What’s Special About this Solar Eclipse:

1. Wide visibility across continents
This eclipse will be visible across North America, Europe, Africa, and Russia. Many people in these regions will have the opportunity to witness the event, making it one of the more accessible solar eclipses in recent years. For instance, the next partial solar eclipse on September 21, 2025, will only be visible in New Zealand and Antarctica.

2. Good timing for Europe and Africa
The partial solar eclipse will be visible during the morning in much of Europe and northwestern Africa, making it easy for casual observers to witness it.

3. A unique sunrise eclipse in the U.S. and Canada
While the maximum eclipse won’t be visible in the United States, early risers in the northeastern U.S. and eastern Canada will experience a partial solar eclipse at sunrise. This is a rare sight where the Sun rises already partially eclipsed, creating a striking visual effect on the horizon.
