12 Offering / MULUC – The Light of Truth: Day 12 of 13

THE TRECENA OF FLINT/ETZNAB: LIGHT OF TRUTH

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

12 Offering / MULUC

Greetings Kin,

Tone 12 holds the Intention of Understanding. Number 12 is the symbol of Humanity, the 12 tribes, the 12 disciples, and the 12 constellations. Human is set apart by the Gift to Comprehend the Truth of the Whole. As a Being of Duality, Human is marked by 2. We are identified by a Human Nature and a Divine Nature. From the Truth of One thing, we can conceive the Truth of another by comparison.

Human comprehends the Truth as a binary process. First we see a Truth from the outside as knowledge. Comprehension is the Truth we realize within from our own experience. Wisdom is a matter of consuming knowledge through an application. By Human Nature we perceive the Truth one way or another, as good or bad, hot or cold, soft or hard. And yet, the Truth we comprehend is only Relative to the value we discern as the experience. The Truth we conceive is on a sliding scale of Polarity. At what temperature does a perception of “hot” change to “cold?” Where does “hard” change to “soft” or “rough” turn to “smooth?”

12 symbolizes Human’s Power of Trinity. To comprehend the Truth of the Higher One, we invest everything that’s known from one end to the other to conceive One Higher Meaning from the Sum of the Whole.

Offering/MULUC draws us into Balance as the Unity of One. Through an Offering we are Atoned with a Mind of Divine Consciousness. Love without Conditions sees the Whole as the Truth of One. Back and forth, one Truth gives way to another depending on whether we Knew it from the Darkness or the Light of the Whole Truth. Offering/MULUC symbolizes the Sacred Exchange, guiding an Intention to Give Back and Pay Forward.

Applying the Wisdom of Divine Consciousness, the Sum of ALL Human experience manifests the Balance of Harmony and Equity. When we experience life without the whole application of our Consciousness we are only “half-awake” to the Truth. We only notice the Extreme ends of the experience. The Elders guided us to seek the Balance – to reach for the Center where we experience Peace of Mind. The challenge for Human is the perception of “more” or “less.” We’re sure that “more” is always better, though the Truth is that “more” can never balance the scale. “More” never leads to Peace of Mind. The “happiness of more” will always require “more and more,” leading to the farthest extreme from one end to the other.

Offering/MULUC symbolizes the Balance that is Created by Giving Back and Forth. Giving is the Divine Response to Receiving. The Sacred Exchange is Unconditional Love that’s Central to our Divine Design. Our Divine Nature perceives Beauty in the Balance of Harmony and Equity.

Choices made from Human’s mind of Reason are guided by the perception of Duality. Seeing the extremes of “good” and “bad” it only makes sense to want “more” or “less” of one or the other. We always want “more” of a “good” thing. Only as we lean to the “more” end of the scale, the “more” we have always becomes “less” than the “more” that could be. Our Divine Nature Knows Love as the currency of Highest Value. The illusion of Human’s ego is that “more” is the way to earn Love and Happiness.

In the Balance of the “core days” we perceive the One Truth that’s Real.

Depth perception is a faculty of two eyes focused in the same direction. When we witness the experiences of Life with both eyes looking toward the same Truth of Love, we hold the Divine Vision of Trinity that resolves all the details of matter into the Highest Truth of the Whole Divine Meaning and Purpose.

We lead shallow lives by our Human Nature, conceiving the Truth of one moment as the Sum of the Whole. Our Divine Eye is opened when both eyes are focused together to Know the Depth of Truth in Harmony, Above and Below.

MULUC is a symbol of the Moon and Water Everywhere from the Cosmos to our tears. Water is the Element that holds the Ether of our Spirit. This is a day to Honor the Emotions of the Whole. MULUC resides in the East, the direction of Divine Inspiration and the Element of Fire. Comprehension and Understanding is the Divine Offering of Truth that is taken to our Heart.

