12 Offering/MULUC – Womb of Re-Creation Day 12

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

12 Offering/MULUC

12 Offering/MULUC

Greetings Kin,

True understanding can be seen as that moment when head knowledge moves to the heart. It’s a moment when we comprehend the implications of what we have learned to be true. Tone 12 brings us the gift for retrospection. We have a spiritual rear-view mirror that presents us with an accurate reflection. Through a gift of discernment we can experience a “knowing” of what is true.

Muluc symbolizes the Holiness and trans-formative properties that can be held by water.  Just as our Spirit is suspended in the fluid of our body, so can Spirit be held in the presence of all water.  Masaru Emoto is famous for his research that demonstrated that conscious thought was capable to change the molecular structure of water.

Muluc symbolizes water everywhere from the cosmos to our tears. We are made of Holy Water that responds to and is changed by the conscious thoughts we hold. The glyph reminds us that a single drop has the power to carry waves of Spirit out from its center.

8 Serpent/CHICCHAN – Womb of Creation Day 8

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

8 Serpent/CHICCHAN

8 Serpent/CHICCHAN

Greetings Kin,

“Serpent lights the fuse that magnifies and explodes the life force itself.” Cherokee Calendar

We are ignited to fulfill our life’s purpose by the consciousness of Spirit in the body. Serpent/ CHICCHAN serves as a catalyst to fire our supernatural senses that the Maya call “lightening in the blood.” This is a subtle, yet powerful energy that offers us the Sixth Sense of Spirit.

Numbers 8 and 9 have a particularly sacred meaning to the Maya. The Quiche/Maya of Guatemala hold their most important festivals on these days. Tone 8 is defined as a Solar Number of Pure Spirit, and 8 Serpent/CHICCHAN (Kaan, in the Mayan/Quiche language) is recognized as a Holy Day of Spiritual Strength.

7 Seed/KAN – Womb of Re-Creation Day 7

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

7 Seed/KAN

7 Seed/KAN

Greetings Kin,

We were guided by Tone 6 to surrender to the timing and flow of Divine Will. At Tone 7 our adjustment is complete and we are in full synchronicity with the Divine Flow. Within the Divine Flow our movement is not restricted by judgement or resistance.

Seed/KAN reminds us of our connection to the Earth and our relationship to one another. We are creations made from the same fundamental elements.

All the conditions are right for a magical transformation when the connection is made between Earth and Seed. So it is when our Spirits recognize our connection with one another.

6 Night/AKBAL – Womb of Re-Creation Day 6

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

6 Night/AKBAL

6 Night/AKBAL

Greetings Kin,

Most often the things we fear in the dark are revealed as illusion when we turn on the light. Akbal brings the light to dispel our fears born of darkness and the unknown.  Akbal can bring comfort as a sense of a welcome relief.

At Tone 6 the momentum of our own movement is combined with the energy of our new intention. It takes less effort to make the same strides forward.  We enter the peak energy of this trecena falling in step with the Divine Pace of our re-creation.

6 Night/AKBAL encourages us to take things at their own easy pace and to listen for Divine Inspiration that may be revealed to us in our dreams.

5 Wind/IK – Womb of Re-Creation Day 5

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

5 Wind/IK

5 Wind/IK

Greetings Kin,

At the moment of our birth the world stands still waiting for the evidence of our very first breath. Through breath our lives are animated into being. The Latin origin of the word “animate” literally means “to give breath to.”

5 Wind/IK reminds us that the power for our re-creation comes from the Breath of Spirit, which is the Voice of God. Just as God breathed us into being, as Sparks of the Divine Spirit we hold the power to create (and destroy) through the spoken word.

4 Crocodile/IMIX – Womb of Creation Day 4

4 Crocodile/IMIX

4 Crocodile/IMIX

Greetings Kin,

Tone 4 brings the stabilizing force for our regeneration. In this trecena of self-becoming, we enter the womb of the core days anchored by the Love of our primordial mother, Crocodile/IMIX.

The core days represent a time of personal mystery. We are brought into the presence of our original creation where our Spirit of Consciousness was brought into the world. It’s one thing to consider the wonder of our physical creation, but the birth of our Soul’s connection to the body is by far the greater miracle. IMIX leads this 20-day uinal cycle of core days to share the Divine Consciousness that was witness to our initial creation.

3 Sun/AHAU – Womb of Re-Creation Day 3

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

3 sun

3 Sun/AHAU

Greetings Kin,

I used to think that being an “idea person” had some special merit, fancying myself as someone with a lot of bright ideas. I held the notion that all that was needed was some outside management – some third party who would propel my ideas into being. (I’d hate to admit how long I nurtured this concept… my most disempowering idea ever.)

WE are the ones we are waiting for. The initial movement and action is required of US because the dreams with the potential to be brought to life are the ones WE love enough to take action on OURSELVES.

We hold the very important seed that contains all the possibilities inherent in our design. Our most important movement will be an act of Love. 3 Sun/AHAU brings to Light what has been hidden from our consciousness and connects us to the wisdom of our ancestors as we set our re-creation into motion.
