1 Deer/MANIK Trecena, Feb 18-Mar 2. 2026 – A Dedicated Daily Path to Follow: Deer/MANIK represents the Mission of the Mayan priest, as a Hand dedicated to a Mission to offer the Service of Love on behalf of the whole. This round, the beginning is aligned with Ash Wednesday in synchronicity with a Divine Order to follow. The Mission defined by the “high priest” of the Catholic tradition is 40 Days in Silence – to Listen, Fast our Words, and to carry out the mission for the whole. This Lent Faith is expanded from a solo mission, to one we carry out together as One. The End promised from the beginning (13 Storm/CAUAC) is a Day we grasp the Truth as the Answer to all our Prayers.
February 18, 2026: Begins the Season of Lent
SOURCE: Jason Soroski – Not every Christian tradition observes Ash Wednesday, yet it is important to be aware that many around the world are participating in it as the season of Lent begins.
The invitation to follow the 40 Days of Lent sets an Intention to remember the lengths to which Christ went for the forgiveness of our sins. The tradition of Ash Wednesday began in the Middle Ages by the Anglo-Saxon (English) monk Aelfric the Grammarian wrote,
“We read in the books both in the Old Law and in the New that the men who repented of their sins bestrewed themselves with ashes and clothed their bodies with sackcloth. Now let us do this little at the beginning of our Lent that we strew ashes upon our heads to signify that we ought to repent of our sins”.

The Global Burner lies at the center of every Season. The meaning for the Time is a Release of energy that no longer serves the highest good of the whole. The Mayan priest – the Hand dedicated to God’s Will, carries out the Sacred Fire ceremony to restore Right Relationship. Where Love leads, we follow. The central purpose of the First Season is to realize the Source of the Creation, the Truth and the Way.
