. Without any filters we began with a talent for unbiased objective reasoning. “Kid’s say the darnedest things.” They need to be silenced early for the Truth they could reveal from their front-row seat witness to our failures. Facing our failures is our only hope to change them.

The Intention from the beginning was to lead us to a Sanctuary where we can share ALL our secrets with the Only One who will always understand.  The Creator sees what the children can’t see, the condition of our heart. When we pray for a Divine Union the Intention will bring us to our knees. Suffering is the only way. God has to ascend to the Highest Position in our Life. The Miracle happens when God becomes our Only Hope.

When we look for the Truth from the Creator’s stories, the cost of Salvation is a Sacrifice of Biblical proportions. We have to give up everything in the world for the Creator to be our Number One.

A Divine Creator intended us to be a Hero of Faith. There are no hero stories (that sell) of the one who proclaims they were blessed in the beginning, and by fate they were blessed with all the advantages for success, and “just look at how perfect we are now.” Blessings can skew our discernment when we take the credit. Blessings become a curse when we claim “we earned our blessings” and those who go without deserved to fail.

It’s safer to be poor until we hold the Wisdom to manage the Power that comes with worldly success. Those that have everything bear the suffering of always needing something more. It’s easy to become a “hungry ghost” – a mere shadow of our former self.

When we know a place where we belong, loved exactly as we are, we hold the Divine Reason to grow, to Give Back and Pay Forward the Offering of Love that’s far beyond the “love” we expected to find in the world.

BEN is a Day to Bless the home.  “Home” is where the Heart feels free to be everything we are. “Home” is always an open door and a seat at the “grown up” table. The BEN tradition that’s carried on by the Maya is Time to check in on the neighbors. Family Love is meant to be the easiest to share. It’s as easy as a call to ask, “How are you?” Or a 15 minute drop-by to help carry out the trash. We don’t have to “entertain” family to be a blessing. It’s enough to know “someone is there” for us. When we are there for someone else, we create a door that will always be open to us and people who are happy when we show up unexpectedly to lend a Hand.

We have the right to close the door to anyone who doesn’t want us to belong. A youtube video shared 3 reasons to bar entry: 1) those who are dishonest, 2) those who mock your faith, and 3) those who can’t celebrate your accomplishment or encourage you through your challenges. Home is our Sanctuary. We were given a Divine Place that, by our choice, we define the rules that are necessary for our own peace of mind. We also have the right to close the door when we need Time to work on our self.

Without Wisdom, we share too much too soon. We display all the signs of a “perfect mark” for someone who intends to take advantage. That’s why Elder fraud has grown to epic proportions. Better yet, target a Senior that lives alone without a human advocate in their corner.

It’s a lonely world. We’re all alone with our Dreams and the Truth of our own failures we cover up so no one will see. In the Creator’s “home” of Unconditional Love, we can share everything. There are no deal-breakers and no reason why we deserve to fail. It’s hard to accept that there’s no place in the world that we belong. Suffering is the blessing that finally brings us to our knees.

It’s Time for a Blessing of Truth that changes our perspective of “good” and “bad” experiences. We’re the lucky ones if we were the first to fail. We were on the Road to our Divine Destiny when we were positioned to persevere and overcome our limitations. When all our Love is centered on the Highest One the Highest End is guaranteed. A “free ride” offers a life of one boring blessing after another. Hard work leads to peace and satisfaction, even when we  screw up and have to start all over again. God’s end will always justify the investment of our heart in the Dream for tomorrow. The more “impossible” the Dream may appear to be, the Greater the Blessing that required Faith and Hard Work to reach the end. “Impossible odds” is the Road to a Miracle.

We were given the choice to claim a Divine Family. The Scion deserves a family that’s waited for years, hoping we’d stop by and never leave. We can never wear out our welcome when we’re there to give back and pay forward.

This is a good day to bless your home and walk your land to consecrate the God-given place where a Divine Family will be gathered by a Hand of God. Bless all your “comforts of home.” Everything Good was given by God. A can-opener may be among our greatest everyday blessings. 🙂

A BIRTHDAY WISH FOR A DIVINE FAMILY MEMBER…

Today is Minisa’s natal birthday. She is a chosen sister that invited me to belong to a Divine Family. We met “by chance” in the Summer of 2002. She invited me to Dance the Sacred Sun/Moon Dance that changed my life, September 20, 2002 at the Fall Equinox. I had just moved back to be close to my family, and she was the one who welcomed me in with open arms.

Minisa (men ‘eesa) holds the Destiny Kin 222, 1 Wind/IK. She spoke the Truth and taught me to think for myself. My earliest memories of the Medicine Wheel circle was the standard Elders’ catch phrase, “The Answer is in the Question.” That was the stock answer I resisted when I came to her to validate my experiences of Spirit. In the beginning I thought, why can’t the Elders just answer the question?

It took years to understand it as an affirmation that my answer will always be the best discernment for me. Your truth is more important than the advice you receive in the world. She shared the Wisdom to figure it out and claim my own Truth.

That first Dance was marked by the Fall Equinox as a Divine Harvest in the making. September 20, 2002 “just happened to be” 3 Eagle/MEN – my Eagle Day sign on the 1st Day of Movement, Tone 3.  She was the Dance Chief who told us all that we were the “new mystics, the Creator’s beloved ones.” Blessings and Names that associate us with our Dreams are Divine Gifts for becoming. She shared the opportunity to attend my first formal teaching on the Mayan calendars. Blessings upon blessings has been her offering, but the most important was Belonging to a Divine Family. When I write, “the Elders said,” the Words were likely shared by Minisa. Destiny Kin 222, is the symbol of the Power to Create, and Wind/IK shares the Words that hold their weight as the Truth. 2024 marks 22 years of a Right Relationship of Love.

Galactic Tone 13: Ascension; Thirteen assists us to go to the next higher step, propels us to try something new or to try again. Thirteen energy takes us over the next mountain just to see what is there. Thirteen carries the last success to the newest effort. Thirteen is a number associated with the Ascended Masters, creation, expansion, and manifestation.

Reed/BEN: Reed persons are the spiritual essence, protectors and guiding light for family and home. They are competent speakers who will take up a cause. Very tough and analytical, Reeds endeavor to bring peace, harmony and order to all o their relations. Reeds are blessed with great skill at negotiations and consoling which are very often put to the test. Although Reeds need a lot of appreciation, may have marriage or business problems because of inflexible views and high expectations, which erode affinity. The lesson for Reed is to be like a garden hose, not a steel pipe.

Cherokee, Reed/I’HYA: Symbol-Reed is the Earth, reflection of the Star Chaga of Pollux. Reed made up the Magician Twins who led the journey to bring back to life the daughter of the Sun. The Casket is Gemini.  Energy for Intellectual minds, creation, re-creation, new directions, breaking the ties that bind.  A trailblazer and leader. From the East, direction of success and happiness, no matter what route is taken, always ending up in the Light.
