SPACEWEATHER: An M-Class Mystery and Mystery Comet

M1-class solar flare on Aug. 26th (2250 UT)

SPACEWEATHER.COM NEWS: August 27, 2023

A CME IS HEADING FOR MARS: The “mystery explosion” described below has hurled a CME toward Mars. A NASA model suggests it will hit the Red Planet on Sept. 1st. The impact will probably spark ultraviolet auroras on Mars and erode a small amount of the planet’s atmosphere. Solar flare alerts: SMS Text

‘M’ IS FOR MYSTERY (UPDATED): Earth-orbiting satelites detected an M1-class solar flare on Aug. 26th (2250 UT), but we’re not sure what caused it. Here is the spray of debris flying up from the blast site.

The source of the flare is hidden behind the sun’s eastern limb, so we can’t see it from Earth. Neither NASA’s Perseverance Mars rover (which has a direct view of the area) nor helioseismic echoes of the sun’s farside indicate a sunspot at that location–so it’s a bit of a mystery. Soon we will find out. The sun’s rotation will turn the blast site toward us in a few days.

Update: This was a long duration flare that had plenty of time to lift a CME out of the sun’s atmosphere. Indeed, SOHO coronagraphs have detected a bright CME emerging from the blast site. It will not hit Earth.

HYPERBOLIC COMET UPDATE: Comet Nishimura (C/2023 P1) is falling toward the sun for a close encounter on Sept. 13th. Currently, it is just outside the orbit of Venus, and accelerating toward Mercury’s orbit. Austrian astronomer Michael Jaeger photographed the hyperbolic comet on Aug. 24th and found that it has grown a 1-degree-long tail:

Since it was discovered in mid-August, Comet Nishimura has more than tripled in brightness–a sign that it is feeling the heat of the approaching sun. Its green head now shines like an 8th magnitude star. Friday morning, Aug. 25th, is a good time to observe it. Drawing a line through the brightest stars of Gemini (Castor and Pollux) leads directly to the comet in the morning predawn sky: finder chart.

NOTE: A hyperbolic comet is defined as a comet that is highly unpredictable that will only travel through the Solar System once, with the Sun acting as a gravitational slingshot, sending the comet hurtling out of the Solar System entirely unless its eccentricity is otherwise changed.

Mercury retrograde currently resides in Virgo, while Venus retrograde still shines in Leo. The Blue Supermoon August 30-31, 2023, falls in Pisces, to reflect the Light of our Human emotions and our Spirit’s longing to be.

The mystery of the M-class flare is forecast by Spaceweather.com as the day after, September 1, 2023.  That date on the Tzolk’in calendar is 10 Transformer/CIMI (kee mee), as the manifestation of a Major Life Change. MayanMajix.com Date Calculator

The  Dawn of a New Awakening

5 Crocodile/IMIX (Cherokee, Turtle/DAK’SI) –  Day 5 of 13 Days that were created by the One Above. in the 1 Earth/CABAN trecena that calls to our Heart to Life within.

Descriptions by Ian Xel Lungold (12 Sun/AHAU), wisdom preserved on MayanMajix.com

Galactic Tone 5: Empowerment. At the center of the cube we find Five. Five is an intelligent, organizing force which manages communications and materials, knowledge and application. Fives are natural net workers who gather what is needed. These persons can probe directly to the core of any situation making them excellent investigators.

Crocodile/IMIX: Crocodile receives messages of primal creative force; simply the beginning of all things. Crocodiles who follow their hearts are seen as genius. There is no order to the primal messages, so Crocodile persons should direct their energies toward practical and cooperative efforts to bring productive results. Crocodiles have a strong nurturing energy and will work hard to provide security to family and friends. Being extremely territorial, Crocodiles must watch not to be over protective or too dominating. While in these states, Crocodiles are insecure, indecisive and emotionally volatile.

Cherokee Turtle/ DAK’SI   I’SB: Turtle Island; direction East. The Turtle Constellation Orion, one of three stars in the Cosmic Egg, to the Maya, the Cosmic Hearth. Turtle is the Energy of Creative force at the one-on-one, personal level; dawn, awakening, birth.
