THE TRECENA OF SUN/AHAU: APPLYING THE LIGHT TO LIFE
Happy Supermoon in Aquarius! May you be blessed for a new beginning walking with the Sun!
I worked overtime yesterday and thought I was taking a late nap, only it was a long sleep.
Hope you are rested up too for a new journey!
Life will be grand with the Supreme Lord of Creation by our side. I’ll look ahead to the important dates in Time and post an update after work!
much love, in lak’ech, Debra

1 Sun / AHAU
Greetings Kin,
The Next 13-Days…
Sun/AHAU is the Supreme Creator, the Master of Light and Lord of Time. Every climb begins from the Higher Ground of the Truth we gathered before. The Mayan priest, Deer/MANIK, showed us the way to Know we’re standing on Holy Ground. We’ll always see a Higher Truth when we kneel at an altar, looking up from the place we are. We’re kneeling where the Light will break.
We saw a Power of Truth that shines for us. It was the Offering from Above, the way to manifest our Dream of Happiness in Harmony with the Whole. We know we’re carrying out an Act of God, when the sacrifice is a Choice to Give Back and Pay Forward what was already given. Salvation is already ours from the Highest One who never saw a fault.
We don’t have to be “better” anymore. Our Heart was claimed by the Heart of Sky, the bolt of CAUAC’s Lightning that Reached Down from Above. We met in the middle, where our little streamer of Faith could be claimed as “One the Same” thing.
Giving is not part of Human Nature, until we know our basic needs are covered. Held by the Light, reaching for Our Love. No shadow could cast a veil over the Beauty we will Remember, knowing our Spark is Loved as a little piece of the Creator’s Heart and Soul. We could be the Master’s dog, if we wanted to be, and it would be just as divine to hear the call. Being Faithful and Loyal is easier to imagine, following the Dog/OC of Unconditional Love.
Cycle of Darkness (Yellow Day Sign)
We have to climb through the darkness to claim OUR Truth by the Wisdom of Experience. It’s Our Truth that’s different, because we’re in a different Time and Place. The Eagle taught us to fly by Intuition, leaning in to the Wind, the “truth that is.” of the Light. We have to apply Truth we accepted for a Leap of Faith to know whether our Own Truth can stand. The Intention is to see how Truth plays out in the Unknown, holding Faith to Believe.
The 3rd Uinal
1 Sun/AHAU completes the 2nd uinal of the Tzolk’in. In the harvest cycle of the 260-day Tzolk’in round, we are completing our germination. We made our way through the darkness underground. In the 3rd Uinal of 20-days, we reach the Light. Number 3 holds an Intention of Movement. The 2nd uinal, like the 2nd Tone, marks a Human experience of Duality. We were the Seed working our way through the darkness to reach the Truth of Light Above. All our effort was invested in the Human Will “to be or not to be” Divine Human Beings. We saw the dark and the light of the Whole. We were guided to see the Truth of the way things are in the beginning, so we will know the Truth of the Light in the end. The 3rd uinal initiates Movement that brings a new Divine Intention to Life, and a New Revelation of a Divine Power Above.
Holy Day: 8 Deer/MANIK
On the Peak Tone 8 of “pure spirit” our Transformation begins as a Divine Initiation. 8 Deer/MANIK is the Holy Day observed as a celebration for the Mayan priest, and the Day of Initiation for those who Choose to follow. 8 Deer/MANIK is the first Holy Initiation of the Tzolk’in round. A Guiding Light will consecrate the path we’ve chosen as Our Way. We were all given the Freedom to Believe in our own way. Love is “One the Same.” A Divine Creator consecrates the Dedicated Path of the Deer with Holy Water to be a Path of Beauty that will be the Gift of Harmonic Resonance – a Light that others will Feel in Sympathy.
Guardian of Ascension
13 Road/EB marks our Ascension. 13 always means the Answer to a prayer. Road/EB is Human, the Aztec call Grass. The Road leads us to the Truth that we can be trampled, and held down for a time, but the Grass will always Rise again. Our Destiny will be knowing we will Rise to the Occasion of our Own New Beginning.
Tone 1 is the 1st Light of Inspiration. AHAU resides in the South, as a Light for Right Relationship Through the Element of Earth we are connected to one another and the Natural World. Sun is the guiding Light to live in the Full Light of Truth. The Cherokee Day Sign is the Flower, the face that follows the Light across the sky. Earth is about tangible experience. This is a Time to Honor the Relationship with the Sun, seeing and acknowledging the gift of warmth and light.
