MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
Tone 5 is an intelligent, organizing force which manages knowledge and application, and the number of Empowerment and Change. Tone 5 brings the Power to Manifest the Dream of Change we hope for. We were Purified and Blessed by MULUC through an Offering of Atonement. Returned to the Whole we share in a Collective Dream to live in a Divine Exchange of Love.
Dog/OC shares the Power to make this Dream come true. Our climb of Spiritual Growth will be accomplished by the Power of Love. Dog symbolizes the Unconditional Love of the Creator, and the way we were meant to live our lives.
No matter what chaos we face in the winds of change, Loving is the Power to see us through. Dog/OC demonstrates a way of Living in Happiness, no matter what our worldly circumstances may be.
Dog/OC follows the Loving Experiences of Living. It seeks out those who will return its affection… going from one to the next, until it finds the Loving Hand. Dog can teach us how to gravitate toward Love.
The Dog doesn’t take offense when it encounters a lack of Love. It just moves on, hopeful in a new opportunity. Love is deeply ingrained in the Dog. It wags its whole body at the next prospect of love. Dog doesn’t waste time where Love isn’t found. Its focus is to find the nearest available opportunity.
Sometimes our Human ego demands love from the place we don’t find it. Not everyone will be capable or willing to return our Love. We lose something of our Self if we try to earn someone’s love. When we make the Creator our focus, our need of validation outside of our Self falls away. Our quest for Love can be over by just turning to the Source that is always there.
Dog is a Giver of Love. It spreads Love without Condition. As its Soul Purpose it eagerly moves to the place it can be Received. Dog delights in the Exchange of Love. It is right and good to move on to Love. The Love we tried to Give will still exist as a Seed we planted. We might return later to discover the fruit of an unknown harvest.
By turning to the Creator we can learn about Love. Unconditional Love is a Decision. It doesn’t need anything in return.
Dog is our Constant Companion on our Journey to the other side. Unconditional Love is the Power that will lead us to the Higher Consciousness of our Self. There are millions of opportunities all around us where others are Hoping for Love and Open to Receive it.
Dog understands that there is an Abundance of Love to go around. The Dog is a pack animal. It knows to build a Family among those who share the Harmony of Loving Relationships. We will know instantly when we find our “pack” by their equal exchange.
The Cherokee Day Sign is the Wolf. Wolf is different than other totems who appear for a time. Once you’ve entered an exchange with the Wolf, you will ALWAYS be part of the Pack. Those people with whom we exchange a Gift of the Heart are family.
To all my relations, may we find our Power to Change by always turning to the Direct Source of Unconditional Love. As we receive this Blessing from the Creator, may our Equal Exchange be to GIVE Unconditional Love to others. Like Dog, we could hold the Passion to hurry from one to the next, until we reach the One who Receives our Love. May we also Unconditionally Love every experience. Our Darkest Days can lead us to our Brightest Light. With Higher Consciousness of the Creator we can bear the time we must stand in the Faith. Loving empowers our Intention to be Born into Light. May we see the opportunities to Love “Now,” just as things are.

5 Dog/OC (Cherokee, Wolf/KANA’TI)
Galactic Tone 5: Empowerment. At the center of the cube we find Five. Five is an intelligent, organizing force which manages communications and materials, knowledge and application. Fives are natural net workers who gather what is needed. These persons can probe directly to the core of any situation making them excellent investigators.
Dog/OC: Courageous, loyal and warm-hearted, very alert and valiant, people born of Dog are respected for their sense of justice and their protection. People born of the sun sign Dog are very sensual and know how to enjoy life. Playfulness and a good understanding of the basic human nature lead to prosperity for Dog. Dogs are good team players who love to travel and have a keen sense of their position in society. Dogs are ambitious and will take opportunities when they offer themselves, including infidelities. Dog persons share the nature of coyotes, spies, wolves and lawyers.
Cherokee, Wolf/KANA’TI: Wolf is symbolized by Sirius (Dog star) and Antares, one or the other always visible but never at the same time. Wolf is our brother, shares our very roots. All dogs are domesticated wolves, companionship and guidance. Wolves are a connecting link between the worlds; ones who inspire loyalty, diplomacy and sense of humor with unlimited potential. Wolf is the Day Sign of teachers, healers, pathfinders and transformers; sharp as obsidian, gentle as a lamb.

By providing the original text, I hope to offer a way to see what inspired my thoughts and by including all the aspects – allow for something more to inspire you. How is your Spiritual path today?
I love to hear from you. Share your thoughts on the day, your Day Sign, or just say Hi!
This awesome little boy, Julian (9), is still coming by to collect the trash. It’s become a routine. We did a craft last week, rock paintings, and he thinks Thursdays should be craft day. Now he brings friends along when he stops by. I bought a box with 100 ice pops, so I’ve been doling them out when he comes by. He and a friend came by for trash today, and I gave them each a dollar and a pop. A couple of hours later, the friend comes by to see if I had more trash. :)) I didn’t have any more, but gave him a pop. 5 minutes later he’s back with twin aunts (14) could they have red ones? And, when will I have more trash? LOL
You’d have to know how solitary it’s been here, to suddenly find myself a popular old lady with the kids in the neighborhood. :)) I remember the first time Julian knocked 5 times in the same day, I wondered what I was getting into. I love kids. To have all this happening all at once right now, seems the chaos of a very nice change. Debra
