Storms Above and Below
SPACEWEATHER.COM NEWS: 12/07/2024
MAGNETIC FROTH ON THE SUN: Solar Max has arrived, but only half the sun is fully partcipating. For the past 6 months, most flares and sunspots have been located below the sun’s equator. A new image from Eliot Herman of Tuscon, Arizona, adds one more item to the list:
Magnetic froth. It is concentrated in a bright turbulent band stretching across the sun’s southern hemisphere.
To take this picture on Dec. 5th, Herman used a Lunt solar telescope with a filter tuned to the blue glow of calcium ions in the sun’s atmosphere. Calcium K filters are excellent detectors of magnetic froth–the bright and bubbly sea of magnetism that heralds the emergence of many sunspot groups. Clearly, the sun’s southern hemisphere is seething with potential for sunspot genesis.
Meanwhile, the north has barely any froth at all. Catch up, North! Until it does, half of Solar Max is yet to come. Stay tuned.
DIAMOND DUST SUN HALOS: The hum, chug and boom of snowmaking machines means one thing. Ski season has arrived? Yes, but also, look toward the sun! Steven Poole’s Dec. 4th photo from the Jackson Hole Ski Area in Wyoming shows why:

Halos, Taken by Steven Poole on December 4, 2024 @ Teton Village, Wyoming (Source: Spaceweather Realtime Image Gallery)
“The sun halos this morning were spectacular,” says Poole.
Diamond dust sun halos, to be precise. Ordinary sun halos are caused by ice crystals forming naturally in high cirrus clouds. Snowmaking machines create a special type of crystal called “diamond dust.” These man-made crystals tend to be more optically perfect than natural crystals in clouds, producing extra-sharp halos of exquisite complexity.
The display Poole witnessed is actually a combination of at least 6 different halos: a 22-degree halo, an upper tangent arc, a parhelic circle, a 46-degree halo, a circumzenithal arc, and a couple of sundogs hidden behind the trees.
TODAY IS JUPITER’S CLOSEST APPROACH: Today, Dec. 6th, Jupiter is making its closest approach to Earth for 2024-2025. Extra-big and extra-bright, the giant planet rises in the east at sunset and soars overhead at midnight, outshining every star in the night sky. Look for it between the horns of Taurus the Bull: sky map.

Mayan Time and Signs Above and Below
Between 4 Star/LAMAT and 5 Offering/MULUC (12/6 and 12/7) are Signs of a Savior. LAMAT is the Day of the Scion and MULUC is the Day of the Offering of the Christ Spirit. Storms are brewing on Earth as it is in Heaven. In the cycle of the Full Cold Moon, generations faced the fates of Life or Death through the darkness of Winter. But at the same time, the Sun in its Maximum cycle is closest to the Earth during the Perihelion. The Serpent/CHICCHAN trecena is a cycle of Light of Divine Inspiration that Quickens our Spirit to prove that God is Near by a Feeling of Truth that grabs our Heart and “bestirs the Blood to Speak.” The Scion is the Creator’s offering, the Time that follows is the Salvation received by an Offering below (5 MULUC, 12/7/2024) that Gives Back and Pays Forward to be reconciled with God.

THE TRECENA OF SERPENT/CHICCHAN: AWAKENING THE GIFTS OF SPIRIT
My gift for the Tzolk’in round is the “Tzolk’in Field Guide: A Daily Practice for Personal Discernment.” Volume 1 covers the first two seasons of the Tzolk’in round. The “Field Guide” is available to download from a link on the 13-day Trecena Guide Page.
Tracking your thoughts during one 13-day trecena, you will see the synchronicity of Time, and an ascension as the answer to a prayer you hold as an Intention of thought from the beginning.
The Serpent/CHICCHAN trecena is part of Season 2, found in Volume 1.
NOTE: If you see repeating numbers, SacredScribes is a resource to check the meaning of Angel Numbers.

Descriptions by Ian Xel Lungold (12 Sun/AHAU), wisdom preserved on MayanMajix.com
Galactic Tone 4: Stability; the cube is most stable of all forms and establishes volume by definition of height, length, depth and breadth; 4 directions establish orientation. The energy of 4 sets the parameters, which establish the freedoms and barriers needed to create a game, work, or relationship.
Star/LAMAT: Star energy is multiplication of all things to abundance. Star has been associated with the fertility of rabbits for its ability to multiply. As each sun in the sky, Star persons shine equally in all directions. This natural tendency of harmony and balance can become compulsion, motivating Star to be too agreeable and too generous, rejected gifts cause fear and resentment. When a Star believes it has been given too much, they are weakened or may even collapse. In this “Black Hole” state, Stars are prone to verbal jousting and arguing to force their point of view on everyone.
A GOOD DAY TO: ASK for Abundance for all Relations
Cherokee, Rabbit/NOQUI’SEGWA: Symbol-Venus, The Morning Star cycle of 260 days and Evening Star cycle of another 260 days, inspired the 13 numbers, 20 Day sign Sacred Calendar. Rabbit is the Trickster of Cherokee culture, matching the Coyote in other nations. The personification of Light and New Life, Sunrise, the scion (a first-generation descendant) of the Moon-Father of earth children, the Rabbit is fertility, be fruitful and multiply. Represents softness, gentleness and vulnerability. LAMAT– Totem Rabbit. Energies of re-birth, regeneration, ripening, harvest and abundance. This person is overflowing with love energy in all areas of life. Spiritual growth is natural and with ease due to the unconditional love energy that flows.
