Really fast. According to data from NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, the maximum orbital speed of Comet A3 is a whopping 150,000 miles per hour. (Google AI)

COMET TSUCHINSHAN-ATLAS AND THE NORTHERN LIGHTS: Twilight, moonlight, Northern Lights and a comet. Wioleta Gorecka saw them all last night in Hvalfjörður, Iceland:

“The season for Northern Lights has begun here in Iceland, so it was only a matter of time before I caught auroras alongside Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS,” says Gorecka. “I really like to see how beautiful they look side by side.”

Update: Naked-eye observations of the comet aren’t as easy as they were a few nights ago. This is caused by two factors: Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS is starting to dim as it moves further from Earth, and, on top of that, it has to compete with full Moonlight. Nevertheless, observers say the comet is still an easy target for binoculars and smartphones. Point your phone toward the west after sunset and take a 10 second exposure in Night Mode. You might be surprised at what you catch.

ACTIVITY IN THE CORE OF COMET TSUCHINSHAN-ATLAS: Now that Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS is climbing higher in the evening sky, astronomers are taking a closer look at its core. There’s a lot happening in there. Maximilian Teodorescu sends this close-up from Calugareni, Romania:

“Some very nice details resulted from my Oct. 16th imaging session, including jets around the nucleus of Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS,” says Teodorescu. “To reveal these structures I processed and stacked 350 images using the Larson-Sekanina algorithm.”

Nick James of the Bristish Astronomical Association has looked at Teodorescu’s images and says “they look realistic. The parabolic hoods, in particular, are characteristic of active comets. I have seen similar structures in my own images of the comet on Oct. 14th.”

With plumes of dust and gas actively flowing into the comet’s atmosphere, it should remain a good target for astrophotographers for many nights to come even as the comet recedes from Earth. Stay tuned!

The Creator’s Intention for Time is to Look to See. The Ascension of the Reed/BEN trecena, 13 Serpent/CHICCHAN, raises “Seeing is believing” to “Feeling is Knowing.”
The Author of Creation created a Time for everything. Consider the odds of seeing Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS as an 80,000-year event. We’d have to know the state of Human’s Consciousness 80,000 years ago. This Time we have the means and the ways to see what could have easily pass unnoticed for hunter-gathers. The odds depend on our unknown Ancient History. One in a million odds has been defined by Human as the odds of a Miracle.

8 Sun/AHAU’s Highest Revelation of Light for Human’s upward climb of Consciousness completes the 3 uinal of Movement in Divine Trinity with the One Above. There was a Time ordered to See and Hear the Truth. Today’s Mayan date is 6 Flint, the Force of Momentum and a Revelation of Unexpected Truth we already knew. A Truth we imagined but didn’t claim was True comes to Light.

Today is also the Full “Hunters Moon” Supermoon. The final harvest before Winter is a “blood sacrifice.”

Flint/ETZNAB: Mirror of reality. As a struck flint, these persons are the divine sparks of intelligence. Flint’s innate abilities are utilized to discriminate emotions from fact. Flint persons stand tireless to protect, defend, or cure others by personal sacrifice. By courageously wielding the sword of truth, falsehoods are cut away. Flints, it was said, can receive information on inter-personal troubles or evil plots of others by reflecting in an obsidian mirror. Their valiant service as warriors of the truth must be impeccable or they will experience sufferings of accidents, misunderstandings and gossip.

A GOOD DAY TO: Spend time in reflection and introspection.

Cherokee, Flint/DAWI’SGALA: Mirror, flint.  Ability to discern deception and mirror it back to the other.  A catalyst for change through this ability.  When used properly, harmonic resonance can be the result.  If you take on another’s issues through the mirror, the result will be anger, grief and misunderstanding of purpose.  All issues will surface and be mirrored in this earth walk.  Energy comparable for teaching, leader, philosopher, writer, observing the mass consciousness evolution in some manner.

The Answer to the Truth lies in our own reflection in the Mirror. Who are we now?
