Greetings Beloved Kin,

The last time around we were stepping into a New Year, 12 Road/EB (March 31, 2023 to March 30, 2024). This time we’re stepping into the shoes of a New Life. As the 2nd trecena of the Tzolk’in round, the Jaguar/IX trecena is the “dark” cycle of learning the Truth of our Identity and Power to Create by the Wisdom of our own Experience. We ascended to the altar of 13 Reed/BEN to open the channel of Spirit. A Vision Quest is Time set aside Intentionally for a Divine Meaning and Purpose.

The Jaguar/IX trecena is Time for personal reflection and a private conversation with the Creator. Crocodile/IMIX shared the Source of every Divine Idea, and will carry our Dream beyond Human limitations. It’s Time to put Truth into practice to create the Wisdom of our own experience.

The Vision Quest is traditionally a 4-day ceremony of silence, fasting, and isolation. We have two days to think about it before Spirit Moves Us on Tone 3. 4 days will lead us to the Holy of Holies at the top of the pyramid.

 

COMPLETING THE 1ST UINAL
The peak of our climb, 7 Sun/AHAU, marks the end of the 1st uinal. The new Seed of our Self is moving through the darkness to the Light. The Darkness is always the Time for walking by Faith. Our Divine Direction is in the opposite direction of the gravity of the world that holds us down. In Unity with the One, we’ll reach Higher Ground, where we see the Light of a Choice. Then, we’ll spend the next 20 days, considering one Divine Way or Another.

This is Time to create a space in Time for personal reflection with the Intention of a Divine Conversation with the Creator. Sacred Ceremony can be carried out in any realm of Consciousness. You can make a sacred ceremony of doing the dishes. Housekeeping can be carried out as an Intention to prepare a Sanctuary. The Intention is Divinely ordered this round with the Dreamtime of Winter and the Holidays celebrated by our Ancient Ancestors.

The Jaguar is a symbol of 7, as the nahaul that guards the threshold of the Holy of Holies at the top of the pyramid. The Jaguar holds Position 14, two 7’s, one above and below. The realm of Spirit is the experience that’s Real. The down-below is the Illusion of our Collective Consciousness, ie. what we “think we see” and what we “think it means.” At the peak of our climb the Truth will speak for itself.

The Jaguar/IX trecena is a cycle of heightened sensitivity. Like the newborn’s introduction to the world, we are thin-skinned. In the first trecena we saw our arms and legs flailing. Watching others we imagined what we could do when we learned how to use them. We had new thoughts running through our mind as endless questions. Jaguar/IX is a “dark” cycle that reveals the Wisdom of our own Experience. It’s time to direct our Movement by an Intention of Spirit. The 1st uinal is the cycle of Germination. We’re making our way to the Light of seeing who we are.

The Elders said the old ways were proven and worthy tools that we can borrow until we create our own myths. The Vision Quest Ceremony page offers some traditional ideas. There’s no right or wrong way. The Elders taught us to ask the Grandfathers and Grandmothers for their forgiveness for our failure to carry it out their perfect way. Follow what your heart tells you to do. If you get the thought to bring an offering to the altar, just obey. When the Creator knows we’re listening, the Creator will multiply the blessing.

I’m cleaning and resetting the altars in white as a symbol of the Purity of the Intention. We can begin in gratitude for all the Spiritual Tools that have been passed down before, and choose what they will mean to help us remember. We ask permission and state our Intention to use them for a Divine Meaning and Purpose. We can build a sanctuary within, and with every return bring something new to the altar.

The Element of Air relates to Human’s faculties of thought. The Truth of every experience holds the Power to change our mind.

The Panther is symbolized by comets, meteors, and fireballs. A Spirit Quest is time to look for Signs and Wonders. Look to the Heart of Sky to see what you can see in clouds by day and the stars by night. Keep a notebook to track your thoughts and feelings. Listen for the Creator’s Voice in the Wind. We have major solar storms heading our way as we are reaching peak activity of this 11-year cycle of solar activity.  Greet the Sun to Receive the Blessing.

The Creator speaks to us through through the Solar Winds. We can receive the Sound and Vibration with the Sunrise.

The blackout was not completely silent, however. Minutes after it began, the sun filled the quietude with a roar of static. It was a Type II solar radio burst caused by shock waves in the leading edge of a CME emerging from the blast site.

