Incoming: Sunspot 4168 is Growing and Coronal Hole Opening, Adding to Incoming Solar Energy

Sunspot 4168 erupted with an M4.4-Class flare 08/06/2025. It’s still growing as it moves into the earth-directed zone. Meanwhile, a large coronal hole has emerged from the Sun’s western limb. Lights of the universe are putting on a show with events peaking on the Lion’s Gate peak alignment 08/08/2025 – not to mention Venus and Jupiter’s “marriage.” Their conjunction peaks on 08/09/2025, which could make them appear as a “brighter Star” as two shining as one. ESA and Hubble collaborate for an update on Comet 3I/ATLAS… set on course billions of years ago.

THE PERSEID METEOR SHOWER IS UNDERWAY: The Perseids are back. Right now, Earth is entering the dusty wake of Comet 109P/Swift-Tuttle, and meteor activity is picking up. On Aug. 6th, NASA cameras counted 16 Perseid fireballs over the USA, a number that will multiply this weekend as Earth moves deeper into the debris stream.

 

The shower’s peak is expected to occur on the nights of August 11th through 13th, when rates could exceed 30 to 50 meteors per hour under moonlit skies. The best time to look is between midnight and dawn, when Earth’s rotation turns your location directly into the meteor stream.

Even now, before the peak, an observer in a dark location might catch 5 to 10 meteors per hour. To watch them, find a safe place away from city lights, lie back, and look up. No telescope is needed–just your eyes and a little patience.

It was such an amazing experience being back on Møn, which recently became part of UNESCO world heritage. Here is a photograph taken on my second night about one hour before midnight. EARTH-DIRECTED CME (UPDATED): Yesterday, sunspot 4168 erupted, producing an M4.4-class solar flare (movie) and a partial-halo CME. According to a NASA model, the CME should graze Earth on Aug. 8th, sparking G1 to G2-class geomagnetic storms. Full moonlight could pose a challenge for photographers, but auroras will be present at high latitudes.

ESA/Hubble Release: Update on 3I/ATLAS Comet

3I/ATLAS is traveling through our Solar System at roughly 210,000 kilometres per hour, the highest velocity ever recorded for a Solar System visitor. 3I/ATLAS should remain visible through September, and is expected to reappear on the other side of the Sun by early December.

Hubble’s observations are allowing astronomers to more accurately estimate the size of the comet’s solid icy nucleus. The upper limit on the diameter of the nucleus is 5.6 kilometers, though it could be as small as 320 metres across, researchers report. Though the Hubble images put tighter constraints on the nucleus size compared to previous ground-based estimates, the solid heart of the comet presently cannot be directly seen, even by Hubble. Observations from other observatories, including the NASA/ESA/CSA James Webb Space Telescope, will help refine our knowledge about the comet, including its chemical makeup.

The big difference is that this interstellar visitor originated in some other Solar System elsewhere in our Milky Way galaxy.

3I/ATLAS is traveling through our Solar System at roughly 210,000 kilometres per hour, the highest velocity ever recorded for a Solar System visitor. This breathtaking sprint is evidence that the comet has been drifting through interstellar space for many billions of years. The gravitational slingshot effect from innumerable stars and nebulae the comet passed added momentum, ratcheting up its speed. The longer 3I/ATLAS was out in space, the higher its speed grew.

This comet was discovered by the Asteroid Terrestrial-impact Last Alert System (ATLAS) on 1 July 2025 at a distance of 675 million kilometres from the Sun. 3I/ATLAS should remain visible to ground-based telescopes through September, after which it will pass too close to the Sun to observe and is expected to reappear on the other side of the Sun by early December.

Mayan Calendar Time and Synchronicity

The 1 Road/EB 13-day trecena begins today, 08/07/2025, a symbol of Human’s Road to Destiny. Road/EB is the Saq’ Be’ (Sacred Road as named by the K’iche Maya tradition.) It represents our Spiritual Path and the White Road of the Milky Way. By Cherokee tradition the Rattlesnake Tooth marks a Time of Spiritual Healing. Road/EB also represents a Collective Experience – a Truth witnessed by Humanity as a whole.

Time is ordered to stand up straight, like Earth moves through the Lion’s Gate. It encourages us to stand in integrity with our Truth. Taking small steps, we’ll accelerate by the Momentum that is created when we complete the 5th uinal of Empowerment for Change, and move into the 6th uinal energies of Flow with a new Wind of Truth at our back.

We are guided by EB to honor the “old ones” and the sum of wisdom as a Divine Inheritance from every Human that walked this way before. We are united as One as we are passing through Doors Opened wide – doors of Light from the Universe in the Year of Jubilee, when blessings are doubled. We’re set free to embrace our own Road to Destiny – our Journey through Time.

EB represents God’s Divine Order spoken from the beginning. 3I/ATLAS is a comet that was set on a perfect course to engage with every planet in our Solar System, on dates of Spiritual Significance on the Mayan Calendar. A course of synchronicity is the foundation for speculation that 3I/ATLAS is an Interstellar spaceship. It began its journey billions of years ago. A Creator of Divine Design sent 3I/ATLAS toward Earth, near the beginning of Time.

The Perseid meteor showers originate from Perseus, a Hero that carries Medussa’s head away, in a “purse” that prevents anyone from seeing it and “being turned to stone.” This occurs as we reach the Full Sturgeon Moon, August 9 (known as the Month of the Hungry Ghosts in China). Mercury stations direct, the day after on August 10 as time to release the past and to step into a New Life with a Divine Purpose for the future.
