The Word: Whirlwind of Creation (1 Wind/IK)

Words Carry Weight

John 1:1 – King James Version
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Wind/IK represents the Power of the Living Word to carry out an Act of God. Wind represents the Breath of Life and Breath of Spirit. The Element of Air relates to our faculties of consciousness. The Truth carries its weight. The 13-Day cycle of Wind/IK is Truth we realize by the Wisdom of our own experience.

The Maya compared the Power of God’s Word to a Hurricane. In one breathe, the Wind can change the landscape of our life. The Truth can change our mind.

Portal 222:222

1 Wind/IK is Destiny Kin 222. By Northern Count, the Year Bearer of the Haab Calendar is 1 Wind/IK. The 2025 Year of Jubilee opens doors and doubles the blessing. Master Number 22 represents the Power to manifest any Creation that is drawn from Divine Inspiration. Each repetition magnifies the power of the symbol. 222 is a symbol of Trinity, and 222:222 is doubled.

Happy Mayan Birthday to Minisa Crumbo Halsey, 1 Wind/IK

Minisa introduced me to sacred ceremony in 2002, and traveled with me to our first formal teaching on the Mayan calendar in 2009. It was Minisa’s words that set the course for my pilgrimage to Ek’ Balam in 2018. Her words carry wisdom and weight.

Happy Mayan Birthday, Minisa!

‘Winter Solstice’ excerpts from ‘Spirit Talk’

by Minisa Crumbo Halsey, Dawn Woman’s Blog

“The winter solstice, embedded within the purifying power of the cold, cloaked with the white plain of purity, located in and upon the wisdom body of the original gift, represents the core wisdom quality of winter … Conscious arrival and acquaintance with the Winter threshold of the Sacred Medicine Wheel Hoop of Life is a primal renewal experience, made ceremony. If this is a new concept to you, trust that you have entered into one of the most beautiful and comprehensive systems in this galaxy and beyond for containing, supporting, and interpreting life in a sacred way.”

THE TRECENA OF WIND/IK: THE WEIGHT OF THE CREATOR’S WORD
MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
1  Wind/IK (eek), Cherokee, Whirlwind/AGALU’GA, Destiny Kin 222, Position 2
December 15, 2025, 12/15/2025; Rounds Before: 03/30/2025, Haab New Year, 07/13/2024, 10/27/2023

Trecena of Wind/IK: Dec 15-27, 2025

Greetings Beloved Kin,

God holds the Power to direct our eyes to see and our ears to hear the Truth. The 4th is the Ascending Season of the Tzolk’in round, carried out by a Hand of Divine Authority. God completes the Creation of Divine Trinity.

Matthew 5:18 KJV
18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

THE 12TH UINAL
The Intention on a Higher Order of Time (20 Days) is Understanding. It’s Time to comprehend what it means to be transformed by the Hand of God.

THE GUARDIAN OF THE TRECENA
13 Jaguar/IX is the symbol of an Ascension of Spirit. Earth is reaching its closest proximity to the Sun. Earth’s parhelion is January 3, 2026. Our Journey will be an invisible experience guided by Wisdom Above.

CYCLE OF DARKNESS
Cycles of “Darkness” bring the Unknown Truth to Light. 1 Wind/IK holds the Truth that tears away the veil that prevents us from “seeing clearly” a Truth we already know. God’s Truth becomes Our Truth when we are aligned with the Holy of Holies.

Cycles of Wind/IK can draw chaos out of an existing order. Like a Trumpet sound, Wind/IK can create the chaos of world-shattering events. The Word promises a place under God’s Wing for those who Love the Lord.

Winter is the Time for Self Love and Self Care. Heavenly Signs herald the coming Light. We’re called to wait with Joy and Gratitude for what God Shall Do.

love, in lak’ech, i am another you

Debra, 9 Eagle/MEN

Hebrews 12:1 KJV
1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us

Matthew 24:36 NIV
The Day and Hour Unknown
36 “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

Psalm 121 – Words for Days of Ascent

PRAYERS FROM THE SECOND WATCH

The next time you’re Called to Pray, refer to the 8 Watches by the Time of Day. You may discover it was the reason for your prayers. Someone somewhere else is praying. We can remember them in Divine Trinity in our Amen.

THE EIGHT WATCHES

Night Watch

First Watch: 6 pm – 9 pm – Contemplation and laying foundations in prayer.
Second Watch: 9 pm – 12 am – Intercessory prayer for protection of ourselves and those around us
Third Watch: 12 am – 3 am – Spiritual warfare
Fourth Watch: 3 am – 6 am – Prophetic prayer because you are commanding your morning with prophetic decrees and declaring God’s word

Day Watch

Fifth Watch: 6 am – 9 am – Petitions. Ask for strength and surrender. Ask for the Holy Spirit to help you before you start your day
Sixth Watch: 9 am – 12 pm – Thanksgiving prayer
Seventh Watch : 12 pm – 3 pm – This is the seventh watch of rest. 7 Biblically represents that. This is a time to seek God in the secret place
Eighth Watch: 3 pm – 6 pm – This is the eight and final watch of the night and a time for prayer for revival and renewal. Symbolically, Christ died at 3 pm.

1 Wind/IK (Cherokee, Whirlwind/AGALU’GA) – Day 1 of 13 of the 1 Wind/IK trecena

Descriptions by Ian Xel Lungold (12 Sun/AHAU), wisdom and Free Tzolk’in calculator preserved on MayanMajix.com

Galactic Tone 1: Unity. One is the beginning of all things, the first, the whole and the all in one. One’s are assertive and self-guided and give a good push to whatever project they are associated with. One persons work best when meeting a challenge. Do not expect One-persons to be attentive to details or to put the finishing touches on things.

Wind/IK: Breath of Spirit, breath of life. Winds embody the power of dissemination and planting of good seeds or ideas. Dreamers and planners with powerful imaginations, Wind persons make great orators and they spread the word of spiritual inspiration as it is carried by the wind. Wind is the power behind the movement of natural cycles such as weather, erosion, and cultural change. As the wind, these persons are extremely changeable and adaptable. They may appear inconsistent or fickle to others. Wind can be destructive to self and others by putting on airs. When Winds strut and boast, expanding on facts and accomplishments, they are building the dark clouds of trouble that may become hurricanes.

A GOOD DAY TO: Send Communications of all kinds.

Cherokee, Whirlwind/AGALU’GA: Whirlwind’s symbol is a double spiral helix in rising smoke. Wind brings energy for an Inquiring mind, learning and wisdom. In Cherokee, the constellations are represented by 12 birds (dancers), the 13th bird is the Whirlwind, the lead dancer. This reflects the whirling of life. Wind is the breath of the Universe, the channel of communication that carries the Sacred Smoke to the Great Spirit.
