“The Place the Dog Ran”
THE TRECENA OF WIND/IK: TRUTH OF THE CREATOR’S WORD
MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
9 Dog/OC, Cherokee, Wolf/KANA’TI, Destiny Kin 230, Position 10
July 21, 2024, 07/21/2024; Last Round: November 4, 2023, 11/04/2023
Greetings Beloved Kin,
Dog/OC holds Position 10, the symbol of the Higher One. The Creator’s Love is loyal beyond Death, and serves as our Faithful Companion on our journey back to the Stars. The Milky Way is called “the place where the Dog Ran.”
On Peak Tone 9, we’re guided by a Power of Divine Trinity time 3. The Intention is Patience to see the Big Picture. There is said to be suffering to bear if we fail to take this step. 9 is the symbol of a Creation that is “finished.” When we invest our Heart in the work, we always step back to see it “through the eyes of the Beholder.” We don’t look back, when we don’t want to face the Truth.
All dogs are domesticated wolves, companionship and guidance. Wolves are a connecting link between the worlds; ones who inspire loyalty, diplomacy and sense of humor with unlimited potential. ~Cherokee Description
Unconditional Love is the Path back to the Realm of Spirit. The Dog leaves the scent of the trail to “gather souls to heaven.” Only the Words of the Highest One can bring us to our knees. The Dog’s testimony is a living demonstration of Love. Holding the Element of Wind, the Power of the Word is magnified to express the Truth that changes our mind.
9 Dog/OC completes a Covenant of Unconditional Love. Sometimes Dog/OC is fun-loving energy. Sometimes, Dog/OC presents a challenge, “can you even love this?”
Dog: Loyalty and faithfulness that survives beyond death. This was the first day of creation energy in this 4th world, sets the energy for love, loyalty and faithfulness on the 5200 year cycle.
Unconditional Love was the Divine Inspiration for the Creation. The Wind/IK trecena is raising our Consciousness of the Creator’s Voice. The Creator speaks as Divine Inspiration, an ordered experience of Vibrations, Signs and Symbols that engage all our senses.
Wind/IK is the Darkness that followed the Light of MULUC, the Call to make an Offering of our Life. When we accept the suffering of Being Human for a Divine Cause, the Creator will share a Reason for our Heart to carry on. 9 Dog/OC can offer a reason that’s easy to Understand. The Golden Rule is enforced by the Universal Law of Cause and Effect.
Dog/OC and Monkey/CHUEN share the top of the pyramid in Positions 10 and 11. They share two perspectives as the Creator’s Highest Purpose. Wisdom requires that we track our steps, thoughts, and feelings. CHUEN is the genius of Consciousness that can clearly see the Beauty of Love. The Monkey shares a sense of Humor. When we are Healed, we’ll laugh at our Self and call every step a success.
We are being reconnected through the Haab Year 13 Earth/CABAN to the Living Paradise of Love in Mother Nature. Photons of positive energy have been raining down on Earth at the Peak of the Sun’s Maximum in this 25th recorded 11 year cycle.
The Salmon run is an Offering of Life that ends in death for the New Generation that will be born on Higher Ground. A New Life can go with the flow downstream. The Salmon is a symbol of Major Life Change. They are transformed from a freshwater to a saltwater fish in their return to the Ocean.
By the Numbers, 9 Dog/OC and 10 Monkey/CHUEN are Holy Days we share in Common. We all have our own Holy Days, dates forever written in the Story of our Life. Every Day is Holy when we Remember.
9 Dog/OC completes the Wisdom of Love. The “magic” of creating our Reality is to Count our Blessing for “the work” that is finished. On 9 Dog/OC the view from Above is our personal recognition of the Beauty in every detail of form or function. The Only One who could have inspired us to such an end is the Highest One who led us to every next step from the beginning.
Tone 9 also reminds us that there’s a Time to Stop. Today is the Full Thunder Moon. The Creator’s Voice can speak the Truth that we can hear, feel and see as clearly as Thunder and Lightning.
love, in lak’ech, i am another you

THE JAGUAR’S MAGIC OF GRATITUDE:
I’m grateful that God always knows the conditions of our heart, even when we’re lost in our head.
A RITUAL AND SACRED CEREMONY OF GRATITUDE: JOURNEY BEGINNING JULY 5, 2024, 6 JAGUAR/IX
This is a good time to re-dedicate our self to a purpose of counting our blessings every day until the next Jaguar/IX.
July 25, 2024 is 13 Jaguar/IX, the symbol of an Answer to a Prayer of Spirit.
We can reflect on our Highest Hopes and Dreams, and Give thanks for the Day that is the story of the end. We can count our blessings 3 times, morning, noon, and night, and apply the Truth of Yesterday, Today, to Create Tomorrow.
Another Synchronicity: July 25, 2024, 13 Jaguar/IX, is the Feast Day for “Saint James the Great” by Western Christian traditions. James was a demonstration of overcoming afflictions.

The page also offers a link to resources for your own practice of counting the days to conceive your own discernment of the Meaning of Time.
4TH SEASON: 1 Wisdom/CIB begins the 4th Season of the Tzolk’in – VOLUME 2: Tzolk’in Seasons 3 and 4 (PUBLISHED SEPTEMBER 20, 2020)
NOTE: You can also look at dates from a different direction. Use the Kin Calculator offered on the Daykeeper’s Resource Page for a date six years before or after. If you are just starting to count the days and don’t have a journal from the last round, when something major happens in your life you can look to see if there was a major event on that same Mayan date before.
9 Dog/OC (Cherokee, Wolf/KANA’TI) – Day 9 of 13 of the 1 Wind/IK trecena
Descriptions by Ian Xel Lungold (12 Sun/AHAU), wisdom and Tzolk’in calculator preserved on MayanMajix.com
Galactic Tone 9: Patience. The energy of Nine is one of the getting a better perspective of the bigger picture. With the energy of Nine plans or patterns begin to come to completion. Nine requires patience and perseverance that is found in the bigger picture, otherwise there is great suffering from the lack of insight. The completion of cycles of action is all-important to Nine.
Dog/OC: Courageous, loyal and warm-hearted, very alert and valiant, people born of Dog are respected for their sense of justice and their protection. People born of the sun sign Dog are very sensual and know how to enjoy life. Playfulness and a good understanding of the basic human nature lead to prosperity for Dog. Dogs are good team players who love to travel and have a keen sense of their position in society. Dogs are ambitious and will take opportunities when they offer themselves, including infidelities. Dog persons share the nature of coyotes, spies, wolves and lawyers.
A GOOD DAY TO: Enjoy family and friends.
Cherokee, Wolf/KANA’TI: Wolf is symbolized by Sirius (Dog star) and Antares, one or the other always visible but never at the same time. Wolf is our brother, shares our very roots. All dogs are domesticated wolves, companionship and guidance. Wolves are a connecting link between the worlds; ones who inspire loyalty, diplomacy and sense of humor with unlimited potential. Wolf is the Day Sign of teachers, healers, pathfinders and transformers; sharp as obsidian, gentle as a lamb. OC-Totem –Dog: Loyalty and faithfulness that survives beyond death. This was the first day of creation energy in this 4th world, sets the energy for love, loyalty and faithfulness on the 5200 year cycle. Heart chakra energy is involved so that we can move to the state of “unconditional love” with compassion. All sexual desire issues that are not in harmony will surface to be cleared.
