MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
Tone 13 is the Day of Ascension. This is a day to Celebrate a new Consciousness of Being. Tone 13 calls for the ceremony of Initiation for our Higher Identity of Spirit to be Seen and Acknowledged.
The Elders say that Everything wants to be Seen and Acknowledged. For all our mistakes and limitations, Human Dreams of being Seen in our Highest Light.
Today we are given this Gift from the Divine Creator. We’re Seen for every personal effort that went into the Transformation of our Self. We were created to Dream of our Highest Hopes, so we could celebrate that everything we were able to give was for the Sake of Love. The limits we reached happened because we are Human, still learning to use our Consciousness. There was no real “failure.” Holding the Intention, we gave everything we were able to give.
13 Deer/MANIK reflects the Meaning and Purpose we were created. We were intended for a Divine Relationship, and to serve as God’s Ears, Eyes, and Hands in the world.
Deer is the Day Sign of the Mayan priest, the one that holds all the Spiritual Tools and Believes for the Whole in the Power of Miracles. The glyph illustrates a Hand, another name for MANIK, that grasping a thread of the Plasma of Ether, completes the circuit of a Divine Source of Power. The circle on the Hand represents the Highest Gift used by the Deer, the Vigilance of Consciousness.
We were placed on Mother Earth for a Divine Relationship, to share our Experience of Love. Mother Earth was the object of the Creator’s Love. From the Highest Perspective, we were created to share the Miracles of the Creator’s Love. The Creator dreamed we would See and Acknowledge all the Gifts we were given.
This is a very special Ascension as the first Tone 13 in the 13th uinal. 13 is the number of theurgy, the Power to engage Divine Intervention through our Sacred Rituals and Ceremony. In the Movement carried out as Sacred Communion with the Creator, we vibrate with Love. A Divine Creator always sees us. Human creates the Miracle Force of CHICCHAN when we come together in Humility for such a Divine Purpose. Theurgy defines the Promise of Answered Prayers.
Number 1313: Tone 13 and uinal 13 represent the Number 1313. Number 1313 doubles and amplifies the Number 13. Number 1 relates to self-leadership and assertiveness, telling us that we create our own experiences with our Intentions, Thoughts, and Beliefs. Number 3 is a sign that we are surrounded by a Divine Agency, helping us focus on the Divine spark within our Self and others. The Ascended Masters are working through our thoughts to enable the highest and wisest choices, and to use our natural interests, talents, and personality to bring joy and uplift others. 1313 resolves to Number 8 (1+3+1+3=8), the Number of “pure spirit” and Abundance.
The vibration of 13 corresponds with the Archetype of Deer/MANIK, magnifying our very Meaning and Purpose for Being. In the first uinal of Crocodile/IMIX, Deer/MANIK was waiting at the top of the pyramid of our first climb (7 MANIK). In the place that reflects the Above and the Below, MANIK reflected everything that is and everything that could be created from the realm of Spirit. The Truth for our first Transformation was Knowing a Divine Relationship between the Above and the Below.
MANIK is said to hold every Spiritual Tool its ever used. MANIK holds the Medicine Bundle of Spirit, just as the Mayan priest holds the bundle of Sacred Objects passed down for the Service of Sacred Ceremony. Our Tools are the Truths we can stand on and the ways we create to Remember.
The Deer’s Heart is free of fear, knowing the Higher Ground where it stands. In our Vigilant Consciousness, The Deer doesn’t need to defend its Truth. Deer doesn’t have to make others believe or go along. They will be drawn by a demonstration.
MANIK resides in the West, the direction of our Unknown Journey through Life. Holding the Element of Water, the Deer relates to our emotions and speaks through the Heart. Water is the Element that holds the Ether of Spirit, the Holy Water used for Blessings and Purifications. On 13 Deer/MANIK we are called to a Baptism of Spirit.
Through ceremony we can grasp the Power that moves the Spirits of the Whole. We won’t have to explain what can never be conveyed by words. Grasping the Truth of our own Divine Miracles, the Leap of our own Heart will ripple through the whole.
MANIK is said to hold the power of Harmonic Resonance. Existing in the Highest Vibration of the Consciousness of Love, lower vibrations are drawn into sympathy. Just like the Deer that leads the family herd, when the Deer moves, others naturally follow, relying on what the Deer sees. MANIK also holds the power to push away negativity. Through Vigilant Observation, we can Choose our Thoughts.
Through a Blessing of Consciousness today we are Seen and Acknowledged as the Deer. We can Know that we hold the Power to draw Hearts to the Truth of the Creator’s Love. Grasping the Ether that completes the circuit between Human and God, we are Gifted with the Power for others to Feel what we Feel in our own experience of CHICCHAN.
Deer/MANIK demonstrations the Power of Attraction. Our Consciousness of the Creator is beyond Human understanding. We can never explain why we believe what we believe to convey our own Understanding of Truth. Our Truth will speak for itself through the demonstration of Life Lived out through a Perspective of Divine Abundance. Believing in a Future seen by our Spirit, we demonstrate the way to Manifest Miracles. Deer/MANIK is said to uphold the Pillars of the 4 directions.
To all my relations, may we Ascend knowing how to Grasp and Hold the Ether of Spirit that connects us to the Creator. May we believe in our own Power to Initiate Communion through our rituals and ceremonies. The Creator is interested in Human and can see our Beauty in all our Movements, even washing the dishes. May we Give Thanks that we can Feel and Know what we can’t see. May we See and Acknowledge that the Creator’s Dream for us is even Higher than our Highest Aspirations. May give thanks for the new Horizons now possible, and imagine the future of our own world, Created for the Sake of Love.

13 Deer/MANIK (Cherokee, Deer/Ahwu’sdi)
Galactic Tone 13: Ascension; Thirteen assists us to go to the next higher step, propels us to try something new or to try again. Thirteen energy takes us over the next mountain just to see what is there. Thirteen carries the last success to the newest effort. Thirteen is a number associated with the Ascended Masters, creation, expansion, and manifestation.
Deer/MANIK (Hand): Deer are spirit tools. Silence itself is a spiritual experience for Deer. For Deer life is a pilgrimage. Deer are dominant persons who defend the people and will make sacrifices for others. The spirit of Deer upholds the pillars of the four directions. With the power inherent in the number four, Deer pushes away bad influences or negative energies. Skill and quality of work are very important to Deer. They are presented with tools for every task in life and it is with these that they are able to rise above limitations. Deer has a habit of keeping every tool it has ever used. This leads to clutter and indecision, loss and procrastination. When confronted with promises not kept, Deer becomes stubborn, manipulative and evasive.
Cherokee, Deer/Ahwu’sdi: Symbolized by Constellation Galagina, the Stag, known as Taurus, the Bull. It does not include the Pleiades and Hyades clusters which in Cherokee are viewed as separate. To feed, gatherers of food and supplies, they enjoy rituals, ceremonials, feasts, the souls of hospitality, sociability. Freedom versus security issues often inspire leadership and unique solutions. Combined with artistic and inspiring energies in harmony with lunar cycles, they nourish the clans. Totem-Deer: A priest or shaman, a powerful person in general, to overwhelm an individual with one’s personal power, divination; inclined to become a teacher, healer, guru, civic leader, or politician. Ability to create harmonic resonance.