“The shock wave packed a punch!” says Ashcraft. “You can hear what it sounded like in this 90 second audio file.“

Time is a Divine Offering for Right Relationship, worthy of the One who carries our Highest Hopes to their Divine End. This is a journey of invisibility, an experience that is held close to the heart in secret with the Creator.

Tone 1 holds the Intention of Unity, ordered for the 1st light of Inspiration. Every wave of Time begins from the energy of Inertia. On Tones 1 and 2 it’s hard to get anything done. We’ll make up for the Time when we reach the Tone 3 of Movement. Tone 1 is the Seed of an idea. Tone 2 is the choice of one way or another, and to be or not to be. We have two days to imagine our own way.

Jaguar/IX is a symbol of the Divine Feminine of Compassionate Love and Discernment. IX is the shaman and the shapeshifter who can travel to any time and place, and step into anyone’s shoes. Draw close to Mother Earth and step into the shoes of a living creation of Nature. Share the Beauty you see as an offering to Mother Earth.  Kneel in Humility to the Power that Created the Universe and Give Thanks for Life in a living world.

Our Rituals and Sacred Ceremonies are often Human efforts of blood, sweat and tears. The Truth is invisible. The “Spiritual Experience” of a Higher Truth comes after we’ve invested our Heart.

The Guardian of the IX trecena is 13 Transformer/CIMI – the symbol of the Holy Spirit and the Comforter that will always be by our side. 13 CIMI is the Divine Sign of a Major Life Change on the scale of “life and death.” The Seed of our Higher Self is growing in the darkness of the Unknown. On 13 CIMI we’ll break through to the Light. CIMI will share the Gift of Clairvoyance to see a vision of the Future in plain sight.

To the Highest One, on behalf of every Heart that reaches to know you,

Cover us under your wing. Open our eyes to the Truth. Thank you for the Comfort and Presence of the Holy Spirit that will guide us invisibility through every worldly matter that could stand in our way. Help us remember to Count our Blessings and open our eyes to the Beauty in every direction. 

Thank you for Love that accepts us as we are.  Help us to see our self through your eyes.

THE JAGUAR’S “EARTH MAGIC” OF GRATITUDE
I’m grateful for a Season of Divine Holidays and the Winter Solstice that was celebrated by our ancient ancestors, aligned with the sacred sites around the world. 

The Jaguar is a nahaul of Beauty, Personal Power and Strength. May we tread lightly on Mother Earth, and leave a heavy footprint behind. Remember, we’re the New Seed. We’re living to be who we are and no harm can come to us under the cloak of invisibility.

Galactic Tone 1: Unity. One is the beginning of all things, the first, the whole and the all in one. One’s are assertive and self-guided and give a good push to whatever project they are associated with. One persons work best when meeting a challenge. Do not expect One-persons to be attentive to details or to put the finishing touches on things.

Jaguar/IX: Born with a deep love of the Mother Earth, Jaguar or shaman is directly tied to the source of all Earth magic. They possess great power of intellect and strength or character through integrity. Jaguar energy is feminine in nature and is the ruling spirit of jungles, plains, and mountains. The spirit of Jaguar inhabits the Mayan temples and is called on to assist in spiritual as well as in material ways. Jaguar is also the god/goddess of gratefulness. Patience born of strength and skill can turn to pounce of quick decision and action. Both bold and stealthful, Jaguars do not often attack directly and communications from them usually contain some mystery. In the absence of integrity, Jaguars power corrupts becoming a search for wealth and fame.

A GOOD DAY TO: Commune and give thanks to Mother Nature.

Cherokee, Panther/SAHO’NI: Panther is symbolized by comets, meteors, shooting stars, fireballs, and magicians.  Meteors appearing around the middle of November are Heralds of the Coming of the Light, the Cherokee New Year. Panther is the Shadow of the Sphinx, Herald of the Dawn, guardian of the night when the sun is traveling through the underworld. Panthers have unlimited imaginations, visualizations, and are spellbinding speakers. The Totem Jaguar is the guardian of the portals to other dimensions; shamanic abilities will open; multi-dimensional magic; healer, leader, way shower energy when used for spiritual growth.  Abuse would be for using this power for control or negative purposes; must find a powerful balance.
