MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
Tone 10 holds the Intention of Manifestation. We are presented with the Truth of our Transformation that was carried out through a Divine Communion with the Creator. We are given the opportunity to Claim our Higher Consciousness.
The Manifestation of our Intention holds a blessing and the responsibility to claim it for our Self.
Wind/IK is the Breath of Spirit, and Breath of Life. Wind carried the Voice of the Creator who manifested Creation through the spoken word. Representing the Element of Air, Wind reminds us of our connection to each other in every breath of our life.
Wind/IK is the Healing Breath that draws the Light of Life and Happiness. Wind speaks to us as the Voice of the Creator, and the Wind that carries the Sacred Smoke of our Prayers heavenward to the Creator. Air is the fundamental Element of Life, shared by every living thing.
The Reed/BEN trecena has called our hearts home where we can discover that we are One in the family of Divine Consciousness. Our family can exist anywhere that offers the Breath of Life. We are one with every thing that shares the Sacred Breath.
Today we can manifest the Consciousness of our Divine Family on Earth. We can see our family extends to every thing that draws life from the Element of Air. We can see the Divine relationship in Nature that maintains the perfect balance of elements through a divine exchange.
We were inspired by Reed/BEN to know the channels through which we could always be One with the Creator. At an altar within we would realize that a Divine Consciousness wanted to be included in all the directions of our life.
We learned the value of the Relationships in our Life. Through our Relationship with the Creator, we would Know we are Children of Divinity. As One with Humanity, we would always find someone to understand our sorrow and celebrate our joy. Together we would help one another to remember. As One with Mother Earth we would learn everything we need to Know, and discover we are a Creation of equal Beauty.
Tone 10 offers an experience that would help us see the change that has manifested in our life. This is often a day when we are presented with an experience we are familiar with, only to discover that our perception of it has been changed. The way we perceive our life, our relationships, and the world around us is changed through a transformation to Higher Consciousness.
My life has been changed in miraculous ways over the past 4 rounds of the Tzolk’in. I saw the Beauty around me without feeling I was part of it. I couldn’t imagine what beauty was left in me. I’ve known more Love than I can share. Today my life has a meaning and purpose. 4 years ago the garden on my balcony didn’t exist. It was a storage wasteland.
Creating beauty in the realm of physicality, drew the balance of beauty to my Spirit. Today it’s a place where the birds share their beauty just outside my window. I could swear the birds are singing for me. Today I know life is worth living and that even better days lie ahead. I have a lifetime of memories at my disposal to return to and re-imagine through the eyes of Love.
This is my last message prepared in advance to accommodate my travel home. I wonder what new experiences and gifts of consciousness will be manifested from my visit.
A few years ago, the family that once gathered at holidays and played games together around the dining room table was broken apart by our differences. We existed on different sides of imaginary lines. On my last trip my Highest Aspiration was to return with my dignity in tact. Now, I only imagine the Love we will share in the opportunity to be together. I need so many more visits. I pray this visit will be one my Mom will remember.
The transformation happened seamlessly, through changes so small they were barely seen. There was no single life-changing revelation or event. Only 4 years later do I see how drastically my whole life was turned around. The Miracle is that from the outside looking in, one might guess that nothing has changed. For the most part, the circumstances of my daily life haven’t changed. I found happiness that isn’t influenced by the circumstances of the world. I can’t think of a greater gift of lasting value.
This is a day to acknowledge and bless every sign of Transformation, whether big or small. On the long journey of life, it only takes one small adjustment to arrive at an entirely new destination. There will still be doubts along the way, though they will begin to fall away. There will be injustice, though day-by-day the choice of happiness will become easier to make, until injustice is fully seen as an illusion and a waste of precious time.
To all my relations, may we clearly see our own Transformation. May we recognize changes that we were never able to accomplish on our own, yielding way as creation became a mutual effort in collaboration with a Divine Creator. May we be grateful for the limits we reach that remind us to turn to a Higher Authority of Happiness. My we look at the Beauty of Mother Earth and see that all the life she nourishes and supports is One in a Divine Family of Creation. May we see that everything that was Divinely Created holds within it an eternal “I Love You.” May we know a Love that Overflows so Abundantly, that the only way we can bear it is to give it away.
in lak’ech, i am another you

10 Wind/IK (Cherokee, Whirlwind/AGALU’GA)
Galactic Tone 10: Manifestation. What were once intentions or ideas, hopes or fears become physically present with the energy of Ten. What is focused upon with attention and intention becomes real with Ten. Ten is a powerful energy that carries a great responsibility.
Wind/IK: Breath of Spirit, breath of life. Winds embody the power of dissemination and planting of good seeds or ideas. Dreamers and planners with powerful imaginations, Wind persons make great orators and they spread the word of spiritual inspiration as it is carried by the wind. Wind is the power behind the movement of natural cycles such as weather, erosion, and cultural change. As the wind, these persons are extremely changeable and adaptable. They may appear inconsistent or fickle to others. Wind can be destructive to self and others by putting on airs. When Winds strut and boast, expanding on facts and accomplishments, they are building the dark clouds of trouble that may become hurricanes.
Cherokee, Whirlwind/AGALU’GA: Whirlwind’s symbol is a double spiral helix in rising smoke. Wind brings energy for an Inquiring mind, learning and wisdom. In Cherokee, the constellations are represented by 12 birds (dancers), the 13th bird is the Whirlwind, the lead dancer. This reflects the whirling of life. Wind is the breath of the Universe (matching the Mayan symbol) channel of communication and carries the Sacred Smoke to the Great Spirit (Source- Hunab Ku in Mayan); matches the pulse of the breath of the Cosmos

HELLO FROM KANSAS! I’m grateful to be spending some time with my parents on the farm. I look forward to reading and responding to your comments. Replies may be delayed until after I return on Saturday. In the meantime, I will be taking in all the beauty of Mother Nature, far from the city where stars are the only lights in the night sky, where the deer bed down under the cedars, and where there is an unobstructed view of Sun from one horizon to the other… the Kansas plains of my Ancestors. I’ll be sending my love around on the Sun. Much love, Debra
