Ellerman Bombs: Tiny Explosions, on the Scale of 100,000 WWII atomic bombs.

BOMBS ARE GOING OFF IN THIS SUNSPOT: With two dark cores wider than Earth, growing sunspot 4048 has become a tempting target for astrophotographers. Philippe Tosi of Nîmes, France, photographed the active region this morning and found it crackling with bomb-blasts:
These are Ellerman bombs–magnetic explosions about one-millionth as powerful as true solar flares. A handful are circled above for reference. They are named after physicist Ferdinand Ellerman who studied the tiny blasts in the early 20th century. Note that “tiny” is relative. A single Ellerman bomb releases about 1026 ergs of energy–equal to about 100,000 World War II atomic bombs.
Explosions like these are a sign of magnetic complexity in a sunspot. Opposite polarities bump together, reconnect, and–boom. A full-fledged flare may not be far behind.
SOLAR WIND SPARKS MINOR STORMS: Today, a fast-moving (550+ km/s) stream of solar wind is buffeting Earth’s magnetic field, and this is causing minor G1-class geomagnetic storms. High-latitude sky watchers should be alert for auroras.

Galactic Tone 11: Resolution; 11 assists every new thing to find its place in the universe in the process of ‘fitting in.’ some modifications must occur. Eleven is the energy of dynamic actions facilitating change, simplification and improvement.
Road/EB: The bearer of time and conductor of destiny; also known as Human; these persons open the road and guide to the future groups, communities and individuals alike. Likable, obedient, dedicated hard workers and organizers, Road persons are fortunate in business and travel. Many become care takers of the poor, sick, or old people, where they may make personal sacrifices. Road is sometimes referred to as the sign of grass, which is the most bountiful of all life forms, but is also the most humble. Road persons are affectionate and emphatic; they are easily hurt but slow to anger. Holding in of negative emotions and unexpressed resentment can lead to illness, a poisoned opinion of others and a false bravado for this sun sign.
