MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
2 Sun / AHAU
Greetings Kin,
Tone 2 represents Duality, Human’s way of Discernment. There are two sides to our Self. Our perception is based on a comparison, the differences we see between one thing and another.
On Tone 2 we’re presented with a Choice between how things are and how we want them to be. Through a Divine Choice of Intention, we exercise our Power to manifest what Will Be.
Sun/AHAU brings the Light of Illumination. We can always expect a new Revelation when we encounter the Sun, our Divine Source of Life, Light, and Happiness.
AHAU is the Source of our Inspiration, bringing Light to a Dream. As the Supreme Lord of All, AHAU is the Master Creator. AHAU is the Divine Authority, holding unlimited possibilities of Creation. The Sun brings Light to everything – what is hidden in darkness, and hidden in plain sight. Sun/AHAU can offer a Revelation that brings Light to something we hadn’t seen or considered as a possibility.
Sun/AHAU will inspire us to our Highest Intentions, offering the Faith that, together, we hold the Power to carry it out. AHAU sees Us in our Highest Light, as we are also able to see the Higher Light of the Creator. AHAU brings to Light a Sacred Exchange of Power.
COMPLETING THE 4th UINAL
2 Sun/AHAU completes the 4th Uinal of Stability. AHAU establishes the foundation for a new way of Spirit, the direction and orientation we are given to manifest the Fruit of a Spiritual Harvest for this Tzolk’in round of 260-days.
Tone 2 is a day when we may feel some vulnerability. We don’t have to consider whether we’re capable, only if the Reason is worthy. Our Intention will be carried out by our “Higher Angels.”
Our “Wise Decision” will be based on the Meaning and Purpose. The Elders say, “There are many ways to accomplish the same thing.” We are most likely to succeed when we Know the Reason for creation. When we share our Reason with the Creator, we open the door to unlimited possibilities.
One of Human’s challenges of Transformation is our fixation on a specific plan. We can convince our Self that we know exactly what we need to manifest our happiness. We can end up setting Intentions on a finite outcome. If we cling to this idea, we limit the Free Will of the Creator to make use of Unlimited Possibility.
Sun/AHAU can help us see that the Meaning and Purpose is far more important than the Way it could be manifested in our life. The Meaning of Happiness is what we are most passionate about. From our Lower Mind of Reason, we might discern that Money could solve all our problems. (Though we hold no “passion” for money, but for the “happiness” we think money could buy.) Or, we might discern that if only the problems of the world were solved, THEN we could be Happy.
We are choosing an Intention with the new Wisdom that we will create in collaboration with a Source of Divinity. Our Highest Aspiration will be a Dream fueled by our Shared Passion. Our Highest Choice will be an Intention to manifest a creation that fulfills a Dream of Unconditional Love. Our Transformation will be born through the exchange of Divine Justice. We can be Free of Limits, just as we are Free of Failure, by allowing the Creator the final Choice. Moving forward in our Highest Aspiration is a Dream of Unconditional Love, fulfilled in the best way the Creator Knows to Manifest the Creation.
We can make a Choice to Humble ourselves to Receive a Gift of Divine Discernment. In Good Faith, we can believe in the best of all outcomes. We can exercise our Faith to Honor a Gift in the Future, without knowing exactly what it is.
We might see how this choice could offer the sense of adventure and curiosity to our everyday lives. When we were children, we loved surprises. Then we grew up. We lost our Spirit of Freedom. We surrendered it unconsciously to the Ego, preferring to be in control. The Storm/CAUAC trecena intends to return us to the hopeful optimism of our childhood. We might consider what kind of “surprise” a Supreme Lord of Creation could prepare for us. We could choose the unbridled freedom of Consciously living in the moment.
There are some movies you watch once and that’s all you need to see. I like movies with surprises, because I can play them over again to discover the clues that were woven into the story. (This is the reminder that notes will be meaningful.)
We can surrender our Spiritual Resources to the disposal of a Divine Creator and rely on Divine Guidance. We can choose to be Happy now. Filter out negative influences and leave the Channel Open for the Divine Thoughts of the Creator.
