THE TRECENA OF SERPENT/CHICCHAN
MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
Star/LAMAT is a Sign of “Pure Luck.” The focus of our attention will be Multiplied to Abundance.
Tone 4 offers an Intention of Stability. Compared to a cube, the most stable of all forms, Tone 4 defines the boundaries and parameters of dimension. Tone 4 defines a foundation of thoughts for Creation as our “rules of the game.”
Star/LAMAT symbolizes the Scion of a Divine Creator. LAMAT is the cauldron of Creation that manifests Dreams from the Overflow of Love.
The Serpent/CHICCHAN trecena has focused our thoughts on a Light Within. The experiences of Dark and the Light, like the movement of the Serpent, turn Human thoughts back and forth to lead a path forward. Dark and Light are reflected in the cycles of Time at every scale. There are Dark and Light hours, days, trecenas and rounds. (Red/Blue Day Signs are Light, and White/Yellow Day Signs are Dark.) The Light/Dark is determined by the leading Day Sign.
Star/LAMAT is a symbol of Venus that shines as the Morning and Evening Star. Second only to the Sun, Venus is the brightest Star that generates its own Light. When we are in Divine Communion with a Supreme Light, like the Morning Star, we see Light on a scale of Beauty beyond Human’s compare. Our Light barely shines at all compared to a Divine Creator, though we are still shining. We have to move into the Darkness to see the Truth of our own Light.
LAMAT’s totem is the Rabbit, Loving the object of its affection, LAMAT is associated with Instant Manifestation.
The glyph that illustrates a Star also reflects the Time and Place our Seed was planted. The Star shape reflects the hole made by a planting implement driven into Earth and moved side-to-side and up and down. The 4 directions are marked around it as a reminder that our Light was created to shine equally in all directions. Every good thing is given in Harmony and Equity for the Blessing of the Whole.
God placed our Star where our Light was intended to shine. When Human faces Darkness we want to run away. The “Sign” that we should Fight or Flee is a reflection of the two sides of our Self. Our Spirit doesn’t want to run away, but stand on the Higher Ground of Truth. Our Divine Spirit intends for the Darkness to Flee.
4 Star/LAMAT is named by the Destiny Kin 108, a Sacred Number of Hinduism and yoga. 108 represents the Wholeness of Human existence. 108 defines Human’s Full Light. 8 is the Number of Pure Spirit. 108 symbolizes Human in a state of Pure Spirit, Infinity, and Abundance, manifested by a “1 with us” that is 3 places Higher. 108 is a symbol of the Place we were given to shine, connecting the Sun, Moon, and Earth. The average distance of the Sun and the Moon to Earth is 108 times their respective diameters.
LAMAT lies in the South, representing the Intentions of Right Relationship with one another and the Natural World. Holding the Element of Earth, it marks a tangible, Human, experience.
The Powerful Light of Serpent/CHICCHAN ignites the Truth in us. Our Divine Inspiration for the Beginning was a question about Our Time and Place in the world.
The Answer lies in “pure Spirit.”
Star/LAMAT marks a day of “jumpy energy” that’s like a Rabbit. We can be paralyzed by the fear of our Truth. When we focus with Vigilant Consciousness on ways of Love, we’ll Spring for Love when a Divine Light shines the WAY.
To all my relations, may God be the Object of our Affection so Light and Unconditional Love can be multiplied to abundance.

4 Star/LAMAT (Cherokee, Rabbit/NOQUI’SEGWA)
Galactic Tone 4: Stability; the cube is most stable of all forms and establishes volume by definition of height, length, depth and breadth; 4 directions establish orientation. The energy of 4 sets the parameters, which establish the freedoms and barriers needed to create a game, work, or relationship.
Star/LAMAT: Star energy is multiplication of all things to abundance. Star has been associated with the fertility of rabbits for its ability to multiply. As each sun in the sky, Star persons shine equally in all directions. This natural tendency of harmony and balance can become compulsion, motivating Star to be too agreeable and too generous, rejected gifts cause fear and resentment. When a Star believes it has been given too much, they are weakened or may even collapse. In this “Black Hole” state, Stars are prone to verbal jousting and arguing to force their point of view on everyone.
Cherokee, Rabbit/NOQUI’SEGWA: Symbol-Venus, The Morning Star cycle of 260 days and Evening Star cycle of another 260 days, inspired the 13 numbers, 20 Day sign Sacred Calendar. Rabbit is the Trickster of Cherokee culture, matching the Coyote in other nations. The personification of Light and New Life, Sunrise, the scion (a first-generation descendant) of the Moon-Father of earth children, the Rabbit is fertility, be fruitful and multiply. Represents softness, gentleness and vulnerability. LAMAT– Totem Rabbit. Energies of re-birth, regeneration, ripening, harvest and abundance. This person is overflowing with love energy in all areas of life. Spiritual growth is natural and with ease due to the unconditional love energy that flows.
