A Lunar Eclipse Prompted the Question

ALMOST TOTAL LUNAR ECLIPSE: Last night’s lunar eclipse was only 96%. That was enough. “Our cactus loved it,” reports Bill Williams who sends this picture from Jupiter, Florida:

 

“Whenever I witness an eclipse, I like to be acutely aware of my surroundings such as how animals react during a solar eclipse,” says Williams. “While enjoying this partial lunar eclipse, I noticed that my Night-Blooming Cactus (Cereus peruvianus) was displaying a spectacular huge white flower! I rarely see this cactus bloom, so I wondered if this is coincidence or somehow related to the Full Moon.”

The answer is yes. He explains: “Turns out that the creatures that pollinate this species of cactus such as sphinx moths, bats and nocturnal insects are more active during the Full Moon because the bright moonlight reflects off the white flowers making the cactus more likely to be pollinated. Who knew??!!”

The eclipse was widely visible from coast to coast in the USA and throughout the Americas, while Europeans caught it setting at dawn. Browse the eclipse gallery for the latest photos.

WAITING FOR THE CME: A CME expected to hit Earth on Aug 28th is overdue. But NOAA forecasters think it might still arrive on Aug. 29th. An impact today could spark G1/G2 geomagnetic storming with high-latitude auroras.

A submission from Norway in the Spaceweather.com Image Gallery confirms that in fact an aurora did arrive on August 28, 2026. Hopefully, more are on the way! I like to think our ancient ancestors saw this and wondered if it was an angel.

Mayan Calendar Time and Synchronicity

I belonged to the Tucson Amateur Astronomers Association from 2006 to 2009. One thing I learned from academic astrologers at the University of Arizona was that most of these scientists were inspired by the Primary Question of Creation.

11 Storm/CAUAC represents the Higher Truth beyond the limits of Human’s imagination. 11:11 is a symbol that raises the Question. When we see it we’re bound to wonder if it’s a Sign of a Divine Communion, or just a coincidence. The more times we see it in the same Day, the more convinced we are that there is One Above that sees the One Below.

A Cactus Flower answered the question of a Divine Relationship between the Earth and the Moon. It still takes Faith for the Truth to be revealed to our Heart and Mind. Bill Williams (William Williams?) was inspired to look for the Answer.

The Creator made it possible to believe. Genetic scientists have discovered that the capacity for Faith is written in our Human DNA.

Storm/CAUAC, like Lightning, offers a gift of renewal and regeneration to Earth. Signs above restore our Hope and there’s reason to have Faith when we are all hoping and praying together.

Galactic Tone 11: Resolution; 11 assists every new thing to find its place in the universe in the process of ‘fitting in.’ some modifications must occur. Eleven is the energy of dynamic actions facilitating change, simplification and improvement.

Storm/Cauac: Day of the blessing of rain, giver of all life and lightening, a gift of nitrogen to Mother Earth and ozone to Father Sky. Cauac is also associated with the moon and the cycles of the moon, which are the meter of the feminine aspect of creation. The essence of Storm is the feeling of unity, security and warmth experienced in the home while the tempest of trouble rages in the world outside. Perpetually youthful, Storms exist to experience the ecstasy of freedom. They have the great capacity to both learn and teach. Their constant quest for novel experiences often leads to difficult tests and storms of emotion. Looking at these difficulties for the lessons they indeed are, will enrich our lives rather than destroy. Cauac individuals teach much through their electricity of being. Lightning energizes earth, this same energy energizes humans. Divine connections can be accessed.

A GOOD DAY TO: Count your lessons as blessings and your enemies as angels.

Cherokee, Redbird/TOTSU’HWA: Redbird’s symbol is Alcyone of the Pleiades Star in constellation Taurus.  Alcyone is the Central Sun of the Universe, heart of heaven. Lightning is the visible evidence of the presence of Redbird Spirit in the Sky, daughter of the Sun Spirit, sign of Fire, Sun’s alter ego on Earth. Redbird is a feminine sign; the hand that rocks the cradle. The symbol of nurturing, the lightning nurtures and energizes, with energy for zest, curiosity, imagination, and ideas. Lightning adds spiritual force to the human by way of “lightning of the blood” of a healer, directly body to body vibration. The key to spiritual communication and access to the wisdom of the Ancestors lies in the ability to bestir the blood to speak. Sacred stones such as flint, obsidian, crystal are created by lightning striking the ground.

The Cardinal doesn’t migrate. It stays with us and is seen brightest against the snow.
