MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
True understanding can be seen as that moment when head knowledge moves to the heart. It’s a moment when we comprehend the implications of what we have learned to be true. Tone 12 brings us the gift for retrospection. We have a spiritual rear-view mirror that presents us with an accurate reflection. Through a gift of discernment we can experience a “knowing” of what is true.
Muluc symbolizes the Holiness and trans-formative properties that can be held by water. Just as our Spirit is suspended in the fluid of our body, so can Spirit be held in the presence of all water. Masaru Emoto is famous for his research that demonstrated that conscious thought was capable to change the molecular structure of water.
Muluc symbolizes water everywhere from the cosmos to our tears. We are made of Holy Water that responds to and is changed by the conscious thoughts we hold. The glyph reminds us that a single drop has the power to carry waves of Spirit out from its center.
THE TRECENA OF FLINT/ETZNAB
12 Offering/MULUC (Cherokee, Rabbit/NOQUI’SEGWA)
Galactic Tone 12: Understanding. This number’s energy is a gift of great capability of retrospection. It is this ability that allows Twelve to connect disassociated parts into a (new) functioning whole. The energy of Twelve is that which presents a new piece of understood information or accumulated experience to be applied.
Offering/MULUC: Also known as the sign of water. Ceremonially, Maya use water as an offering in baptisms and purification. These ceremonies are done to bring about a collective strength, adaptability and harmony. In sincere appreciation, Offering people gladly give more than they ask for themselves. Offering persons are dynamic communicators with great intelligence making them excellent employers. Like a shaken vessel of water, Offering people regain equilibrium quickly. Also like a body of water, there may be deep undercurrents of emotion and hidden dangers. Others perceive these as hidden agendas in offering people and so extend them little trust and may even slap blame on them.
Cherokee, The River/YUN’WI GUNNAHI’TA: The River is symbolized by The Milky Way, the Gihli’Utsun’stanun’yi “Where the Dog Ran” to gather the souls for Heaven. The River is the minion for Grandfather Moon. Long Man is the personification of the River stretching from the mountains to the lowlands, speaking to those who can understand. People of this sign find “sermons in the stones” and good in everything. These souls march to a different drummer, driven by inner volcanic forces. The Moon controls our fluid cycle, to clear and understand emotional issues. When you take this step to clear the emotional body, then you are ready for transformational energies at the next level. As humans, our actions are ruled by our emotions, the key is to understand the connection and honor the emotions.
Womb of Re-Creation Day 12
The Most Holy is the water of our own tears. Our emotions are a Language of Spirit. They are a physical response that draws our attention to an inner calling of Spirit. Without words, our feelings are capable to communicate everything that needs to be said.
Water is seen as the medium through which we are able to receive blessings, healing, purification, and atonement with God. May we offer both our tears of joy and sorrow so we might receive the blessing for every part of who we are.
We are nearing the zero point at the center of the Galactic Butterfly. The caterpillars that we were, have been totally deconstructed. We make an offering of ourselves. As we are ready to die to the old, we can dissolve into the magical fluid where the butterfly will begin to take form.
To all my relations, may we surrender ourselves as an offering that we may be recreated as a perfect incarnation of God’s intented creation. May we hold the gratitude and peace of knowing we are carried upon the waters of Spirit.
