Vision Quest: A Provision from Above (4 Earth/CABAN)

The Perspective of Time and Place

The Heron lives a life of perpetual migration. CABAN represents the Clarion Call that begins every Great Migration on Earth. In the Spring from the 4 winds the Heron gather in the San Hills of Nebraska, where waters flow and fields of corn offer abundance.

The Creator is One with the Forces of Nature. At his command we are Drawn to our Time and Place. On the Day of the Lord the children of the Lord will be drawn from the 4 corners of Earth, to the New Jerusalem. God’s Sanctuary is a Kingdom within.

Isaiah 11:11-12
11 In that day the Lord will extend his hand yet a second time to recover the remnant that remains of his people, from Assyria, from Egypt, from Pathros, from Cush, from Elam, from Shinar, from Hamath, and from the coastlands of the sea.
12 He will raise a signal for the nations and will assemble the banished of Israel, and gather the dispersed of Judah
from the four corners of the earth.

Humans experience life from a 2D perspective. Our first impression is a comparison between one thing and another. God offers an unlimited perspective through Time. We can see a bigger picture when we look from 4 different directions by the Light of the 4 Seasons. 7 is the symbol of completion. God offered 7 directions including the up above, the down below, and the Center within. We’re designed for it. When given a 3D object, we inspect it from all angles, including the meaning and purpose within.

The Intention of a Vision Quest is to see things from the Creator’s perspective. God can move us to the Time and Place where we belong and God shines a Light on what we’re intended to see.

Revelation 3:12 NIV
12 The one who is victorious I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will they leave it. I will write on them the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on them my new name.

Greetings Beloved Kin,

4 Earth / CABAN

Earth/CABAN represents Forces of Nature through which God directs our Time and Place. The Aztec define Ollin (the Mayan Day named CABAN) as a Time of the “purified heart” when we “identify” who we are becoming.

Everything there is to know we learn from Life on Mother Earth. Moved by the Hand of God, she carries us through Time. The Cherokee Heron is a symbol of the Phoenix that rises from the Ashes of the past.

The Intention of a Vision Quest is to identify who we are by the Spirit and to realize a Higher Truth we’ve never seen before.

The glyph illustrates the 3 thoughts that lead to Divine Discernment. From the East, the straight like is Human’s first thought of objective consciousness, “what is it?” The straight line leads to the wavy line where through the faculty of our imagine we consider “what’s the meaning?” The rising circles lead to the Truth Above. The Truth lies beyond human understanding.

Tone 4 holds the Intention of Stability. We establish a way forward by setting the “rules of the game” in the beginning.

Think more than once. When we think we “see what it is” – think again. When we consider what it means, remember every detail matters to the Creator. Every experience is worth seeing more than once. We can look through every possible lens and filter of Time and Place. Even when we “think we know” we never know it all.

God is the Source of all Truth and Wisdom. Knowing is a matter of Divine Timing and a Divine Order.

Matthew 7:7 KJV – Ask, Seek, Knock
7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

Isaiah 43:18-19
18 “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.
19 See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?

love, in lak’ech, i am another you

PRAYERS FROM THE FIFTH WATCH
May we remember those suffering through the cold of winter. May we call on the Lord to be with them through the darkness… and Give Thanks – he answers before we say Amen.

The next time you’re Called to Pray, refer to the 8 Watches by the Time of Day. You may discover it was the reason for your prayers. The Bible refers to Watchers from Above (‘iyr in Hebrew) in Daniel 4:13, 17, 23. We’re called by high-ranking angelic beings sent from heaven to observe and execute divine decrees. “Behold, he that keepeth our Soul shall neither slumber nor sleep.”

THE EIGHT WATCHES

Night Watch

  • First Watch: 6 pm – 9 pm – Contemplation and laying foundations in prayer.
  • Second Watch: 9 pm – 12 am – Intercessory prayer for protection of ourselves and those around us
  • Third Watch: 12 am – 3 am – Spiritual warfare (We are covered by the blood of Jesus.)
  • Fourth Watch: 3 am – 6 am – Prophetic prayer because you are commanding your morning with prophetic decrees and declaring God’s word

Day Watch

  • Fifth Watch: 6 am – 9 am – Petitions. Ask for strength and surrender. Ask for the Holy Spirit to help you before you start your day
  • Sixth Watch: 9 am – 12 pm – Thanksgiving prayer
  • Seventh Watch : 12 pm – 3 pm – This is the seventh watch of rest. 7 Biblically represents that. This is a time to seek God in the secret place
  • Eighth Watch: 3 pm – 6 pm – This is the eight and final watch of the night and a time for prayer for revival and renewal. Symbolically, Christ died at 3 pm.

Descriptions by Ian Xel Lungold (12 Sun/AHAU), wisdom and Tzolk’in calculator preserved on MayanMajix.com

Galactic Tone 4: Stability; the cube is most stable of all forms and establishes volume by definition of height, length, depth and breadth; 4 directions establish orientation. The energy of 4 sets the parameters, which establish the freedoms and barriers needed to create a game, work, or relationship.

Earth/Caban: Earth/Caban: Keeper of the garden of Earth. Profound synchronistic connections to Earth’s natural cycles and energies provide power of creations and memories of ancient wisdom. Earth persons help dispel bad intentions, habits and ideas. This makes them very good counselors and masters of all arts. Studious and intelligent, Earth persons endeavor to bring a flow of natural order to all aspects of life. Being connected to the dynamic forces of nature, Earth persons need much liberty to facilitate their expression of migration or the sending of long distance communications such as the whales, elephants, birds and many other creatures. Sometimes Earth’s delicate sensitivities are upset resulting in quakes of emotion even the display of volcanic temper.

A GOOD DAY TO: Give thanks to Mother Earth for all her gifts.

Cherokee, Heron/GUWI’SGUWI: Sign of movement, of perpetual motion, recycling, regeneration; environmentalists fighting for the underdog. Heron is mentally alert, rational, yet opinionated; has a great faith in people and in the divine plan, holding the magic of ministry, medicine, marketing and matchmaking; healing abilities, especially with crystals; negotiation and mediation energy. Heron is symbolized by Deneb, located in the Northern Cross beside the Milky Way.

Name: The name Deneb comes from Arabic and means “tail of the hen”.
Location: Deneb is the brightest star in Cygnus and the 19th brightest star in the night sky.
