YUKON MOON HALOS: On Feb. 28th, Joel Weatherly witnessed a once-in-a-lifetime display of ice halos around the Moon. “They appeared while I was guiding an aurora tour in the Yukon Territory for Classic Canadian Tours,” says Weatherly. “It was a truly exceptional display of atmospheric optics!”

In this one photo, Weatherly captured a 22-degree moon halo, a pair of moondogs, a circumscribed halo, and a complete paraselenic circle–all caused by moonlight shining through ice crystals in the air.

“With air temperatures below -30° C, the atmosphere was full of ice crystals, refracting light to create true art out of physics,” says Weatherly.

Readers, be alert for Moon halos this week. The Moon will be full and very bright. This, plus cold winter air, sets the stage for a variety of arcsdogs, and other halos around the glaring lunar disk.

Blood Moon 2026: Total Lunar Eclipse on March 2–3 (Exact Times + Visibility Map)

The Blood Moon (total lunar eclipse) happens on March 2–3, 2026 — the calendar date depends on your time zone. That moment falls before sunrise in much of the Americas, on the evening of March 3 across East Asia and Australia, and after midnight on March 4 in New Zealand. The next total lunar eclipse after this won’t happen until 2028. In this guide, you’ll find clear visibility maps and exact eclipse timings — plus an easy way to check whether the eclipse will be visible from your location using the Sky Tonight app.

It only takes 13 days to see how Faith is always raised to Knowing the Truth of Answered Prayers. You only have to track your thoughts. Record the matters on your mind in a journal to see how your perspective is changed by a Divine Order of Thoughts.

1 Deer/MANIK is the 3nd trecena found in “Tzolk’in Field Guide: Volume 1, Seasons 1 and 2”

When you get lost, return to the Inspiration of Day One. Tone 1 of each trecena is the Light of God’s Divine Inspiration for 13 Days.

Galactic Tone 12: Understanding. This number’s energy is a gift of great capability, of retrospection. It is this ability that allows Twelve to connect disassociated parts into a (new) functioning whole. The energy of Twelve is that which presents a new piece of understood information or accumulated experience to be applied.

Flint/ETZNAB: Mirror of reality. As a struck flint, these persons are the divine sparks of intelligence. Flint’s innate abilities are utilized to discriminate emotions from fact. Flint persons stand tireless to protect, defend, or cure others by personal sacrifice. By courageously wielding the sword of truth, falsehoods are cut away. Flints, it was said, can receive information on inter-personal troubles or evil plots of others by reflecting in an obsidian mirror. Their valiant service as warriors of the truth must be impeccable or they will experience sufferings of accidents, misunderstandings and gossip.

A GOOD DAY TO: Spend time in Reflection and Introspection.

Cherokee, Flint/DAWI’SGALA: Mirror, flint.  Ability to discern deception and mirror it back to the other.  A catalyst for change through this ability.  When used properly, harmonic resonance can be the result.  If you take on another’s issues through the mirror, the result will be anger, grief and misunderstanding of purpose.  All issues will surface and be mirrored in this earth walk.  Energy comparable for teaching, leader, philosopher, writer, observing the mass consciousness evolution in some manner. Flint’s symbol is Chawa’ or Castor of the Castor and Pollux Twins in Gemini.  Castor appears in the evening personifying darkness. Pollux then appears in the east at dawn to end the night. Totem is a Flint Knife.  Flint spirit shone a light like the sun and gave the people the Sacred Venus Calendar, fixed the days and promised to watch over the earthlings.  A flint person endeavors to keep that covenant.  Opener of the Way, a creator, innovator, stretches the mind to outside limits of capabilities. Changes the static to the dynamic.  Brings about change, often through separation and destruction.  Beams the Stellar Ray of Truth to Earth as a crystal sword cast down along the path of a lightning flash. The transformer brings things to a head and wipes the slate clean.
