8 Offering / MULUC

Greetings Beloved Kin,

Peak Tone 8 is the Holy Day of each trecena that holds the Intention of Justice in Harmony and Equity of the Whole. Tone 8 begins the transformation phase for every 13-day trecena, representing the 7 days and 6 nights of creation.

Every transformation is built on the Truth we learned before. In the last trecena MULUC guided us to see the Truth of the Sacred Exchange. With every offering to Love on behalf of the whole, a Divine Creator promises to fulfill the Sacred Exchange.

MULUC is a symbol of the Moon, our Emotions, and Water everywhere from the cosmos to our own tears. This is a day to honor our feelings and the feelings of the whole. Feelings matter, “right” or “wrong.” We don’t have to agree to understand how someone feels.

MULUC holds the power to heal our emotions on a mass scale. We’re healed by a sacrifice from the heart. MULUC is a symbol of the “Christ spirit,” the wounded healer. We’re healed through every offering to give back and pay forward the Creator’s Love and Forgiveness.

8 Offering/MULUC marks the Day of a Divine Offering. The Number 8 is a symbol of Life and Abundance to Infinity. The Maya define 8 as the number of “pure spirit.” Holding the Element of Fire, Human matters are burned away by the Truth of the Creator’s Love.

Human Beings are Sacred to the Creator as the Ones who Bear the Time and make the Sacrifice to Love. Through an offering we are promised the Atonement. Through the Creator’s eyes we can see how much we are loved for the sacrifice, no matter how we’ve failed. In the Light of the Creator’s Love, we realize we are “enough” and the Truth of a Divine Provision for all our limitations.

The  Elders taught us that with every offering we should give something in equal measure to what we expect to receive. It’s a Common Human way to consider what is worthy as a gift for the Ones we Love. The best place to start is to Count our Blessings. When we do, we’ll see how the Creator’s offering of Love never ends. We could never repay the blessings. Through our Gratitude we will always find a Divine Reason to Love and Forgive. The Elders say that what we Heal in our Self, we heal for the Whole.

The Cherokee Day Sign is The River, the Living Water of our Spirit. Love follows its Course of Least Resistance back through the Rivers to the Body of the One. We were born through Water, and through Forgiveness, we’ll be Consecrated for a New Life.

There will always be injustice to bear in the down below. A Divine Creator bears witness to every heartache and every burden we carry that wasn’t our fault. Proving we’re “right” doesn’t heal a broken heart. The Creator is the only one who knows all the troubles we’ve seen. We can let go of our expectations for someone else to understand, and Give Thanks that God know our whole story and promises to make it right.

The Offering from Above is exalted in its zenith Light on 8 MULUC. Forgiveness is the offering that proves we’re worthy, in spite of our limitations. Forgiveness offers another chance to live and love again.

A Divine Creator can bring peace to our soul and restore the equilibrium of Love with every offering. MULUC holds the Element of Fire that can burn away human matters of limitation, to restore the Truth of our longing to be enough. May we live and let live believing the Truth for Understanding will speak for itself in God’s Time.

MULUC is a day to give thanks for gift of water and to pray for the blessing to be shared in harmony and equity with the whole. All water is Holy as the Element that holds the Ether of our Spirit.

in lak’ech, i am another you

8 Offering/MULUC (Cherokee, The River/YUN’WI GUNNAHI’TA)

Galactic Tone 8: Justice. Harmony and balance are the intent of Eight. Eights carefully weigh all evidence to reach a balance of justice. Eight is the power of organization demonstrated in the statement, “As above, so below”. From simplicity to infinity, the energy of Eight organizes all levels of creation. Some Eights are “Neat Freaks”.

Offering/MULUC: Also known as the sign of water. Ceremonially, Maya use water as an offering in baptisms and purifications. These ceremonies are done to bring about a collective strength, adaptability and harmony. In sincere appreciation, Offering people gladly give more than they ask for themselves. Offering persons are dynamic communicators with great intelligence making them excellent employers. Like a shaken vessel of water, Offering people regain equilibrium quickly. Also like a body of water, there may be deep undercurrents of emotion and hidden dangers. Others perceive these as hidden agendas in offering people and so extend them little trust and may even slap blame on them.

Cherokee, The River/YUN’WI GUNNAHI’TA:  The River is symbolized by The Milky Way, the Gihli’Utsun’stanun’yi “Where the Dog Ran” to gather the souls for Heaven.  The River is the minion for Grandfather Moon.  Long Man is the personification of the River stretching from the mountains to the lowlands, speaking to those who can understand.  People of this sign find “sermons in the stones” and good in everything.  These souls march to a different drummer, driven by inner volcanic forces.  The River is the “Fountain of Life” and represents the fluid of the cosmos to fluids in the body, with the energy to clear all karmic debts, personally and on a mass level with fluidity and grace.  The Moon controls our fluid cycle, to clear and understand emotional issues.  When you take this step to clear the emotional body, then you are ready for transformational energies at the next level.  As humans, our actions are ruled by our emotions, the key is to understand the connection and honor the emotions.
