Ellerman’s bombs around new sunspot, Taken by Tosi Philippe on May 24, 2026 @ FRANCE-Nîmes
Mixed-polarity (Delta-Class) Magnetic Fields
SPACEWEATHER.COM NEWS: 06/26/2026
MAJOR FLARE WATCH IN EFFECT: Giant sunspot 4478 has been quiet for days, but the clock is ticking. Now that the sunspot has rotated fully onto the solar disk, we can see that it has a mixed-polarity (delta-class) magnetic field that harbors energy for X-class explosions. A major flare could be in the offing.
Dozens of bright spots around the sunspot add credence to this forecast:
These are Ellerman bombs–magnetic explosions about one-millionth as powerful as true solar flares. A handful are circled (in the image) above for reference. They are named after physicist Ferdinand Ellerman who studied the tiny blasts in the early 20th century. Of course, “tiny” is relative. A single Ellerman bomb releases about 1026 ergs of energy–equal to about 100,000 World War II atomic bombs.
Explosions like these are a sign of magnetic complexity in a sunspot. Opposite polarities bump together, reconnect, and–boom. A full-fledged X-flare may not be far behind.

T CrB NOVA WATCH
today: m=9.7 (Jun 26.4)
yesterday: m=10.3
AAVSO data: #1, #2.
In case you forgot, star T CrB in the Corona Borealis (Northern Crown) has been due to nova any day for a couple of years. Historically, it has followed an 80-year schedule. After the last two dates forecast, predictors have gone silent. Though, any day now… a new star as bright as Polaris could make an appearance.
Mayan Calendar Time and Synchronicity
In the cycle of Seed/KAN we’re guided by a Light within. 12 Eagle/MEN looks to the future and flies by Faith in the Truth of the Word. On Tone 12, the Lord reveals the Truth and we know what it means. 12 is the Creator’s highest intention for Human understanding. The Eagle flies by Faith and not by Sight, leaning into the wind.
On Eagle/MEN we ascend to a higher perspective. I’m curious if the eaglets at Big Bear Valley will take flight today. Dad brought a bigger fish this morning – one that Luna couldn’t eat in one bite. Mom, Jackie allows what will be and makes sure everyone is served their due. Someday Luna (little brother) will be the “primary provider” who will fight to feed a future family. Sandy (big sister) is learning to keep peace in the nest.

TRECENA OF SEED/KAN: THE FACTS OF LIFE
The “Tzolk’in Field Guide” is my gift to download that includes the Count of Days with the aspects for each Destiny Kin and highlights for a personal practice with each trecena. It’s designed as a companion for daily practice.
It only takes 13 days to see how Faith is always raised to Knowing the Truth of Answered Prayers. You only have to track your thoughts. Record the matters on your mind in a journal to see how your perspective is changed by a Divine Order of Thoughts.
Visit the 13-Day Trecena Guide. to download a free copy. Volume 1 covers the first two seasons of the Tzolk’in, and Volume 2 covers the 3rd and 4th to the end of the Tzolk’in round.
Seed/KAN is the second trecena in the 3rd Season of the Tzolk’in round, found in Volume 2.
NOTE: Tone 1 reflects the “First Light” of Divine Inspiration for the cycle. Keep a 3-Day Journal of the matter on your mind each Day.
12 Eagle/MEN (Cherokee, Eagle/UWO’HATLI) – Day 12 of 13 of the 1 Seed/KAN trecena
Descriptions by Ian Xel Lungold (12 Sun/AHAU), wisdom and Free Calculator preserved on MayanMajix.com
Galactic Tone 12: Understanding. This number’s energy is a gift of great capability of retrospection. It is this ability that allows Twelve to connect disassociated parts into a (new) functioning whole. The energy of Twelve is that which presents a new piece of understood information or accumulated experience to be applied.
Eagle/MEN: Intermediary between Heaven and Earth. Due to the Eagles superior point of view and keen intelligence, they achieve material abundance and good fortune. A messenger gifted with patience and a deep sense of value, Eagle brings hope and trust on the wings of Spirit. Eagle persons are very detail oriented and technically inclined. Compassionate service to others sustains prosperity for Eagle personas as the flapping of wings would sustain their bird brothers. If Eagle becomes viciously competitive or possessive, greed and jealousy cause a fall from the heights. Eagles, being blessed with freedom of movement, should be aware of escapism. Eagles may be tempted to just fly away from troubles by using indulgences.
A GOOD DAY TO: Ascend to a larger perspective.
Cherokee, Eagle/UWO’HATLI: Eagle’s symbol is Mars the Spirit Warrior. He is a minion of Grandfather Moon. Eagles were the warrior society, the braves the protectors of the nation. Women were included. There was no discrimination which is reflected in the language: third person singular is divided into animate, human and animate, not human instead of he and she. The energy of high hopes and anticipations, dreams and visions, cosmic consciousness and commitment. On earth, a provider of excellence, leader, husbandry, care-taking of others, financial security and inheritance.
[Text in italics was the primary source of inspiration for my journal. These are the sources that started my journey and they are the reference for interpretation each day. By providing the original text, I hope to offer a way to see what inspired my thoughts and by including all the aspects – allow for something more to inspire you. Mayan descriptions are those written by Ian Lungold. Cherokee descriptions came from multiple sources.
