A SOLAR SAIL IS CIRCLING EARTH: Last week, NASA unfurled a solar sail in Earth orbit–the Advanced Composite Solar Sail System (ACS3). It is wowing sky watchers with flashes as bright as the brightest stars. On Sept. 5th, Canadian satellite tracker Kevin Fetter photographed the sail passing almost directly in front of Vega: (Spaceweather.com offers a video of the event.)

“It got bright for a short time as it was passing by the star,” says Fetter. “Briefly it was just as bright as Vega, the 5th brightest star in the night sky.”

NASA launched ACS3 in April 2024, but didn’t deploy it until last week. With its lightweight reflective sail fully extended on Aug. 29th, it is now about half the size of of a tennis court. Solar sails employ the pressure of sunlight for propulsion, eliminating the need for conventional rocket propellant.

Not everyone will see it shining as brightly as Fetter did. The sail is currently tumbling, so it presents variable reflections to different observers. It was dimmer but still visible on Sept. 3rd when Bryan Murahashi saw it cut through the star fields of Cygnus:

“I took this picture from San Jose, California, proving it can be seen even from urban areas,” he says.

The tumbling is actually a feature, not a bug. NASA deliberately unfurled the sail without attitude control. Mission controllers want to learn how a slowly tumbling sail behaves. Later, they will turn on attitude control for further testing.

WHAT’S HAPPENING ON THE FARSIDE OF THE SUN? A magnificent halo CME billowed away from the farside of the sun yesterday, the second time this week this has happened. A hidden sunspot group transiting the farside must be crackling with activity. If it were facing Earth, we would now be bracing for geomagnetic storms.

The Creator uses Human’s hand to carry out his work, regardless of their intention and purpose. The Creator is the ultimate author of movement on Earth. CABAN represents a Clarion Call from the One Above to Ones Below.

I believe it was the first night of a Sun/Moon Dance in 2002 that a Black Jaguar/Panther entered the dance circle in the middle of the night from the Southeast, circled the central dance pole, and exited through the Northwest. Dancers were sleeping, except for one who lay still in the NW as it passed by her feet. Others who witnessed it were the firekeepers who tended the fire through the night.

Yesterday, I happened to see this video of a man who brought water to a little parched bird in the middle of the desert. Surely, the bird recognized it as a Miracle. We can choose to be a Hand of God by intention with every offering of loving kindness we share on Earth. Gods eye sees us, as surely as it “sees the sparrow.” He was in the perfect time and place. Earth/Caban: Earth/Caban: Keeper of the garden of Earth. Profound synchronistic connections to Earth’s natural cycles and energies provide power of creations and memories of ancient wisdom. Earth persons help dispel bad intentions, habits and ideas. This makes them very good counselors and masters of all arts. Studious and intelligent, Earth persons endeavor to bring a flow of natural order to all aspects of life. Being connected to the dynamic forces of nature, Earth persons need much liberty to facilitate their expression of migration or the sending of long distance communications such as the whales, elephants, birds and many other creatures.
