A DANGEROUS SUNSPOT: Big sunspot AR3288 has an unstable ‘delta-class’ magnetic field that harbors energy for powerful X-class solar flares. If such an explosion does occur today, it will be geoeffective. The sunspot is almost directly facing Earth.

On April 27, 2023, Spaceweather.com reported on the CME hurled during the Solar eclipse, and the potential for an earlier-than-expected Solar Maximum event for this once in every 11-year season of Solar Activity.

It will be interesting to see what the Sun projects toward Earth during the 13-day cycle of Sun/AHAU of the Tzolk’in calendar.
