The Confession

Jeremiah 33:3
3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

The Hebrew month of Elul is a time of preparation for the High Holy Days of a New Beginning. Wisdom/CIB is a cycle that draws upon the Highest Possible Truth for application. The Lord’s answer to Jeremiah’s prayer was to ask to know the Unknown Truth.

It’s easier to see the sins of others. There is something more to see when hold a resentment of injustice. When hearts are opened to receive the Truth, we might find that we are guilty too of the very same thing in thought, word or deed. Even if we’ve changed there are sins we’ve yet to confess.
