7 Offering / MULUC – Dreams Come True

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

7 Offering / MULUC

7 Offering / MULUC

Greetings Kin,

7 Offering/MULUC has the power to touch our deepest emotions and bring them into our consciousness. Seven is the Tone of Reflection and Spirit. With a deeper clarity of vision we are capable to see that the world is not the true source of our suffering. Instead, Muluc reveals that our sorrow is born from within, where we may be stuck – believing that we are powerless, unworthy, or somehow not enough.

Muluc offers a Way through Sacred Ceremony to dissolve our feelings of separation and to bring new healing through purification. We are empowered to create our own ceremony. We have the power to create something sacred… for what we call sacred is SO, only by our own definition. That which we approach as sacred focuses all our attention into the present moment where we can create an enduring memory of our connection to Spirit.

GREEN DAY: 7 Offering/MULUC is Kin 189, a Portal Day, a time when the veil is thin between the dimensions of Spirit. We are empowered with a greater sensitivity to Spirit and realize our own Spirit Gifts of knowing and intuition.

Galactic Tone 7 is a balancing point at the top of the pyramid. We can gather our thoughts and restore our footing – our focus on our own sacred intention – as momentum prepares to shift into the descending flow of transformation. Sacred Ceremony is a gift of correspondence that blesses both receiver and giver through an act of humility, thanksgiving, and surrender. We demonstrate a Sacred Bond with Spirit and Divine our own Spiritual Experience.

Muluc reminds us of Baptism as the a sacred ceremony of ritual bathing. Water is the medium capable of holding the Ether of Spirit. As water pours over us, we can call forth Water as the Descending Light of Spirit, acknowledging it as Holy Water, our Source of Healing, Renewal and Purification. A traditional way given was to use the words “Ta t’se clo ee ee eh.” As we receive the Light, we can hold the vision of being made new.  During the trecena of Dreams, this could be a worthy way to prepare for the Dreamtime. We might take special care to prepare our bed, layout new bed clothes, and fill the room with the comforting smells of Lavender, Sweetgrass and Sage, or Roses, that we might carry the memory of our Nearness to Spirit into our Dreams.

At Tone 7, we can acknowledge that we are positioned in a High and Holy place where we are near our Creator. Under the trecena of Night/AKBAL we are guided by the unseen forces from the great beyond. We are free to make our own choices on how we may bring all which needs to be healed into Sacred Ceremony for Purification.

As we are returned to wholeness, we are empowered to see the stories that define us with a new understanding. We can move beyond our sorrow, to see how every experience has provided a source for empowerment as Blessings in Disguise. “When you take this step to clear the emotional body, then you are ready for transformational energies at the next level.”

To all my relations, may we make a Sacred Offering as our gift to the Unseen Spirit that guides our journey to wholeness. May we have the courage to Feel what needs to be Healed as we draw Spirit to us for a Blessing and Purification.

in lak’ech, I am another you

THE TRECENA OF NIGHT/AKBAL

7 Offering/MULUC (Cherokee, The River/YUN’WI GUNNAHI’TA), Kin 189

Galactic tone 7: Reflective. Seven stands as a mirror to divide light and dark and to reflect all that is and is not. Seven is associated with the source of creation and the flow of divine will. With a keen sense of ethics, seven establishes purpose to current and future goals.

Offering/MULUC: Also known as the sign of water. Ceremonially, Maya use water as an offering in baptisms and purifications. These ceremonies are done to bring about a collective strength, adaptability and harmony. In sincere appreciation, Offering people gladly give more than they ask for themselves. Offering persons are dynamic communicators with great intelligence making them excellent employers. Like a shaken vessel of water, Offering people regain equilibrium quickly. Also like a body of water, there may be deep undercurrents of emotion and hidden dangers. Others perceive these as hidden agendas in offering people and so extend them little trust and may even slap blame on them.

Cherokee, The River/YUN’WI GUNNAHI’TA  BO EO  IW:  The River is symbolized by The Milky Way, the Gihli’Utsun’stanun’yi “Where the Dog Ran” to gather the souls for Heaven.  The River is the minion for Grandfather Moon.  Long Man is the personification of the River stretching from the mountains to the lowlands, speaking to those who can understand.  People of this sign find “sermons in the stones” and good in everything.  These souls march to a different drummer, driven by inner volcanic forces.  The River is the “Fountain of Life” and represents the fluid of the cosmos to fluids in the body, with the energy to clear all karmic debts, personally and on a mass level with fluidity and grace.  The Moon controls our fluid cycle, to clear and understand emotional issues.  When you take this step to clear the emotional body, then you are ready for transformational energies at the next level.  As humans, our actions are ruled by our emotions, the key is to understand the connection and honor the emotions.

NEW DAY KEEPERS: My sacred intention for the new Tzolk’in round is to offer more personal support to those who may want to learn more about ways to draw personal meaning from the calendar. I will be offering an Introductory Guided Course for Day Keepers in the near future. Contact me if this is something you would be interested in! Also, if you’d just like help identifying your Day Sign, I’m more than happy to help. Blessings, in lak’ech Debra (debra.malmos@gmail.com)

    • Hi Michelle, the water blessing I shared was one that could be used as an offering of Our Self and could be done in the shower or with an anointing from any body of water. The essential element of sacred ceremony is the intention. You might set a simple altar by lighting a candle, offering a Spirit plate with some bread or fruit. (Listen to what your ideas suggest.) You might bless the offering as sacred by thinking of where it came from, bless hands that brought it to you – that it showed up at this time for this sacred purpose. Or before taking the shower, you might smudge, say a prayer – it’s all about approaching it with the intention of sacred ceremony. And the reason I always say that sacred ceremony can be done solely through intention of Spirit – If I were unable to walk, move, speak, I can never be excluded from the gift of ceremony. I hope that helps. In lak’ech, Debra
