MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

Greetings Kin,

We began in Unity, as we were inspired by a new idea. Tone 2 brings the energy of Duality. We are given the choice of creation. We experience our separation from the Whole as we consider our unique experience. What would it be? How would I accomplish it? These are the questions we ask in consideration of a decision “to be or not to be.” We are measuring our own Faith in a Possibility of an Intention of Manifestation.

Reed/BEN is a Day Sign that connects us to a Source of Spirit that holds our Answers. Under the trecena of Road/EB we are forming the Sacred Intention for a Life Direction. We are being led to a Transformation that completes our Understanding to become the Guiding Light on the Road of our Destiny.

GREEN KIN: ELEMENT OF ETHER
2 Reed/BEN, KIN 93, is a Portal Day that represents a thinning of the veil and the opening of a Channel to Spirit. Portals magnify our experience. Reed is the Hollow Tube through which Earthbound Spirit find Communion with the Up Above. Portals heighten our Awareness of our Intuition and Knowing so we may Sense a Divine Presence.

As we consider a new direction, Reed/BEN calls our Heart Home. We will be focused on restoring right relationship with one another. Reed asks us to question how our Dream that would serve the Highest Good for Humanity.

Our Highest Choice won’t be made by Logic or by the Reason that the Dream is something we are capable to do. Our Power to Manifest lies in the magic of our Unconditional Love. The Dream that Touches our Heart indicates a course of Divine Alignment. A Passion Born of Love holds everything it needs to be manifest in our physical reality.

Reed/BEN comes with the advice of putting our House into Order. Tone 2 is a Planning Day. The mental activity generated by both Tones 1 and 2 often presents an impulse to take action prematurely. This is a day to employ the caution to “sleep on it” before we take action.

Two Tzolk’in rounds ago in 2015 I published my first journal on 1 Road/EB. It was the only thing that seemed like a clear direction at a time when hope was lost. The only dream was to find Peace and Purpose in my life.  I started without the courage to sign my name to my journal. I had no idea how one small change on 1 Road/Eb could set my feet onto a whole new path forward.

Only by following a calendar did I start to see a Transformation that was Happening within myself. Because I wrote it down, I can go back and clearly see the Transformation in Progress. Minisa Halsey’s book, “Spirit Talk” was my inspiration to keep a daily journal. She said, “The Elders say the time has come for us to write the New Calendars.” I didn’t “get”the meaning. One thing I’ve been admonished for on the Medicine Path is asking too many questions. The standard counsel is, “The Answer is in the Question.”

A Question that Calls us to Action is the Call from Spirit to Discover our Own Answer. I didn’t “get” my Answer until AFTER I realized I had written my Own calendar. We are each creating a story that is uniquely our own. A daily journal of our experience is a gift of personal knowledge to ourselves. No one else can write it.

To all my relations, Reed/BEN calls us to kneel in Humility at the Altar Within. Here we will be drawn into a Divine Communion where we are Especially Loved for our Differences. This is a day to pay attention to our Inner Voice. May we consider what we would Dream for Ourselves, and Seek Guidance on how it might Bless Someone Else. We stand at an important crossroad. The direction we choose will follow its own course on the Road of Our Destiny.

2 Reed/BEN (Cherokee, Reed/I’HYA)

Galactic Tone 2: Mysterious as the question ‘to be or not to be?” Two is the recognition of the separation of self from all else and the desire to be rejoined. Walking a balance while making choices of all kinds, light/dark, male/female, good/bad, Yin/Yang, is the energy of this number. Experiencing the differences between one and another is the use and purpose of this number.

Reed/BEN: Reed persons are the spiritual essence, protectors and guiding light for family and home. They are competent speakers who will take up a cause. Very tough and analytical, Reeds endeavor to bring peace, harmony and order to all o their relations. Reeds are blessed with great skill at negotiations and consoling which are very often put to the test. Although Reeds need a lot of appreciation, may have marriage or business problems because of inflexible vies and high expectations, which erode affinity. The lesson for Reed is to be like a garden hose, not a steel pipe. Bless or repair your house.

Cherokee, Reed/I’HYA: REED- Symbol-Reed is the Earth, reflection of the Star Chaga of Pollux. Reed made up the Magician Twins who led the journey to bring back to life the daughter of the Sun.
