6 Serpent / CHICCHAN – Vigil of Light: Day 6 of 13

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

5 Serpent / CHICCHAN

Greetings Kin,

Tone 6 brings the Intention of Flow in a Rhythm and Pattern of Movement. Depending on the Creator, and Remembering the Peace we knew in the womb of Pure Consciousness are the Spiritual Tools we needed to accomplish our new Spiritual Growth.

Sun/AHAU, the Divine Father, is teaching us to discipline our thoughts. As we become familiar with the Power of these tools, we become more willing to turn to them. At first, we’ll have to make the Conscious Choice (between suffering and happiness). With a little practice we won’t have to think twice. We’ll automatically Choose Happiness.

Serpent/CHICCHAN brings a Gift of “lightning in the blood.” CHICCHAN is the catalyst that lights the fuse of Spiritual Life Force and our Sixth Sense of Knowing. CHICCHAN is the “magic” behind all the Spiritual Gifts that connect us to Divine Consciousness, like the Lightning that connects the Above and the Below.

12 Serpent / CHICCHAN – Walking as a Shape-Shifter: Day 12 of 13

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

12 Serpent / CHICCHAN

Greetings Kin,

Tone 12 is the Day of Understanding. Truth moves from the Head to the Heart.

Serpent/CHICCHAN is a catalyst of Spirit. “It lights the fuse that magnifies and explodes the life force itself.”  Down through history, the Serpent/Snake has represented the Force of Life. The Maya call CHICCHAN a symbol of “lightning in the blood,” the Spark that bestirs the blood to speak. “Lightning in the Blood” is the Sixth Sense expressed by Spirit in the body and blood.

CHICCHAN produces symptoms like an electrical charge of goosebumps, hair raising, or the blood-stirring of a blush. CHICCHAN is a Sense that overcomes our body from the Movement of Spirit in the Heart. Our thoughts are electrical charges, our emotions are said to be magnetic. Through an electrical charge of Divine Thought, our Hearts and Minds beat as One.

CHICCHAN is a Spiritual Gift. It’s the most pronounced and recognizable of ALL our Spiritual Gifts. 12 Serpent/CHICCHAN is the Gift the Jaguar has led us to… Knowing our Spiritual Gifts are Real.

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

5 Serpent / CHICCHAN

Greetings Kin,

All the conditions are right for the Seed of our Dream to take hold in the Womb of our Mother. IMIX that leads this trecena is the Primordial Mother that holds us in the Void of all possibility. This is a trecena to take note of the Voices that speak to us of Dreams and Ideas.

On Tone 5 we are ignited by Serpent/CHICCHAN, the catalyst that ignites our Consciousness. CHICCHAN is the Day Sign of “lightning in the blood” that bestirs our blood to speak. CHICCHAN’s energy is a Sixth Sense of Knowing that engages our Whole Being, like a Divine Charge of Electricity.

Tone 5 holds the Intention of Empowerment, bringing the Power to complete a Spiritual Climb. Our Power will come as a Discernment of Spirit we Feel within.

CHICCHAN awakens our Intuition and Knowing through the blood. Our blood is the water that holds the Ether of Spirit. Our Spark is the pulse that beats in rhythm with our Mother Earth. Through a language without words, we will simply Know our Oneness with the Creator.

11 Serpent / CHICCHAN – Flight of Higher Vision: Day 11 of 13

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

11 Serpent / CHICCHAN

Greetings Kin,

Tone 11 is a day of Resolution. The elements of our experience are drawn together to resolve a new direction. Tone 11 is the day the shaman climb to the Highest Altar for Divine Inspiration. We can see the Truth from a Higher Perspective.

Serpent/CHICCHAN is the Day Sign of “lightning in the blood.”  CHICCHAN is the catalyst that ignites the Spirit, like an electrical charge from the Above to the Below. “Lightning in the blood” is our sixth sense of Knowing that can be felt in the body. CHICCHAN’s energy sparks goose bumps, hair raising, and Kundalini sensations that travel up the spine. CHICCHAN’s Spiritual Gift is “Knowing as a Feeling.”

The Human body was designed as a Receiver of Divine Consciousness. CHICCHAN’s Spiritual Energy is measurable as a “real Human experience.”

CHICCHAN lights the fuse of Divine Consciousness. The Serpent is capable to shed its old skin to be made new. CHICCHAN offers a Gift of Knowing how our dynamic state of Consciousness has already changed the future we saw before.

4 Serpent / CHICCHAN – Mission of Spirit: Day 4 of 13

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

4 Serpent/CHICCHAN

Greetings Kin,

Tone 4 brings the intention of Stability. Representing the cube, the most stable of all forms, and the 4 directions. 4 establishes an orientation, direction and parameters of movement, like the rules of a game.

