SPACEWEATHER: Global Communications Space Race

Megaconstellations: From 6,800 to 82,000 Satellites

Those who control Global Communication systems hold the power to interrupt service as well as surveil. Astronomers are concerned about space junk and light pollution. The “Thousand Sails” satellite reflects considerably more light than the Starlink satellites. Though, Starlink’s current satellite weighs 1,760 lbs (800 kilograms), 3 times more than the previous model. About 50 in orbit are no longer in service. SpaceX vs China Megacontellations will contribute to already existing traffic jams in Earth’s lower orbit.

Thousand Sails and China’s commercial space push
The low Earth orbit megaconstellation was earlier known as the G60 Starlink constellation. SSST announced in February it had raised 6.7 billion yuan ($943 million) for the constellation’s construction. Established in Shanghai’s Songjiang District in 2021, SSST’s project is also supported by the municipal government.

Shanghai has developed its own commercial space action plan, of which Thousand Sails is just one aspect. Shanghai’s goals include fostering new generation medium and large launch vehicles and intelligent terminals. It also intends to strengthen the development of integrated communications, navigation and remote sensing satellite technologies. Shanghai aims to create a space information industry worth more than 200 billion yuan ($28.2 billion) by 2025. Beijing also has its own commercial space action with measurable goals. Several other Chinese outfits are also racing to launch their own megaconstellations—large pools of satellites that work together to deliver broadband internet access. The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has poured significant resources into closing the gap with America’s space-based technologies.

The new administration has proposed the dissolution of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), a national resource of Spaceweather news. NOAA provides realtime monitoring of the skies as well as long-term global weather forecasts and climate studies.

SPACEWEATHER.COM NEWS: 12/20/2024

CHINA’S NEW MEGACONSTELLATION: Elon Musk has competition. Its name is “China.” This past Monday, Dec. 16th, the China Satellite Network Group Co., Ltd., launched the first group of 10 satellites for China’s new Guowang megaconstellation. Less than 24 hours later, Tom Warner watched them fly over Rapid City, South Dakota:

“I saw the Guowang satellite train on the evening of Dec 16th, as it passed north to south over Rapid City,” says Warner. “Some of the satellites flared intensely reflecting sunlight from the sun that had set earlier.”

Guowang is a Chinese initiative to compete with Starlink. Officials say that almost 13,000 satellites are planned for the network, with at least half launching before 2032. The role of Starlink in the Ukraine war caught the attention of Chinese military analysts, and they are determined to control their own satellite network to avoid dependence on foreign powers.

This is actually China’s second megaconstellation of 2024. On Aug. 6th, China launched the first 18 satellites of its new Thousand Sails network, with subsequent launches boosting the total to 54. For comparison, Starlink currently has about 7,000 satellites, so China still has a long way to go.

Scientists have raised many concerns about Starlink including light-pollution of the night sky, a potential traffic jam in low-Earth orbit, metallic contamination of the stratosphere, and even ozone depletion. Guowang and Thousand Sails will only multiply those concerns. It’s a brand new Space Race with many uncharted hazards ahead.

THE SOLSTICE IS THIS WEEKEND: The annual December solstice occurs this Saturday, Dec. 21st, at 4:19 a.m. EST. It marks the beginning of winter in the northern hemisphere amd summer in the southern hemisphere. Wherever you live, Happy Solstice!

Mayan Time

The Flint/ETZNAB trecena is Time for Unexpected Truth that’s been hidden or covered up. The 7th uinal is the peak of a new climb of Consciousness about the Power to Create our own Reality. Tomorrow is 5 Wind/IK, the Power of the Creator’s Spoken Word. A Solar Flare on the scale of the Carrington Event holds the power to knock satellites out of their lower orbits to create wide-spread communication blackouts.  Wind/IK represents the Power of an Act of God. Flint is the Truth that strikes like a thunderbolt from out of the blue.

The majority of the Collective Consciousness of Humanity only need to agree that God is the Highest Power and Authority of the Universe. For those who agree in Divine Trinity, it is so.

My gift for the Tzolk’in round is the “Tzolk’in Field Guide: A Daily Practice for Personal Discernment.” Volume 1 covers the first two seasons of the Tzolk’in round. The “Field Guide” is available to download from a link on the 13-day Trecena Guide Page.

Tracking your thoughts during one 13-day trecena, you will see the synchronicity of Time, and an ascension as the answer to a prayer you hold as an Intention of thought from the beginning.

The Flint/ETZNAB trecena is part of Season 2, found in Volume 1.

4 Crocodile/IMIX (Cherokee Turtle/ DAK’SI I’SB) – Day 4 of 13 in the 1 Flint/ETZNAB cycle of Truth from Above

Descriptions by Ian Xel Lungold (12 Sun/AHAU), wisdom preserved on MayanMajix.com

Galactic Tone 4: Stability; the cube is most stable of all forms and establishes volume by definition of height, length, depth and breadth; 4 directions establish orientation. The energy of 4 sets the parameters, which establish the freedoms and barriers needed to create a game, work, or relationship.

Crocodile/IMIX: Crocodile receives messages of primal creative force; simply the beginning of all things. Crocodiles who follow their hearts are seen as genius. There is no order to the primal messages, so Crocodile persons should direct their energies toward practical and cooperative efforts to bring productive results. Crocodiles have a strong nurturing energy and will work hard to provide security to family and friends. Being extremely territorial, Crocodiles must watch not to be over protective or too dominating. While in these states, Crocodiles are insecure, indecisive and emotionally volatile.

A GOOD DAY TO: Open to new beginnings.

Cherokee Turtle/ DAK’SI   I’SB: Turtle Island; direction East. The Turtle Constellation Orion, one of three stars in the Cosmic Egg, to the Maya, the Cosmic Hearth. Turtle is the Energy of Creative force at the one-on-one, personal level; dawn, awakening, birth.

  1. Oh and Debra, have you seen how dependent the Chinese people are on their smartphones? We watch Matt and Julia on YouTube (they are currently in China studying the language). Every video shows them walking around near their school, going to eat, etc. And EVERY Chinese person is on their phone, paying for food via the phone, etc. I thought people were attached to their phones here?!? Nope! Not as much!
