Within the Seed: A Higher Perspective (12 Eagle/MEN)

Fly by Faith and Not by Sight

With Time we are more capable of seeing the big picture. Last time around I woke up remembering a Miracle. Back in my single-parent days the job that paid the bills required me to travel. My employer accommodated my need by assigning me territories within a day’s drive from home.

One ordinary day required me to drive 3 hours from Kansas City to Omaha. The car broke down an hour away. These were days before cell phones. I was falling apart when a car pulled up behind me. I was lost in tears when a gentleman appeared at my window. There was no one else to save me. He kindly offered to drive me to my appointment. While I was there he arranged for a tow to a shop near the breakdown. He picked me up after my call and drove me back to the repair shop, where I picked up the car and headed home.

Looking back, he had to be an angel. I can’t imagine accepting a ride from a total stranger. I don’t remember his name and he was never seen or heard from again. It was a miracle then, and even more of a miracle as I remember it today.

I was falling apart when a car pulled up behind me and lost in tears when a gentleman appeared at my window. There was no one else to save me. He kindly offered his support. He drove me to my appointment, while he carried on to make arrangements for the tow to a shop near the breakdown. Then he picked me up and drove me back to the repair shop.

Looking back, he had to be an angel. I can’t imagine accepting a ride from a total stranger. I don’t remember his name and he was never seen or heard from again. It was a miracle then, and even more of a miracle as I remember it today.