Serpent/CHICCHAN is the catalyst, the Spark that Lights the Fuse to Life Force itself. This is a day of “Lightning in the Blood.” Serpent seats the Spark within the Seed, our Spiritual DNA.

“Lightning in the Blood” relates to our sixth senses, our Spiritual Gifts of Knowing. CHICCHAN holds the Force of Life, Animation, and Movement and Awakens the Spiritual Force within. The Ether of Spirit resides in the Element of Water that flows through Human. CHICCHAN’s gift of Knowing creates sensations in the body as a means of Discernment.

All Human’s were Equally Gifted. Our Spiritual Gifts are part of our everyday experience. We’ve only forgotten the power they hold. We won’t notice them unless we pay attention. We sense danger that generated goosebumps or raised hair. We’ve walked into a room where we knew we’d stepped into the middle of something going on. We don’t even notice to discern what it is.

CHICCHAN awakens the Sixth Sense we can feel. It’s a day to pay attention to gut feelings and sensations in the body. We can bring them to Life through an Application of Consciousness. The Gifts that seem so subtle become more Powerful as they are Seen and Acknowledged. Like the Seed/Dragon, CHICCHAN holds a Spiritual Gift of “Seeing Clearly.”

Today is the Global Burner, a release of pent up energy. All Global Burners are on Tone 4 of Stability (4 Sun/AHAU, 4 Eagle/MEN, 4 Dog/OC, and 4 Serpent/CHICCHAN).  The Maya observe Global Burners with Sacred Fire Ceremonies, for the purpose of restoring Harmony in the Community. Each season offers a day for coming together in a Mutual Intention of Harmony.

10 Serpent / CHICCHAN – Application of Our Spiritual Nature: Day 10 of 13

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S BLOG

10 Serpent / CHICCHAN

Greetings Kin,

A Manifestation of Spirit…

Tone 10 is the day of Manifestation. We are offered the “Spiritual Gift” of Manifesting what we claim.

We started with a Divine Inspiration about a new way of Being. We dreamed of the Power we might hold if we were Spiritually Gifted, and able to use those Gifts for the purpose of living a Life that we could experience as Happy and Whole.

The work of our Spiritual Growth was holding Faith that we possessed these Gifts and could figure out how to use them. We took it from an Inspiration to an Intention by Choosing to reach for it and to draw upon our own Consciousness to See it.

Serpent/CHICCHAN brings a gift that is worthy of our effort… the “lightning in the blood” that ignites all our Spiritual Gifts of Knowing. CHICCHAN offers the “feeling” of Spirit in the body through our blood. The snake is highly attuned to vibration. It’s means of survival depends on it’s Consciousness of the Vibrations it feels through its closeness to Mother Earth. A snake can shed it’s skin to become something greater than it was before.

Residing in the 11th uinal, our Transformation is held under an Intention of Higher Consciousness. We have been prepared to Know our Meaning and Purpose. CHICCHAN is one and the same as Kulkulkan and Quetzalcóatl the Feathered Serpent, the Light that descends down the steps at the pyramid of Chichen Itza. This is a day of Light Coming Down to see what we can claim. In the Tzolk’in harvest cycle of Becoming, we are in Full Bloom, creating the Seeds of Intention that will be born through the Fruit of our Spirit.

9 Serpent / CHICCHAN – Journey of Discovery: Day 9 of 13

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

9 Serpent / CHICCHAN

Greetings Kin,

Tone 9 holds the Intention of Patience for the purpose of seeing the bigger picture. Tones 8-13 represent our phase of Transformation. Our own effort toward Spiritual Growth teaches us something new. Transformation is the process of turning a new understanding in to a personal Truth. Truth is something we can use and apply to our everyday discernment. We are changed, and so is our world, by a new perception of its underlying Truth.

Just as Seed helped us to see our identity as a physical being, and that to grow to our full potential, we must cultivate a nurturing environment. Serpent/CHICCHAN helps us see that at the heart of our True Identity is a Seed of pure Spirit. We are Spiritual Beings living in a realm of physicality.

PORTAL DAY: Element of Ether  – Portal days help us see beyond the veil to other dimensions and magnify our experiences of Spirit. Portals have the power to Awaken our Spiritual Gifts. All our supernatural gifts, like Intuition, Telepathy, and Clairvoyance, are common for their characteristic of Knowing. A Portal will magnify the Truth of CHICCHAN, an influential energy of Spirit within.  A Portal will help us look deeper to complete a Higher Consciousness of this Truth.
