9 Wind/IK – Vision Quest: Day 9

Greetings Kin,

9 Wind/IK

9 Wind/IK

Our Vision Quest is a spiritual pilgrimage guided by Jaguar/IX, the Day Sign that began this 13-day trecena. Jaguar/IX is the energy that guards the sacred sites and temples, and holds the ancient memories of the sacred Vision Quests from all time.

Wind/IK is the Holy Communion with Spirit upon reaching our destination. Here we lay down our burden and we are received by God as the beloved.

Galactic Tone 9: Patience. The energy of Nine is one of the getting a better perspective of the bigger picture. With the energy of Nine plans or patterns begin to come to completion. Nine requires patience and perseverance that is found in the bigger picture, otherwise there is great suffering from the lack of insight. The completion of cycles of action is all-important to Nine.

Wind/IK: Breath of Spirit, breath of life. Winds embody the power of dissemination and planting of good seeds or ideas. Dreamers and planners with powerful imaginations, Wind persons make great orators and they spread the word of spiritual inspiration as it is carried by the wind. Wind is the power behind the movement of natural cycles such as weather, erosion, and cultural change. As the wind, these persons are extremely changeable and adaptable. They may appear inconsistent or fickle to others. Wind can be destructive to self and others by putting on airs. When Winds strut and boast, expanding on facts and accomplishments, they are building the dark clouds of trouble that may become hurricanes.

On the Tzolk’in “Galactic Butterfly” 9 Wind/IK is KIN 22, “Galactic Activation Portal” that magnifies what you focus on and opens a channel to Spirit. You may have more intense feelings. You or people around you may exhibit more sensitive behavior. You may experience an intuition or knowing.

Vision Quest: Day 9

Sanctuario de Chimayo, Chimayo, New Mexico

Sanctuario de Chimayo, Chimayo, New Mexico

The Spiritual Power held in all sacred sites comes from the memories of the sacred intentions of the prayers that are brought there.

Years ago I visited the Sanctuario de Chimayo, a small adobe church in Northern New Mexico. For 200 years, it’s been the tradition of tens of thousands of people to walk to this site for Good Friday. Some walk for hundreds of miles, some bare-footed, and some carrying crosses. The site is believed to be a place of Holy ground. One can’t go there without feeling connected to the memories of the people and prayers that have journeyed there from so many directions, each with their own dream and intention to be brought closer to God.

Wind/IK symbolizes the breath of life and the sacred breath of Spirit. We are all connected in the sacred breath of our prayers. Galactic Tone 9 awakens us as we approach the final days of our Vision Quest.

To all my relations, may we be grateful that Spirit has called us to make this journey. May we consecrate a sacred place in our hearts to be received into the joy of our highest consciousness. May we honor all the memories of the Spiritual Pilgrimages that have gone before.

in lak’ech, i am another you

NEW POST: Minisa Crumbo, 1 Wind/IK
For 9 Wind/IK, Minisa Crumbo, 1 Wind/IK, initiates us into the beginning of the new life of Spring with a teaching on our own Sacred Breath.

Visit the 13-Day Trecena Guidefor practical suggestions and traditional prayers and ceremony,

I am always interested to hear how others experience the energy of the day. CAUAC and AHAU were more challenging than I expected – and presented issues of urgency for new solutions.  IMIX energies still felt intense, but more in the way of amplified receptivity/sensitivity. How about you?
