The New Moon August 12 began the Lunar Cycle of the Full Sturgeon Moon. The Full Moon occurs on Friday, August 28th. The cycle represents a time of Abundance when the fish were plentiful. By Chinese tradition it’s also known as the “Hungry Ghost Moon” – evil spirits driven by an insatiable want for more. (The Sturgeon population, once teaming, has been diminished by those that kill them for their eggs/caviar.) In synchronicity with the Aztec calendar, Water/ATL (aka MULUC) is a time of emotional turbulence.
