The Elders say…

Greetings Beloved Kin,

In the beginning of my journal, I often quoted what “Minisa says.” By her words she encouraged me to say, “the Elders say.” It honors the long line of Sacred Wisdom passed down through generations of Grandfathers and Grandmothers, preserved as our Divine Inheritance. This morning she shared the art that honors her Lightning Clan, and I am drawn to share healing ways of the Elders that can serve us well in these Times.

Minisa always said that it takes courage to follow a path of transformation. Our souls are cracked open when we face the Truth. Every breakthrough is a breakdown of an attachment to a Dream of the world we long to be the Truth. Change is a journey of blood, sweat, and tears.

The wild berries of Spring are honored as the first harvest, tended by the Hand of God. Berries are among the superfoods on the planet. Food was scarce by the end of Winter. They were a miracle to be found,  the first offering to a New Life.

Minisa (men ‘ee sa) is a my closest living Kin. She shared the Truth of a Living Earth with Words that held their weight. She is also one of a handful of the indigenous Elders who holds the Wisdom of the Potawatomi language.

The Longhouse in Spring

She has been called to share the wisdom, creation stories and sacred traditions passed down by her Grandfathers and Grandmothers.

An accomplished artist, author, and videographer in her own right, Minisa is the daughter of renowned artist Woody Crumbo.

Happy Haab New Year, 1 Wind/IK!

1 Wind/IK represents the Sovereignty of the Word. Revealing the Truth is an Act of God with the Power to change the landscape of our lives. The Maya named the Power of the Word Huracan.

There are no worldly powers great enough to turn the Truth around. We can deny, twist, or stretch the Truth. Though, truth is eternal.  The Alpha and the Omega is the Truth that Was, Is, and Forever Shall Be.

Matthew 5:18 KJV
18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

The Haab New Year’s Day is based on the alignment of the Zenithal Sun. By Human’s calendar we ascended that last trecena guided by the Sign of the Offering of the Christ Spirit. Higher and Lower orders of Time fall in synchronicity with this season of Resurrection. Signs are for the future. Easter Sunday marks the Date of the fulfillment of the Word.

We were given Signs beyond the Word to discern that the end is near. We never know the Hour of the Coming of the Lord. We can only stand on the Truth every Hour to be left standing on the Day of the Lord. The glyph illustrates the “T” portals carved in Stone. They direct the Eye to See and magnify the Sound of the Wind for the Ear to Hear.