The Cherokee Day Sign, the Flower, represents a Way of Moving Forward. The Flower turns its face to the Sunrise and follows the Sun’s path across the sky. The Flower’s movement is aligned by Belief in its Primary Source of Life, Light, and Happiness.
This is an important day to remember that what we are unable to accomplish in the world, can be accomplished in the realm of Spirit. Holding an Intention of Peace and Happiness in the realm of Spirit is an effort that Will Be Balanced in all our realms of existence.
As the Master and Hero of All, Sun/AHAU empowers our Human Will to pursue a Divine Intention. Sun offers a Revelation about the capabilities of our Higher Self to accomplish the Dream. All we need to make it possible is to Believe in the Wisdom and the Power of the Creator, and the Creator’s Divine Intention of Harmony and Equity. Our intention is transformed into a Divine Intention, when our Dream includes the Whole. The Happiness of the Whole is the Creator’s Highest Intention. We can count on a return of Divine Justice when we wish to manifest a Dream in Harmony with the Whole.
We can make things easy on our Self. All we have to do is follow the face of the Sun across the sky. We can keep our eyes trained on our own Source of Life, Light, and Happiness. We can open our eyes to what the Creator would have us see.
Sun/AHAU resides in the South, the direction of Relationship. Our Intention will establish the relationship of a Divine Covenant, a promise to work together toward a Dream of Happiness that we share the same Passion to Create. We can free ourselves from the burden of figuring it all out. The Creator will light the way. All we have to do is Acknowledge the Light that is guiding us.
AHAU is the Day Sign of the Old Ones, the Ascended Masters that walked this way before. They Ascended to their Highest State of Consciousness, basking in the Light of Forgiveness and Unconditional Love. AHAU connects us to their Wisdom, the Wisdom they preserved for us.
We can draw the Light of the Creator that shined before we were born. As we receive our own Divine Light, the Wisdom of the Elders can help us to discern the Divine Meaning. We Honor the Old Ones by accepting the Inheritance of their Wisdom. We offer a Sacred Exchange by generating value from their Divine Intention to share Wisdom. We might consider how we are Honored when someone considers our advice, especially when it was offered to help someone else avoid the suffering that was necessary for us to learn. Suffering is elevated to its Highest Intention as a blessing to the Whole. So, do we elevate the Divine Meaning and Purpose of a sacrifice when we humble ourselves to acknowledge wisdom greater than our own.
To all my relations, as we discern the Intention of our Dream, may we focus only on the Happiness we attach to its Meaning and Purpose. May we Acknowledge the Creator knows the best way forward. May we Dream of a Gift that is waiting. We have 12 more days to Dream about what we will find inside. May we hold Faith for the Miracle that will be manifested by The Master of Creation.
in lak’ech, i am another you

2 Sun/AHAU (Cherokee, Flower/GUN’TSI)
Galactic Tone 2: Mysterious as the question ‘to be or not to be?” Two is the recognition of the separation of self from all else and the desire to be rejoined. Walking a balance while making choices of all kinds, light/dark, male/female, good/bad, Yin/Yang, is the energy of this number. Experiencing the differences between one and another is the use and purpose of this number.
Sun/AHAU: Day of the ancestors and connection to their guidance. The divine face of the sun – lord, musician, singer, dancer, and marksman. Suns are artistic, heroic athletes, visionaries with wise judgment who lead and defend the people. So much is expected from themselves and by other people that unfulfilled expectations are a certainty. An accumulation of these disappointments may lead Sun to evade responsibilities, not accept corrections and even build resentment and disdain towards others. Suns should simplify their lives to be able to rise and shine with unconditional love once again.
Cherokee, Flower/GUN’TSI EK: Symbol is the Sun, place of abode of Great Spirit. The Sun creates, nurtures, and is the super communicator, the way station that relays messages and energy from other stars in the galaxy; provides energy for channeling information from the Ancestors; speaking the Living Language of Light, which ignites the consciousness in others. Gold is the color of courage and opportunity of wealth. Creative arts, master craftsman expressing divinity and wisdom through their creations. The face of the flower follows the Sun gathering the fire of creativity, illuminating harmony and balance, resonating peace and continuity within the human spirit. This is the Sign of the Chalice of the Infinite, Caldron of Creation.
