SPACEWEATHER.COM NEWS: 08/18/2023
SOLAR ACTIVITY IS LOW: Yesterday, NOAA reported that “solar activity was low.” We agreed. This is what low solar activity looks like.

C-5 Solar Flare, Spaceweather.com
The movie shows a magnetic filament erupting on Aug. 17th around 1200 UT. Earth-orbiting satellites reported a C5-class solar flare, and SOHO observed a CME flying into space. The explosion released about as much energy as a billion WWII atomic bombs. Only on the sun, which is itself a 1027 ton self-contained nuclear explosion, would such a blast be considered “low activity.” Compared to much-stronger X-flares, however, this was indeed weak.

HYPERBOLIC COMET NISHIMURA
HYPERBOLIC COMET NISHIMURA: A hyperbolic comet is falling into our solar system. Japanese amateur astronomer Hideo Nishimura discovered it just a few days ago in the constellation Gemini. Although it is relatively dim right now (magnitude +9), Comet Nishimura (C/2023 P1) could soon brighten more than 100-fold to become a naked-eye object in mid-September.

A “hyperbolic comet” is a comet with too much energy to remain trapped inside the solar system. It will visit us only once, with the sun acting as a gravitational slingshot, sending the comet hurtling back into deep space after its flyby. Does that mean Comet Nishimura is an interstellar comet? Not necessarily. It might have come from the Oort Cloud. Indeed, that is more likely.
Because this is Comet Nishimura’s first trip to the inner solar system, it is extra unpredictable. On Sept. 18th, the comet will make its closest approach to the sun deep inside the orbit of Mercury. Anything could happen when intense sunlight touches the comet’s pristine surface for the first time. Possibilities range from dramatic brightening to a disappointing fizzle. Standard models suggest a peak brightness of 3rd magnitude. This would make it visible to the naked eye from rural areas.
Monitoring is encouraged. Comet Nishimura can be found in the pre-dawn sky using backyard telescopes larger than 6 inches. A date of particular interest is Aug. 25th when the comet lines up with Gemini’s brightest stars, Castor and Pollux, making it particularly easy to find. Sky maps: Aug. 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, from JPL.

New Moon August 16, 2023 (First quarter ends August 25, 2023)
When the sun, moon, and Earth are in alignment (at the time of the new or full moon), the solar tide has an additive effect on the lunar tide, creating extra-high high tides, and very low, low tides—both commonly called spring tides.
High tides are formed on new moon and full moon night. Q. Assertion (A): During the Neap Tides, the high tide is lower and the low tide is higher than usual. Reason (R): The Neap Tide, unlike the Spring Tide, occurs on the New Moon instead of on the Full Moon. (NASA results on Google)
Planting is best on the New Moon when the water table is raised in the Earth. The water table is the upper surface of the zone of saturation. The first quarter maintains the conditions and time for germination. The water in “human’s earth” is affected too. Our Spirits are raised and the conditions for the germination of a “seed of creation” is right, the closer you set your Intentions to the date of the New Moon. The August New Moon was forecast with some questionable counter-influences from the gravitational pull of the planets, with a suggestion to wait until the day after on August 17, 2023.
You can learn the most powerful influences from the Sun and the Moon cycles. Astronomer’s recently discovered that gravity creates sound. (Resource) Our inner resonance is effected by the sounds of the universe that can influence our body and emotions. It’s likely our brain is receiving more circulation of living water (my theory). I’m a Virgo. I need to find a reasonable explanation for everything. 🙂
So, we have solar flares with the force of a billion bombs going off on the Sun, and water rising that can influence our passion and resolve to begin something new that will bring our Life into a new balance. And, this month there’s a second Blue Moon. The association with Divine Justice is that WHATEVER seed we plant is going to draw an Abundant Harvest. Plus, mammoth Saturn “the taskmaster” has been hanging around, so we’ll be driven to work a little harder to stand up straight. I choose to see that All Signs are good for Humanity in a Divine Order of the Universe, for the Highest Good of the Whole.
UPDATE: I forgot that the two Full Moon is August are Super Moons!
A supermoon is a full moon or a new moon that nearly coincides with perigee—the closest that the Moon comes to the Earth in its elliptic orbit—resulting in a slightly larger-than-usual apparent size of the Moon as viewed from Earth. The technical name is a perigee syzygy or a full Moon around perigee. Wikipedia

Descriptions by Ian Xel Lungold (12 Sun/AHAU), wisdom preserved on MayanMajix.com
Galactic Tone 9: Patience. The energy of Nine is one of the getting a better perspective of the bigger picture. With the energy of Nine plans or patterns begin to come to completion. Nine requires patience and perseverance that is found in the bigger picture, otherwise there is great suffering from the lack of insight. The completion of cycles of action is all-important to Nine.
Road/EB: The bearer of time and conductor of destiny; also known as Human; these persons open the road and guide to the future groups, communities and individuals alike. Likable, obedient, dedicated hard workers and organizers, Road persons are fortunate in business and travel. Many become care takers of the poor, sick, or old people, where they may make personal sacrifices. Road is sometimes referred to as the sign of grass, which is the most bountiful of all life forms, but is also the most humble. Road persons are affectionate and emphatic; they are easily hurt but slow to anger. Holding in of negative emotions and unexpressed resentment can lead to illness, a poisoned opinion of others and a false bravado for this sun sign.
A GOOD DAY TO: Do some community service.

Cherokee, Rattlesnake Tooth/KANU’GA: Symbolized by a rainbow, the delicate display of electromagnetic rays of the SUN. Rattlesnake Tooth is the Natal day sign of Medicine, the Shaman, the Priest, the Healer, and the Sorcerer. Guardian of the Way, Keeper of the Keys of the secret Kingdom.
