6 Star / LAMAT – Dreams Come True

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

6 Star / LAMAT

6 Star / LAMAT

Greetings Kin,

Star/LAMAT is a Day Sign of “pure luck.” The magic of Star/LAMAT is that whatever we focus on will be multiplied to abundance. This is a day to be grateful for our blessings.

Tone 6 leads us into the peak days of this trecena. The intention of 6 is to help us establish a flow of correspondence and movement. We are guided to see that our talks with Spirit are meant to be a two-way conversation.

I’ve been hard to convince at times of my own Spiritual Experiences. While something feels like much more than a coincidence, I can also rationalize it away. These are lost opportunities, and inspiration meant to be explored more deeply. It may take a collection of experiences to realize our Truth of Spirit. Over time, they add up.

Some of our deepest experiences can’t be shared. Mere words can’t explain them, and in our attempts to try – something of the power is lost in the translation. For at least a time, we can hold them to ourselves, like precious jewels for our eyes only. There is power in a private conversation.

When we hold and re-experience our connections to Spirit, they can be reborn with new inspiration. Just as we might relive old stories with friends, we often remember something new. We can spend time recalling our Highest Experiences with Spirit. This would be a worthy focus worth multiplying.

My description of Star/LAMAT energy is “jumpy” and high-energy – and, totem Rabbit is the trickster in the Cherokee tradition. (Go easy on the caffeine.) Setting intentions early and surrendering to Divine Will is good way to start the day. On a day so ripe with potential, we are responsible for paying attention to our thoughts.

Star represents the South, our relationships with one another and the Earth. This is a day to seek right relationship with ourselves and others. We can hold the image of ourselves standing in strength and power, and use Star’s magic to Create a Miracle for someone else.

To all my relations, may we remember our own answered prayers – times when the answer was unexpected, times when we opened a book to read exactly what we needed to hear, or times when we were led by our own intuition. As we recall our Deepest Memories of Spirit, may they be multiplied to abundance.

in lak’ech, I am another you

THE TRECENA OF NIGHT/AKBAL

6 Star/LAMAT (Cherokee, Rabbit/NOQUI’SEGWA), Kin 188

Galactic Tone 6: Flow. Six is responsiveness, and the art of negotiation. It is the movement of volume through space that creates time. This energy in action is like the art of dance or a great athlete in motion. Six facilitates dynamic developments in all aspects of life.

Star/LAMAT: Star energy is multiplication of all things to abundance. Star has been associated with the fertility of rabbits for its ability to multiply. As each sun in the sky, Star persons shine equally in all directions. This natural tendency of harmony and balance can become compulsion, motivating Star to be too agreeable and too generous, rejected gifts cause fear and resentment. When a Star believes it has been given too much, they are weakened or may even collapse. In this “Black Hole” state, Stars are prone to verbal jousting and arguing to force their point of view on everyone.

Cherokee, Rabbit/NOQUI’SEGWA: Symbol-Venus, The Morning Star cycle of 260 days and Evening Star cycle of another 260 days, inspired the 13 numbers, 20 Day sign Sacred Calendar.  Rabbit is the Trickster of Cherokee culture, matching the Coyote in other nations.  The personification of Light and New Life, Sunrise, the scion of the Moon-Father of earth children, the Rabbit is fertility, be fruitful and multiply.  Represents softness, gentleness and vulnerability. LAMAT– Totem Rabbit.  Energies of re-birth, regeneration, ripening, harvest and abundance.  This person is overflowing with love energy in all areas of life.  Spiritual growth is natural and with ease due to the unconditional love energy that flows.

NEW DAY KEEPERS: My sacred intention for the new Tzolk’in round is to offer more personal support to those who may want to learn more about ways to draw personal meaning from the calendar. I will be offering an Introductory Guided Course for Day Keepers in the near future. Contact me if this is something you would be interested in! Also, if you’d just like help identifying your Day Sign, I’m more than happy to help. Blessings, in lak’ech Debra (debra.malmos@gmail.com)

  1. You touched the deeper regions of my soul on this one, Debra. Specifically, these lines: “We are guided to see that our talks with Spirit are meant to be a two-way conversation.

    wado.
