SPACEWEATHER: “By far, the Biggest Sunspot of 2025”

Sunspot 4079, the “second coming” of Sunspot 4055

Solar Wind Storm in Progress, and About 100 Ellerman Bombs Surrounding Sunspot 4079, Going Off At Once

SPACEWEATHER.COM NEWS: 05/03/2025

A VERY BIG SUNSPOT: How big is it? Sunspot 4079 is, by far, the biggest sunspot of 2025. It stretches 140,000 km across the solar disk and covers an area equal to 50% of Carrington’s sunspot in 1859. Amateur astronomer Eduardo Schaberger Poupeau of Rafaela, Argentina, peered into the sunspot’s dark heart on May 2nd, and this is what he saw:

The two jet-black cores are each large anough to swallow Earth. They are bristling with hair-like solar fibrils as much as 20 thousand km long. Fibrils are, essentially, magnetic tubes that guide hot plasma in and out of the sunspot. When they start to wave back and forth, it means the sunspot is becoming unstable and about to erupt. Videos of the sunspot show dynamic activity within these structures.

Any solar flares this weekend will be geoeffective as the giant sunspot turns toward Earth.

Sunspot 4079 has grown since yesterday’s news, May 2, 2025.

A GIANT RING OF ELLERMAN BOMBS: French amateur astronomer Philippe Tosi took a look and found a giant ring of Ellerman Bombs:

Ellerman bombs are magnetic explosions about one-millionth as powerful as a true solar flare. They look like pinpoints of light, flickering on and off in the sun’s atmosphere. Named after physicist Ferdinand Ellerman who studied them in the early 20th century, a single Ellerman bomb releases about 1026 ergs of energy–equal to ~100,000 World War II atomic bombs. Tosi’s photo captured about 100 of these bombs going off all at once.

Ellerman bombs are a sign of magnetic complexity in a sunspot. Opposite polarities bump together, reconnect, and–boom! A full-fledged flare may not be far behind.

Bonus: Something else is happening to this large sunspot. Its primary dark cores are slowly revolving like they’re in mutual orbit. This 3-day movie from NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory shows the phenomenon:

We don’t know if they will complete a full revolution. However, these motions may be twisting the magnetic underpinnings of the sunspot group, creating a tension that makes solar flares more likely.

SOLAR WIND STORM IN PROGRESS: Earth has entered a stream of fast-moving solar wind with gusts reaching 700 km/s (1.6 million mph). G1-class geomagnetic storms and high latitude auroras are possible on May 3rd.

Mayan Calendar Time

9 Wisdom/CIB is Time to “see the big picture” that completes the Truth of an experience of Cause and Effect. The 9th Tone in a year of 9 (2025), repeats the symbol of a Creation that is “finished.” Everything Human sees is the Effect that comes after, as the manifestation of the Creator’s thoughts and the Word of Creation. God already knows the end that will be revealed in Time.

The Truth of the whole picture is revealed at our Ascension of the Tzolk’in round on 13 Sun/AHAU. At the end of every “human orbit” Sun/AHAU, the symbol of the Lord of all Creation, offers a Revelation of Light that changes our perspective with Truth on a scale we never saw before. The “second coming” of Sunspot 4055 repeats the symbol of Empowerment (55), the Power of a Hand Above and a Hand Below united in Divine Trinity. (The Sunspot numbers are changed with every rotation across the face of the Sun.) The biggest Sunspot of 2025 is growing as it moves toward the “danger zone” where Sunspot eruptions are directed to Earth by the stream of Wind created by the Sun’s rotation (ie. the Parker Effect).

The Sun has shown a pattern of erupting on the Days of Sun/AHAU. It wouldn’t be a surprise if 4079 erupted with Light aimed at Earth on 13 Sun/AHAU (May 7, 2025, or before, on May 06, 2025, 12 Storm/CAUAC.) The Day before our Ascension, Storm/CAUAC is the Sign of Light (lightning), brighter and hotter than the surface of the Sun, that finds its path to the Heart of those who reach in Faith to the Highest One Above.

Wisdom/CIB is Time to resolve the Truth of the Past before our final reckoning. An Act of Faith can only be carried out BEFORE we realize the Truth at the end. The Higher Octave of Easter repeats the Truth. God offered his Only Son to save us. To receive the blessing of the Holy Spirit we have to be humbled by the Truth that we didn’t earn it. The Blessing of our Salvation is offered to everyone by God’s Grace from the beginning, when Love was the 1st thing on his mind as the only end that lasts forever. Wisdom/CIB is a Day to reflect on the Truth of the Past and the Promise of the future.

Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 NIV

13 Now all has been heard;
here is the conclusion of the matter:
Fear God and keep his commandments,
for this is the duty of all mankind.
14 For God will bring every deed into judgment,
including every hidden thing,
whether it is good or evil.

It’s fun to use the Tzolk’in calculator to look up the dates of milestone events. The synchronicity can feel like your life was written on this calendar thousands of years ago.

Galactic Tone 9: Patience. The energy of Nine is one of the getting a better perspective of the bigger picture. With the energy of Nine, plans or patterns begin to come to completion. Nine requires patience and perseverance that is found in the bigger picture, otherwise there is great suffering from the lack of insight. The completion of cycles of action is all-important to Nine.

Wisdom/CIB: The old ones. Wisdom of the ancients. Wisdom persons are aligned with the ancient memories that wait in the stone of temples and sacred sites all over the world. Wisdom people grow luck like a crop using a balance of prudence and tenacity. The tremendous inner strength of this sign enables silent introspection to discover areas of oneself that contain wisdom more valuable than any trove of archaeological treasure. Wisdom persons are valiant defenders of family and community. They may become hardened to life and sentiment turned cold. In these cases, they need much forgiveness for their uncaring errors. Periodically connecting with nature and or visiting sacred sites will bring great stability to wisdom persons.

A GOOD DAY TO: Sit on a rock.

Cherokee, Owl U’GUKU’ : Symbol is the Owl is Arcturus, the brightest Star in the Constellation Bootes. The Cherokee Bear constellation (Ursa Major) includes the Big Dipper plus four stars in Bootes.  Owl is a hunter, who stands for the wisdom and ability of all great hunters, the cunning of a fox, the tenacity of a bulldog and strength of a bear. Energy for deep thinkers, strong-willed, rigid convictions, bold and authoritative.  Owl is the Mystic Ferryman who guides Earthlings on the return path to the stars holding the torch aloft.
