The Gift of Knowing
Everything there is to know about the Divine Plan for our life is written in the Seed. The Seed grows to its highest potential when the conditions are right. The Seed of Human’s Spirit is perennial. We need more than one Season to realize everything we were created to be.
Every Seed is born free of obligation. Our life is our first priority. KAN is the “dragon energy” within the Seed that can Feel when the conditions are right. We were given the Sacred Right to say “no” to people, places, and experiences that don’t “feel like home.” We long to be accepted as who we are. We were designed for a Right Relationship of Harmony and Equity.
Seed/KAN shares the Gift of Self Reflection. It’s Time for a thorough inspection of our Self. The Elders say, “You were given a life. What will you do with it?”
Are we living to please someone else? Those born Seed grow up to become caretakers of those who can’t take care of themselves. It takes Time and Wisdom to know the difference between caretaking and enabling. Our Heart’s Desire is to know we’re enough to stand on our own. As long as we depend on someone else, there will be someone else to blame.

Greetings Beloved Kin,

1 Seed/KAN
Proverbs 3:5-6 NIV
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.
We are empowered to make choices for our Self, while we’re told not to lean to our own understanding. We can’t depend on any Human’s understanding. The Wisdom of our own experience is enough, when we Ask God to know the Truth.
We’re innocent of sin when we “don’t know.” A Heart possessed by the Holy Spirit wants to know. We’re guilty if we don’t bother to ask or seek to know what grieves the Holy Spirit.
It’s Time to learn to say “no.” If Love depends on saying “yes” we have nothing to lose but our Self.
THE 8TH UINAL
Our Divine Justice is becoming who we were intended to be. God’s Divine Justice is Faith in Author of our Creation. He deserves to be the last Word. God is more than enough. He deserves to be the object of our highest affection.
HOLY DAY: Waxajquib (8) B’aatz
Mayan New Year, 8 Monkey/CHUEN
Waxajquib translates as “pure spirit.” The traditions of the North and South celebrate the Human calendar New Year as One. B’aatz is the Monkey by K’iche tradition. The New Year celebrates the “pure Spirit” of Creation made possible through the Gifts of the All in One.
8 Monkey/CHUEN is the Initiation Day for Mayan calendar “daykeepers.” Initiation is a commitment to Count the Days as a dedicated daily practice every day. The New Year is a Celebration for each orbit on the path to becoming an instrument of God’s Will in the world. God uses Time to reveal the Truth.
We have 8 days to consider what practice we might put in place for every Day. The names of the 260 Days are called at the Sacred Fire Ceremonies on the New Year. By tradition, the Maya included the Day name in the given name. The ritual calls all our names through every generation based on our Day. The New Year is Time to honor the Spirit of God that walked beside us every Day.
GUARDIAN OF THE CYCLE
13 Wisdom/CIB is the end from the beginning. Wisdom is the effect of an application of the Truth. 13 is a symbol of Answered Prayer. The Divine Intention from the beginning is to “know thyself.”
CYCLE OF DARKNESS
White and Yellow Day signs represent cycles where we learn the Truth by our own experience. Cycles of Darkness bring Light to the Truth-unknown, until you experience it for yourself. Remember everything a Seed can do.
Jeremiah 29:11 KJV
11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
love, in lak’ech, i am another you

Jewish Calendar and Traditions of Rosh Hashanah (Chabad.org)
Sunday, September 28, 2025, 6 Tishrei, 5786
The Shabbat between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur is called Shabbat Shuvah, “Shabbat of Return.” The name derives from the Haftarah (reading from the prophets) for this Shabbat, which opens with the words (Hosea 14:2), “Return O Israel unto the L-rd your G-d…” Occurring in the “Ten Days of Repentance”, it is a most auspicious time to rectify the failings and missed opportunities of the past and positively influence the coming year.
The 23rd Psalm
PRAYERS FROM THE THIRD WATCH
Mark 13:33 KJV
33 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.
TRECENA OF SEED/KAN: THE FACTS OF LIFE
The “Tzolk’in Field Guide” is my gift to download that includes the Count of Days with the aspects for each Destiny Kin and highlights for a personal practice with each trecena. It’s designed as a companion for daily practice.
It only takes 13 days to see how Faith is always raised to Knowing the Truth of Answered Prayers. You only have to track your thoughts. Record the matters on your mind in a journal to see how your perspective is changed by a Divine Order of Thoughts.
Visit the 13-Day Trecena Guide. to download a free copy. Volume 1 covers the first two seasons of the Tzolk’in, and Volume 2 covers the 3rd and 4th to the end of the Tzolk’in round.
Seed/KAN is the second trecena in the 3rd Season of the Tzolk’in round, found in Volume 2.
NOTE: Tone 1 reflects the 1st Light of Divine Inspiration as the “legend” of this chapter of Time. If you forget where you are, return to Tone 1 to see the “First Light” of Divine Inspiration. You can use the Tzolk’in calculator to gain insight on any date in the future or the past.
1 Seed/KAN (Cherokee, Dragon/UKTE’NA) – Day 1 of 13 of the 1 Seed/KAN trecena
Descriptions by Ian Xel Lungold (12 Sun/AHAU), wisdom and Tzolk’in calculator preserved on MayanMajix.com
Galactic Tone 1: Unity. One is the beginning of all things, the first, the whole and the all in one. One’s are assertive and self-guided and give a good push to whatever project they are associated with. One persons work best when meeting a challenge. Do not expect One-persons to be attentive to details or to put the finishing touches on things.
Seed/KAN: Family, sexual activity and the magic of germination are the characteristics of this sun sign. Natural net workers, Seed people strive to free themselves and others from debt or oppressive patterns of the past. Abundance is gathered by Seeds as if with a cast net. Seed persons are public defenders who work toward uniting community by discovering hidden traps and secret influences of others. To generate true abundance, Seed must learn to appreciate all gifts and lessons received and conduct profound investigations into its self. In the absence of gratefulness and the courage to face oneself, Seed finds itself in less than less fertile environments.
A GOOD DAY (AND TRECENA) TO: Plant, make new contacts and to connect with others.
Cherokee, Dragon/UKTE’NA: Fertility and pro-creation from generation to generation. The word dragon means ”eye, to look at, to see clearly”. In China ley lines are called “dragon lines”; orgone energy, pyramid power, or magnetic force. Pyramids and kivas are collector portals for this energy, known as vortexes. Dragon energy beats a path everywhere, stirring things up with a big stick in tune with the beat of the drum, heartbeat of the Earth.
[Text in italics was the primary source of inspiration for my journal. These are the sources that started my journey and they are the reference for interpretation each day. By providing the original text, I hope to offer a way to see what inspired my thoughts and by including all the aspects – allow for something more to inspire you. Mayan descriptions are those written by Ian Lungold. Cherokee descriptions came from multiple sources.
