MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
Tone 3 carries an Intention of Movement that brings our Intention to Life. In the Biblical story of Creation, on the 3rd day Mother Earth was created and Life was Seeded on the Planet… “Planted on Earth: plants yielding seeds, each according to its kind, and trees bearing fruit with seeds inside.” (Common English Bible: Genesis 1:12)
One Tone 3 we fire the Seed of our Intention to bring Life to a Dream. Our Dream holds its own power to grow. Dog/OC reminds us that Love is the Ethereal Force that will make a Dream come true. If our Seed is cultivated by our Love, it will bear its own fruit and multiply itself from the seeds inside.
Dog/OC resides at the Center of the Tzolk’in with Monkey/CHUEN. Together, Dog and Monkey reflect the aspects central to the Creator, and are Role Models for Co-Creation. Dog/OC is the symbol of Unconditional Love, and Monkey/CHUEN is a Creator, Weaving Time and Experience as the fabric of our Life.
Unconditional Love is the Spark of Ether that inspires the first Movement of Life. Something we only imagined will become part of our real-life experience, because we Loved it enough to take action toward its manifestation. Brought to life through movement, our Dream will begin to follow its natural course. As we take one step, the Dream will inspire the next.
Dog/OC guides us to Love our Dream Unconditionally. Dog/OC represents the Element of Air, the Breath of Life and Breath of Creation. In the direction of the North, the place of Wisdom, our awareness is drawn to the processes of the mind. Dog/OC demonstrates our first movement as Loving. We will empower our Seed and cultivate an environment for it to Grow when our movement toward our Dream is a Labor of Love.
Tone 3 establishes a “point of agreement between any point “A” and any point “B.” We must clearly see where we are, and where we are going. To manifest our Point B, we must see it as if it already exists. As we take flight, we must crystallize the Vision of the thing we intend to Grasp. We must claim the Faith that from a Seed, it already exists, and “Love Now” as the Experience of its Creation.
Like an Eagle we must see into the future with our eyes focused only on the prize. We won’t “reason” our way there. We’ll rely on our Instinct and Intuition. We can expect our Dream to lead us through the uncharted territory of change. We must Love our Dream enough to volunteer our Self to an Experience that will include some chaos. When we imagine the fullness of a future Blessing, our Unconditional Love will carry us through. With Unconditional Love we invest our Self in the Whole of the Experience. The Full Beauty of our Dream is seen in its unfolding.
Our favorite stories are about Heroes of accomplishment made in the face of overwhelming obstacles. We’re inspired by those who kept going in spite of all odds to accomplish something they Loved. Accomplishing our Highest Dreams will reflect the Beauty of the Impossible, made Possible by our Love.
Dog is faithful and loyal, said to be our constant companion even after death. Dog looks beyond any initial rejection without prejudice, to move on to the next opportunity for Love. We must also look beyond our disappoints. Our Higher Self can discern the Truth that, surrendered to God’s Will, every turn would have its purpose.
Star/LAMAT continues to influence us with a Higher Frequency of Energy. Dog reminds us to Love our Self. This is an important time for self-care, and a good time to rely on our proven and worthy Spiritual Tools. A cleansing with sage, sweetgrass, or other aromatics can help clear the air of negativity, and remind us that the Sacred Breath of our prayers rises on the Wind to the Creator.
Dog takes life as it comes, like a Happy Adventure. Love is the basic necessity for our Happiness. Dog stops to smell the roses and Offer Love in the Moment. Dog calls us to be Faithful to One Another. We are all One in the “Pack” of Humanity. Offering our Unconditional Love is the Highest and Personal Best we can bring.
To all my relations, may we crystallize a Vision of the Dream we Love. May we see it so clearly that we Know our Way by Instinct and Intuition. May we Believe in the Power held in the Seed of our Intention, and remember that we, too, are Seeds planted by the Creator. We were created by the Supreme Lord of Creation who imagined us in every detail, and Created us as a Dynamic Reflection of God’s Love. May we Love our Dream and our Experience of the Journey. May we take flight, willing to bear the bumps and scrapes on the way. May these become the battle scars we show to prove the Truth of our Highest Accomplishment. May we be Humbled that we were created as a Living Reflection of the Creator, that we are a Seed that’s Loved, and now bears Fruit that will Multiply to Abundance from the Seeds inside.

Galactic Tone 3: Action. Three is basic movement and communication, which begins as a vibration. Three energy is very eloquent in all types of self-expression. Communication is how Three establishes a point of agreement between any point “A” and any point “B”. Three persons are rhythmic to the core and are often restless, as motion is their nature. By working closely with the energy of Three, any person becomes more able to predict motions of all kinds.
Dog/OC: Courageous, loyal and warm-hearted, very alert and valiant, people born of Dog are respected for their sense of justice and their protection. People born of the sun sign Dog are very sensual and know how to enjoy life. Playfulness and a good understanding of the basic human nature lead to prosperity for Dog. Dogs are good team players who love to travel and have a keen sense of their position in society. Dogs are ambitious and will take opportunities when they offer themselves, including infidelities. Dog persons share the nature of coyotes, spies, wolves and lawyers.
Cherokee, Wolf/KANA’TI: Wolf is symbolized by Sirius (Dog star) and Antares, one or the other always visible but never at the same time. Wolf is our brother, shares our very roots. All dogs are domesticated wolves, companionship and guidance. Wolves are a connecting link between the worlds; ones who inspire loyalty, diplomacy and sense of humor with unlimited potential. Wolf is the Day Sign of teachers, healers, pathfinders and transformers; sharp as obsidian, gentle as a lamb. OC-Totem –Dog: Loyalty and faithfulness that survives beyond death. This was the first day of creation energy in this 4th world, sets the energy for love, loyalty and faithfulness on the 5200 year cycle. Heart chakra energy is involved so that we can move to the state of “unconditional love” with compassion. All sexual desire issues that are not in harmony will surface to be cleared.
