MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
Now is an important time to believe in miracles. What we focus on will be magnified. Like gratitude, the more we acknowledge our blessings, the more they grow.
Galactic Tone 3 is the first day of movement of our Spiritual Quickening trecena of Serpent/CHICCHAN. Chicchan focuses the intentions of this cycle on the action of mind, heart and Spirit.
The glyph of Deer/MANIK is described as illustrating a hand with the thumb and forefinger grasping the spark of life that connects our past, present and future.
This is the second of 10 Green Kins in progression that introduces a Galactic Activation Portal and a thinning of the veil.
THE TRECENA OF SERPENT/CHICCHAN
3 Deer/MANIK (Cherokee, Deer/Ahwu’sdi)
Galactic Tone 3: Action. Three is basic movement and communication, which begins as a vibration. Three energy is very eloquent in all types of self-expression. Communication is how Three establishes a point of agreement between any point “A” and any point “B”. Three persons are rhythmic to the core and are often restless, as motion is their nature. By working closely with the energy of Three, any person becomes more able to predict motions of all kinds.
Deer/MANIK (Hand): Deer are spirit tools. Silence itself is a spiritual experience for Deer. For Deer life is a pilgrimage. Deer are dominant persons who defend the people and will make sacrifices for others. The spirit of Deer upholds the pillars of the four directions. With the power inherent in the number four, Deer pushes away bad influences or negative energies. Skill and quality of work are very important to Deer. They are presented with tools for every task in life and it is with these that they are able to rise above limitations. Deer has a habit of keeping every tool it has ever used. This leads to clutter and indecision, loss and procrastination. When confronted with promises not kept, Deer becomes stubborn, manipulative and evasive.
Cherokee, Deer/Ahwu’sdi: Symbolized by Constellation Galagina, the Stag, known as Taurus, the Bull. It does not include the Pleiades and Hyades clusters which in Cherokee are viewed as separate. To feed, gatherers of food and supplies, they enjoy rituals, ceremonials, feasts, the souls of hospitality, sociability. Freedom versus security issues often inspire leadership and unique solutions. Combined with artistic and inspiring energies in harmony with lunar cycles, they nourish the clans. Totem-Deer: A priest or shaman, a powerful person in general, to overwhelm an individual with one’s personal power, divination; inclined to become a teacher, healer, guru, civic leader, or politician. Ability to create harmonic resonance.
GREEN KIN ELEMENT OF ETHER
Today is Kin 107. Tzolk’in Chart illustrates Kin 106 thru Kin 115 as “Galactic Activation Portal” days. This energy magnifies what you focus on and opens a channel to Spirit. You may have more intense feelings. You or people around you may exhibit more sensitive behavior. You may experience an intuition or knowing.
Spiritual Quickening: Day 3
Deer stands silently in its own power and defends itself and community through the Spiritual Tool of Vigilance. We are drawn to a higher consciousness through a process of thought, contemplation, remembering, projecting, and expanding our awareness of Spirit.
Deer /MANIK also holds the power of Harmonic Resonance. The ability to broadcast a vibration field of Love is a Spiritual Tool we are given. We can expand it to touch the lives of all we direct it to.
Deer/MANIK is the sign of the Mayan Priest, an agent of God with the purpose to serve the people. Though this trecena calls us to make time to spend in solitude, our prayers are not meant to be for ourselves alone. The veil that has been pulled aside reveals that we are One in the same struggles of the world. The highest intention for our prayers will be for the protection and happiness of all mankind.
The encouragement to look to the past and into the future is a very important teaching. This is the reason much importance is given to maintaining a journal. When we keep track of our experience our miracles become more evident. We may also recall our miracles from the past.
We have the power to create our own miracles. Just as our fear and doubt are self-created illusions, we can just as easily create the images of the positive outcomes we desire.
Disruption and chaos is a necessary part of change, which is a reallocation of matter and energy. Let our immediate response to our challenges be to call them “Blessings in Disguise.” Like water that has been stirred up, the clear reflection is seen only after the balance has returned. Science has already proven that that our thoughts have impact on the movement of matter. We have unknown power to affect where all the pieces might land.
To all my relations, may we believe in the supernatural power of our own Spirit. May we anchor our faith in the moment and with every care and concern, send a signal that it is released into God’s hands and recognized as the source of a blessing. May we acknowledge, bless, and track the miracles in our lives, that they may be magnified and multiplied.
