MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
Tone 13 is the Day of Ascension. The Eagle trecena offered a Higher Dream. On Eagle’s wings, from Above we saw a path with a clear view from Point A to Point B. There are no obstacles in the way of the Creator’s Divine Will.
The Creator always holds the Authority over its own Creation. We rise to our own Highest purpose investing our own Hand to a Creation we Love.
Deer/MANIK is the Day Sign that marks the Destiny of the Mayan priest. The Mayan priest demonstrates the Way to Hold On. Deer/MANIK shares ALL the Spiritual Tools for Creation. Deer/MANIK is a symbol of the Creator’s Divine Provision for every Human limitation. The Deer invests the Time in Communion through Rituals, Sacred Ceremonies. The Mayan priest doesn’t force a way, but stands on its own way to bring an Offering to every altar.
Number 1313: Tone 13 and uinal 13 represent the Number 1313. Number 1313 doubles and amplifies the Number 13. Number 1 relates to self-leadership and assertiveness, telling us that we create our own experiences with our Intentions, Thoughts, and Beliefs. Number 3 is a sign that we are surrounded by a Divine Agency, helping us focus on the Divine spark within our Self and others. The Ascended Masters are working through our thoughts to enable the highest and wisest choices, and to use our natural interests, talents, and personality to bring joy and uplift others. 1313 resolves to Number 8 (1+3+1+3=8), the Number of “pure spirit” and Abundance.
On 7 Jaguar/IX we were Measured by our Highest Hopes and Highest Aspirations for a Divine Balance. Our Ascension is a revelation of our Divine Justice. Jaguar/IX holds the Earth Magic of Gratitude. When Faith is transformed to Believing, Gratitude will become our Truth and our state-of-mind.
Looking for our Highest Hope we were shape-shifted into the Jaguar that holds ALL Power of Being in every dimension, one as Real as Another.
The Jaguar totem lends the courage to Face the Unknown. The Jaguar is always positioned on Tone 7 (in stealth) for the Balancing of Spirit. At the top of El Castillo, the calendar pyramid at Chichen Itza, a Red Jaguar guards the Inner Room to the Holy of Holies.
The Jaguar never walks in the Unknown. All it has to do when it faces the Darkness is to disappear into the Realm of Divine Truth. Whenever the Jaguar appears, we are guided on a journey to the East. If we follow our Divine thoughts, we will always end up in Light.
MANIK holds the Vigilant Observation to turn toward thoughts of Love, and away from thoughts of Fear. 13 Deer/MANIK will be the Higher Ground for our Highest Ascension. 13 Deer/MANIK is the Revelation of an Answered Prayer.
Our first Ascension is the Truth that we were Given the Spiritual Tools to carry out our Divine Meaning and Purpose. We are EVERYTHING we need To Be. We found a way, turning our thoughts to a Dream for the Future, beginning again with everything we Know Now.
Creation itself is our Most Divine Spiritual Tool. When we lay a Hand to our own Creations, we forget our Self and the world. We are all-consumed in a Fire of Spirit.
Believing we are Alive in a Living world, all things will Know their place in everything we create. Our Divine Nature exists Beyond Time, beyond the Heat and Pressure that are needed to move mountains. ALL things bend to a Creation of Divine Love.
This is a day to Celebrate at an Altar. With Vigilant Consciousness we arrive at new Summit with a Higher Consciousness of Believing.
Deer/MANIK resides in the West, the direction of the Unknown. Holding the Element of Water, MANIK can speak to the Living Water that Moves in Us. MANIK can still the Divine Waters that Run Deep.
An Ascension guided by Deer/MANIK is the Consciousness to Know we can Stand on our Own Truth. We are Divinely Guided and Divinely Gifted in Harmony and Equity. All we need to do to be a leader for others is to follow our own path.
To all my relations, may we bring an Offering of our Gratitude of Believing to our own altar. May we Give Thanks to Know we were Meant to stand on our own Truth. Our Truth is Worthy for the Time and Place where we are in the process of our Transformation. So is the Truth of others worthy for Their Time. May we See and Acknowledge the Creator is always with us to guide the way. May we use our Vigilant Consciousness to Remember.
The Elders said, “It’s not what you Know, but whether you will Remember.”

13 Deer/MANIK (Cherokee, Deer/Ahwu’sdi)
Galactic Tone 13: Ascension; Thirteen assists us to go to the next higher step, propels us to try something new or to try again. Thirteen energy takes us over the next mountain just to see what is there. Thirteen carries the last success to the newest effort. Thirteen is a number associated with the Ascended Masters, creation, expansion, and manifestation.
Deer/MANIK (Hand): Deer are spirit tools. Silence itself is a spiritual experience for Deer. For Deer life is a pilgrimage. Deer are dominant persons who defend the people and will make sacrifices for others. The spirit of Deer upholds the pillars of the four directions. With the power inherent in the number four, Deer pushes away bad influences or negative energies. Skill and quality of work are very important to Deer. They are presented with tools for every task in life and it is with these that they are able to rise above limitations. Deer has a habit of keeping every tool it has ever used. This leads to clutter and indecision, loss and procrastination. When confronted with promises not kept, Deer becomes stubborn, manipulative and evasive.
Cherokee, Deer/Ahwu’sdi: Symbolized by Constellation Galagina, the Stag, known as Taurus, the Bull. It does not include the Pleiades and Hyades clusters which in Cherokee are viewed as separate. To feed, gatherers of food and supplies, they enjoy rituals, ceremonials, feasts, the souls of hospitality, sociability. Freedom versus security issues often inspire leadership and unique solutions. Combined with artistic and inspiring energies in harmony with lunar cycles, they nourish the clans. Totem-Deer: A priest or shaman, a powerful person in general, to overwhelm an individual with one’s personal power, divination; inclined to become a teacher, healer, guru, civic leader, or politician. Ability to create harmonic resonance.