MULUC is a symbol of the “Christ Spirit” that defines the Way as a Living Sacrifice. The Elders said that when you bring an Offering, it should always represent the value that you expect to receive in the Sacred Exchange. The Greatest Offering we have to bring is a sacrifice to bear the wounds of injustice on behalf of the Whole, looking to the Highest One for the Salvation of the Whole. Forgiveness is the Highest Truth and the Keys to a Divine Kingdom of Truth that is Love in the Balance, Above and Below. Like a pyramid, the place of Highest Love, Light, and Happiness is the Holy of Holies at the apex.

The glyph illustrates a single drop of water suspended above the Whole. The single drop is one Human Being that is raised up as an Offering on behalf of the Whole. Atoned through the Gratitude of an Offering, we realize the Truth that we are Unconditionally Loving Back. This is a day to Pay Back and Pay Forward the Blessings of Beauty and Love that is the Whole Truth of our Life.

Today we can crystallize the Light of the Spark for a New Life. We’ll see through new eyes, through the Heart. We’ll know that Giving and Receiving is the Greatest Happiness we can ever know.

Where River meets the Sea

The Cherokee Day Sign is the River, representing the Living Water of Humanity that flows through everything. The Spirits of the Grandmothers and Grandfathers are held in the clouds above, fall as the rain to flow back through the River to the Sea. We are changed at the Delta. All earthly matter is left behind as we are drawn back into Unity as the One.

On Offering/MULUC the Truth is taken to Heart that Life is Beautiful. The sum of the whole is worth hanging onto until our very last breath.

To all my relations, may we Feel the Whole Truth of our Life. May we give thanks for a Divine Creation where Love goes on forever through a flow of Living Water. May we Love the Creator back, counting the Blessings that can be seen with both eyes. May we think about the Truth of Happiness we Experience when we choose to Love, Forgive, and Share our Blessings with the Whole.

May we Offer our Self as a living sacrifice, bearing the dark and light for the Divine Meaning and Purpose of knowing the Whole Truth and the Beauty of our Life. May we consecrate a new Seed in the Fires of Divine Love.

in lak’ech, I am another you

12 Offering/MULUC (Cherokee, The River/YUN’WI GUNNAHI’TA)

CORE DAYS:  The 7th Uinal in the Center of the Tzolk’in is compared to our own axis mundi, the center of our own universe where we are always perfectly positioned at the center of the 4 directions. The axis is the “line around which any body rotates.” Like a spinning gyroscope, we find our balance in a relationship shared between the Above and the Below. Holding a focus within the center of our Self, we reside in the place of perfect balance.

Galactic Tone 12: Understanding. This number’s energy is a gift of great capability of retrospection. It is this ability that allows Twelve to connect disassociated parts into a (new) functioning whole. The energy of Twelve is that which presents a new piece of understood information or accumulated experience to be applied.

Offering/MULUC: Also known as the sign of water. Ceremonially, Maya use water as an offering in baptisms and purification. These ceremonies are done to bring about a collective strength, adaptability and harmony. In sincere appreciation, Offering people gladly give more than they ask for themselves. Offering persons are dynamic communicators with great intelligence making them excellent employers. Like a shaken vessel of water, Offering people regain equilibrium quickly. Also like a body of water, there may be deep undercurrents of emotion and hidden dangers. Others perceive these as hidden agendas in offering people and so extend them little trust and may even slap blame on them.

Cherokee, The River/YUN’WI GUNNAHI’TA:  The River is symbolized by The Milky Way, the Gihli’Utsun’stanun’yi “Where the Dog Ran” to gather the souls for Heaven.  The River is the minion for Grandfather Moon.  Long Man is the personification of the River stretching from the mountains to the lowlands, speaking to those who can understand.  People of this sign find “sermons in the stones” and good in everything.  These souls march to a different drummer, driven by inner volcanic forces.  The Moon controls our fluid cycle, to clear and understand emotional issues.  When you take this step to clear the emotional body, then you are ready for transformational energies at the next level.  As humans, our actions are ruled by our emotions, the key is to understand the connection and honor the emotions.
