Psalm 118:24 KJV
24 This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Tone 8 is the Zenith Hour of Divine Justice. Monkey/CHUEN is “God the Creator”.

The Mayan New Year is celebrated by both the North and South traditions as the most important celebration of the Human calendar. B’aatz is the K’iche name for Monkey/CHUEN, the Conscious Creator who Beholds the Beauty of Time. The glyph illustrates “time rolled up” in the Monkey’s head.

The Monkey is the Master of all Arts who weaves time together to create the Masterpiece of our Life. An artist’s eye sees the beauty in the contrast between the Darkness and the Light. Where darkness ends the Light begins in the full-spectrum of living colors.

Waxajquib is the K’iche word for 8 that means “pure spirit”. Life is a journey of Time and the Coming of the Light. Beauty begins with every Sunrise and ends with the Setting Sun. Through the Light we were given the eyes to see clearly. The Master Artist makes the choice to see the Beauty of every Day.

Mayan Calendar Time and Synchronicity

Holy Day: The Initiation of the Ajq’ij (ahk-KEEH)

Ajq’ij is the K’iche most commonly used name that translates literally to “counter of the days” or “one who holds authority of the day”.

  • Aj: Indicates the person who holds authority or is in charge of something.
  • Q’ij: Means “day,” “sun,” or “light”. (Ajq’ijab’ is the plural form.)

The Initiation of the Daykeeper celebrates those who take on the Authority of Time by Counting Every Day. The Mayan tradition is carried out with the Sacred Fire Ceremony where every Day of the Human calendar is spoken — beginning with 1 Monkey/CHUEN, 2 Monkey/CHUEN, 3 Monkey/CHUEN… through each of the 260 Days that make up the Whole of the Creator’s Light. The Mayan Day sign was included in the given name. Your name will be remembered and spoken today as One in the Creator’s Circle of Life.

The path will be consecrated and blessed. From this Time forward we will share the Creator’s Name by the Day we are reborn to the Highest Meaning and Purpose of Time.

By the cosmology of the Maya, to remember is to bring the “pure spirit” of Love back to life within the Sanctuary of our Living Consciousness. This is the Day we are reborn together as the Living Body of the Christ Spirit.

A Holy Day by the Christian Calendar

The Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, Lectionary: 167

This Day is celebrated by the Sacrament of the Holy Communion.

Reading 1, Deuteronomy 8:2-3, 14b-16a
Moses said to the people:
“Remember how for forty years now the LORD, your God,
has directed all your journeying in the desert,
so as to test you by affliction
and find out whether or not it was your intention
to keep his commandments.
He therefore let you be afflicted with hunger,
and then fed you with manna,
a food unknown to you and your fathers,
in order to show you that not by bread alone does one live,
but by every word that comes forth from the mouth of the LORD.

“Do not forget the LORD, your God,
who brought you out of the land of Egypt,
that place of slavery;
who guided you through the vast and terrible desert
with its saraph serpents and scorpions,
its parched and waterless ground;
who brought forth water for you from the flinty rock
and fed you in the desert with manna,
a food unknown to your fathers.”

Responsorial Psalm, Psalm 147:12-13, 14-15, 19-20
R. Praise the Lord, Jerusalem.
Glorify the LORD, O Jerusalem;
praise your God, O Zion.
For he has strengthened the bars of your gates;
he has blessed your children within you.
R. Praise the Lord, Jerusalem.
He has granted peace in your borders;
with the best of wheat he fills you.
He sends forth his command to the earth;
swiftly runs his word!
R. Praise the Lord, Jerusalem.
He has proclaimed his word to Jacob,
his statutes and his ordinances to Israel.
He has not done thus for any other nation;
his ordinances he has not made known to them. Alleluia.
R. Praise the Lord, Jerusalem.

The Lord gave Moses the Blessing to be spoken to the children of God. The Word reaches its end by the Power of the Holy Spirit. By Jewish tradition the Blessing is a Meditation. With each verse we pause to consider what it means and Count our Blessings.

Numbers 6:24-26 KJV
24 The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:
25 The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
26 The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.

IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER, THE SON, AND THE HOLY GHOST. AMEN
As it was spoken, so shall it be.

love, in lak’ech, “i am another you”

Hebrews 12:1-2 KJV
12 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

PRAYERS FROM THE FOURTH WATCH – Prophetic Prayer, Commanding your morning with prophetic decrees and declaring God’s word.

The next time you’re drawn to Pray, refer to the 8 Watches by the Time of Day, AFTER. The Bible refers to Watchers from Above (‘iyr in Hebrew) in Daniel 4:13, 17, 23. We’re called to our prayers by high-ranking angelic beings sent from heaven to observe and execute divine decrees. You may find synchronicity in your prayers.

THE EIGHT WATCHES

Night Watch

  • First Watch: 6 pm – 9 pm – Contemplation and laying foundations in prayer.
  • Second Watch: 9 pm – 12 am – Intercessory prayer for protection of ourselves and those around us
  • Third Watch: 12 am – 3 am – Spiritual warfare (We are covered by the blood of Jesus.)
  • Fourth Watch: 3 am – 6 am – Prophetic prayer because you are commanding your morning with prophetic decrees and declaring God’s word

Day Watch

  • Fifth Watch: 6 am – 9 am – Petitions. Ask for strength and surrender. Ask for the Holy Spirit to help you before you start your day
  • Sixth Watch: 9 am – 12 pm – Thanksgiving prayer (on behalf of the whole)
  • Seventh Watch : 12 pm – 3 pm – This is the seventh watch of rest. 7 Biblically represents that. This is a time to seek God in the secret place
  • Eighth Watch: 3 pm – 6 pm – This is the eight and final watch of the night and a time for prayer for revival and renewal. Symbolically, Christ died at 3 pm.

Sacred Fire Ceremony for the Maya New Year, carried out by the priest near Lake Atitllan in Guatemala

8 Monkey/CHUEN (Cherokee, Raccoon/KVH’LI) – Day 8 of 13 of the 1 Seed/KAN trecena

Descriptions by Ian Xel Lungold (12 Sun/AHAU), wisdom and Free Calculator preserved on MayanMajix.com

Galactic Tone 8:  Justice. Harmony and balance are the intent of Eights carefully weighs all evidence to reach a balance of justice. Eight is the power of organization demonstrated in the statement ‘as above, so below,’ from simplicity to infinity, the energy of eight organizes all levels of creation, some eights are ‘neat freaks.’

Monkey/CHUEN: Monkey is known to the Maya as the Weaver or Weaver of Time. Monkey takes ideas as threads of vines and weaves them into the fabric of our reality. New patterns or inventions are also woven into our lives by Monkey. Amiable, intelligent, generous and a jack of all trades, Monkey’s innocent curiosity leads to artistic expression and constructive solutions. Many Monkeys become highly respected merchants or speakers. They love performing practical jokes and crave attention, so much so that they may over-act or play the fool to get the spotlight. Monkeys have a short attention span and find it difficult to stay with anything long enough to master it.

A GOOD DAY TO: Begin anything new in your life.

Cherokee, Raccoon/KVH’LI: Star Symbol: Algol, a star in Perseus. Restless energy yearning for long-lost love. Algol was named DEMON STAR or MISCHIEVOUS ONE by the Ancients because it winks and fades at times. Raccoons are full of friendly mischief, eager to swap kisses for candy; magnetic leaders, full of humor and gaiety. Favorite food is corn, the mainstay of the Cherokee. Very artistic while being the “masked bandit” who steals your heart.