The indigenous tribes saw the Sun as a Way Station, delivering the Light of the Universe. The photons from the Sun are electromagnetic particles of Energy that goes right through us, activating the pineal gland and changing our Human dna. Human is called by the Light, drawn to the Light. The Elders taught us to Eat the Light. At the Sunrise Blessing we scooped it up across the horizon to draw it to our mouth 4 times, to acknowledge what is True. Like the Flowers we give the Sun some loving attention, and watch it as our Guiding Light. At the end of the day the Elders say to offer the experience and let worries go down with the Setting Sun. Some Daykeepers in the Western world hold to a tradition of sending Love around on the Sun, to be Present with the Light that shines with the Dawn in the East.
The path of Beauty can be as beautiful as we want it to be. The Monkey hopes we will at least give it a shot. Just in case Real means REAL. In isolation I’ve carried on a friendship with a squirrel that’s as beautiful as any relationship I know… when the little one looks to me for a peanut. It’s TIME to dig our teeth into Life for all the Beauty that will be ours to Remember. May we build the Power of Love through all the willing volunteers that are grateful to be seen, living their beautiful way. May we do more than look. May we try-on the lives we like best. We could fly with the birds to the top of the trees. There’s endless roads that lead to Harmony and Happiness. Every moment we create adds another Truth that’s Real to Remember.
Tone 1 is the day of inertia, after the crashing wave of Tone 13’s energy. It’s always a good day to take things slow. It’s hard to be productive on Tone 1. We might actually lose time trying to be productive, when we can’t concentrate. We will more than make up for the Time on the Day of Movement. The lesson for the first 2 days is “Let it Be.” We’ll have the clear picture of “what it is” and “what to do” on Tone 3.
A DIVINE CREATOR will be walking by our Side, like the Light over our shoulder who has the Divine Answer for everything. There won’t be any doubts and fears when we’re on the Road with the Master of everything. Our ONLY CHALLENGE… Will We REMEMBER? We’re not alone. When we remember, we won’t forget.
To all my relations, may we make it our mission to see the Light in our life. May we be guided by the Light that holds the Authority of Time and Place. May we remember all the Divine Choices we can make.
May we Humble our Self to the Lord of Time that LOVES every moment of our Human “sacrifice” to be Happy. A Divine Father will have a way to get us up and out the door. May we give thanks for that part of us that carries on with the strength of a warrior, and the part that bends in Humility when we Know We Can. If we just keep going, it’s a Promise that’s a Law of the Universe.

HOLDING THE WAY OF THE JAGUAR: The Power of Gratitude
I’m grateful for the Divine Relationship with the One and the Whole… and a Divine Provision for Happiness.
THE TRECENA OF SUN/AHAU – WALKING IN THE LIGHT
Visit the 13-Day Trecena Guide for highlights of the Deer/MANIK trecena.
The “Tzolk’in Field Guide” includes a Count of Days and aspects for days and the trecena, available to download in Volumes 1 and 2.
The “Destiny Kin Calculator” is another tool as an Excel spreadsheet calculator that works off the Kin number to know a Gregorian Date. I use it to find the Gregorian Dates for the Holy Days of the Tzolk’in. You can also use it to know when you’ll celebrate your next Mayan birthday.
1 Sun/AHAU (Cherokee, Flower/GUN’TSI EK)
Galactic Tone 1: Unity. One is the beginning of all things, the first, the whole and the all in one. One’s are assertive and self-guided and give a good push to whatever project they are associated with. One persons work best when meeting a challenge. Do not expect One-persons to be attentive to details or to put the finishing touches on things.
Sun/AHAU: Day of the ancestors and connection to their guidance. The divine face of the sun – lord, musician, singer, dancer, and marksman. Suns are artistic, heroic athletes, visionaries with wise judgment who lead and defend the people. So much is expected from themselves and by other people that unfulfilled expectations are a certainty. An accumulation of these disappointments may lead Sun to evade responsibilities, not accept corrections and even build resentment and disdain towards others. Suns should simplify their lives to be able to rise and shine with unconditional love once again.
Cherokee, Flower/GUN’TSI EK: Symbol is the Sun, place of abode of Great Spirit. The Sun creates, nurtures, and is the super communicator, the way station that relays messages and energy from other stars in the galaxy; provides energy for channeling information from the Ancestors; speaking the Living Language of Light, which ignites the consciousness in others. Gold is the color of courage and opportunity of wealth. Creative arts, master craftsman expressing divinity and wisdom through their creations. The face of the flower follows the Sun gathering the fire of creativity, illuminating harmony and balance, resonating peace and continuity within the human spirit. This is the Sign of the Chalice of the Infinite, Caldron of Creation.
