3 Wind/IK
Sun/AHAU is magnifying the Light on our journey to a personal awakening. We are able to see beyond the illusions around us and within.
We have seen the worst of behavior in the world and the fears we seldom face are being exposed to the Light.
On Tone 3, the first movement of the trecena brings the Day Sign of Sacred Breath. Wind/IK carries the power of healing Light. We connect to all that is through our breath and can use it to draw in the Light for our own healing.

9 Wind/IK
Our Vision Quest is a spiritual pilgrimage guided by Jaguar/IX, the Day Sign that began this 13-day trecena. Jaguar/IX is the energy that guards the sacred sites and temples, and holds the ancient memories of the sacred Vision Quests from all time.
Wind/IK is the Holy Communion with Spirit upon reaching our destination. Here we lay down our burden and we are received by God as the beloved.
7 Wind/IK
Galactic Tone 7: Reflective. Seven stands as a mirror to divide light and dark and to reflect all that is and is not. Seven is associated with the source of creation and the flow of divine will. With a keen sense of ethics, Seven establishes purpose to current and future goals.
Wind/IK: Breath of Spirit, breath of life. Winds embody the power of dissemination and planting of good seeds or ideas. Dreamers and planners with powerful imaginations, Wind persons make great orators and they spread the word of spiritual inspiration as it is carried by the wind. Wind is the power behind the movement of natural cycles such as weather, erosion, and cultural change. As the wind, these persons are extremely changeable and adaptable. They may appear inconsistent or fickle to others. Wind can be destructive to self and others by putting on airs. When Winds strut and boast, expanding on facts and accomplishments, they are building the dark clouds of trouble that may become hurricanes.
Cherokee, Whirlwind/AGALU’GA: Whirlwind’s symbol is a double spiral helix in rising smoke. Wind brings energy for an Inquiring mind, learning and wisdom. In Cherokee, the constellations are represented by 12 birds (dancers), the 13th bird is the Whirlwind, the lead dancer. This reflects the whirling of life. Wind is the breath of the Universe (matching the Mayan symbol) channel of communication and carries the Sacred Smoke to the Great Spirit (Source- Hunab Ku in Mayan); matches the pulse of the breath of the Cosmos.
As we are guided by Wisdom/CIB, Day Sign Wind brings energy for an inquiring mind. Tone 7 guides us to reflect on the Divine Will of the Creator. To be aligned with Divine Will requires us to surrender.
Surrender means that we completely give up our own will to subject our thoughts, ideas, and deeds to the will and teachings of a higher authority. Only by yielding our own will can our divine purpose be revealed.
To release our control requires our faith. Through faith in something greater than ourselves, we can find the peace of acceptance. Things don’t have to happen exactly as we have imagined. We are opened to something far better as we no longer have to rely on our own understanding.
When we submit to Divine Will, we may have confidence that our footsteps are guided, no matter where our paths may lead.
To all my relations, help me to let go of my worldly desires. Help me to surrender my dreams and fears into the loving hands of the Creator so I may find peace and direction.
