THE TRECENA OF WIND/IK: THE TRUTH OF DIVINE WILL
MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
Tone 10 holds the Intention of Manifestation. To manifest a New Life we have to claim it’s True. Tone 10 is said to present a challenge. 10 symbolizes the Whole Investment Above and Below. What has been focused on by Intention becomes Real on Tone 10.
We see the Truth from a Higher Point of View. We can claim a New Life through the Truth that we are creating our own Reality. We can wear the “rose colored glasses” when we Remember the Choice. There’s enough Beauty all around to hold Faith in a Divine Hand.
Monkey/CHUEN shares the pinnacle position with Dog/OC. We are given the eyes of a Master Artist to see and acknowledge the beauty all around. The Monkey celebrates Consciousness the way the Dog celebrates Love. Dog Loves Life. The Monkey/CHUEN sees the amazing opportunity to create it.
CHUEN always applies a Sense of Humor while it shares the Truth with our Heart. Lying in the direction of the West, the Monkey shares an approach to the Unknown Experiences of Life. Once the matters of Love are out of the Way, the Monkey doesn’t take Human doubts and fear so seriously. CHUEN can inspire our curiosity about all the Human expressions of Love, and how backwards they can be.
For one thing, you wouldn’t find Monkey/CHUEN crying over lost Love. Love is impossible to “go missing” when we hold the Power to create it.
The Raccoon is the nahaul of the Cherokee tradition, another friendly trickster. The Raccoon knows that Love is always beautiful when it’s been cleaned up with a little Water. The Raccoon can be like the bandit Robin Hood, not above stealing, when important resources aren’t being put to good use.
On 10 Monkey/CHUEN we’re guided to claim the Beauty made possible by 2 Hands, a Hand Above and a Hand Below.
Monkey/CHUEN is the Time Weaver. The glyph illustrates “time rolled up” on the Monkey’s head. Aware of its own faculties of Consciousness, the Monkey is fascinated by the journey through Time and the Power to go back and forth. Through the Gift of Consciousness we share the grasp of a temporal experience. We can choose to see ahead to another Time and another Season.
That’s exactly why we should never expect an experience to reflect the whole truth in one moment. Sometimes the meaning and purpose of the moment is just to get our attention. Monkey/CHUEN is curious about what captures our attention to see ALL the details.
CHUEN is the Master of all Arts who rearranges the threads of our experience into a beautiful tapestry of life. With an eye for Time, CHUEN raises our consciousness to unfolding beauty. We can grasp the Truth that some of our “worst” experiences of life manifested a “greater good.” CHUEN is healed of Human Emotions. Unafraid of the Feelings, CHUEN intends to express the Greatest Beauty it Sees. Though, CHUEN seldom finishes anything. Before it finishes one masterpiece, it sees another shiny thing that could be even more beautiful.
CHUEN reminds us that sometimes our Human rules about Love don’t make any sense. We get to choose when a creation begins and when its over. We won’t cry over our sad ending with the Wisdom to claim our Dream isn’t over, yet! We were given many talents. Life can be beautiful exploring them all when you believe Dreams ARE true. CHUEN holds the potential to claim the realm of Spirit is the Real world, and Below is the reflection of all the thoughts without a meaning that can guide our life.
To all my relations, may we see and acknowledge the gifts of consciousness. May we kneel to the One who will help us figure out what to do with it.
in lak’ech, i am another you

10 Monkey/CHUEN (Cherokee, Raccoon/ KVH’LI)
Galactic Tone 10: Manifestation. What were once intentions or ideas, hopes or fears become physically present with the energy of Ten. What is focused upon with attention and intention becomes real with Ten. Ten is a powerful energy that carries a great responsibility.
Monkey/CHUEN: Monkey is known to the Maya as the Weaver or Weaver of Time. Monkey takes ideas as threads of vines and weaves them into the fabric of our reality. New patterns or inventions are also woven into our lives by Monkey. Amiable, intelligent, generous and a jack of all trades, Monkey’s innocent curiosity leads to artistic expression and constructive solutions. Many Monkeys become highly respected merchants or speakers. They love performing practical jokes and crave attention, so much so that they may over-act or play the fool to get the spotlight. Monkeys have a short attention span and find it difficult to stay with anything long enough to master it.
Cherokee, Raccoon/KVH’LI: Star Symbol: Algol, a star in Perseus. Restless energy yearning for long-lost love. Algol was named DEMON STAR or MISCHIEVOUS ONE by the Ancients because it winks and fades at times. Raccoons are full of friendly mischief, eager to swap kisses for candy; magnetic leaders, full of humor and gaiety. Favorite food is corn, the mainstay of the Cherokee. Very artistic while being the “masked bandit” who steals your heart. Totem Monkey: The energy of humor, the artisan and craftsmen of the Universal energy. Helps us to lighten up in all situations, was the glyph of the 4th world creation in conjunction with OC so that we would have humor in all of our endeavors. The humor, when added to a serious situation will allow you to have a less destructive pattern of resolution. This is the “Cosmic joke” energy to help us transcend the duality. A life path of comedian, actor, artist, artisan writer, satirist, any path is enhanced with this humor in conjunction with the creative energies.
