The Truth Within
Knowing the Truth in the world is an impossibility, when we only exist as a cast of characters. Home alone is the place I know everything that’s real, aside from an outside characterization that can’t see a dream behind closed doors. Time for waiting is good for the Truth to sink in – apart from everything in the world, it is well with my soul.
Every Sacred Ceremony carried out by Human Beings is an exercise of “blood, sweat, and tears.” We reach for something that WE can’t make happen. The Time we call for a Sacred Purpose will always have a Divine Effect.
Peace of Mind is the foundation for Happiness. That’s the easiest way to learn “the other.”

Greetings Kin,
Tone 4 raises an Intention of Stability. In the 4th Hour of the Light, the Maya surveyed the field of corn to measure the work at hand. Tone 4 is related to the cube, an area defined by its borders and parameters. For a Harvest of Higher Consciousness, we choose the body of thought that will support the Dream of Harmony and Equity.
Tone 4 reflects the Pillars of Faith that can stand in all 4 directions, when we begin the journey with a roadmap to the end. We can choose the “rules of our game” as the Divine Thoughts we will turn to for circumstances that present themselves from each direction. (East=Divine Inspiration… we can PLAN to follow the thought to receive more than our first impression. South=Relationships on Earth… we can LISTEN to really hear what’s going on around us. West=Unknown Future… we can face the Unknown, remembering how anything is still possible. North=Wisdom… we can Remember to Forgive our Self as we are reaching for something we haven’t learned yet by our own experience.)
We may have tried before, but we haven’t tried since we Ascended the last Tzolk’in round. When we employ the Sense to LOOK AROUND, we’ll know we hold enough Divine Thoughts to maintain an orbit.
Earth/CABAN represents Mother Earth as a “body in perpetual motion.” Mother Earth is defined by her orbit. To know her, she must be seen as she sways through the Seasons. It takes an entire orbit to know her whole story. Through the witness of Mother Earth’s movement and Her Time, the Maya conceived the Human gestation period as Our Orbit of completion. The Maya attribute everything known to Human Beings is learned from Mother Earth. CABAN represents the Mother’s Perpetual Movement, creating Life and Time.
Earth is a Divine Mother with a duty to raise us up. She demonstrates the way to create the “Time of our Life.” There are 3 symbols in the glyph that guide the way for Discernment and Divine Wisdom. When we employ all 3 faculties of thought, we will always arrive at the Highest Answer. The 1st thought is the straight line – human’s linear thoughts of “objective consciousness,” our 1st impression of “what is.” That leads to the wavy line, Human’s imagination. We THINK we know what “it is” and imagine “what it means.”
That’s as far as Human’s Sense of Reason goes, until we Consciously apply the Truth of a Divine Provision. The circles that rise are Divine Thoughts, wholly apart from Human “sense” – Truth beyond our Imagination. Between the wavy line and the rising circles is the Time and Place for a Leap of Faith. If we THINK ABOUT IT, it’s ALWAYS WISE to ASSUME the Truth, “We DON’T KNOW IT ALL.”
The Aztec Day Sign is the Ollin, that simply means Movement. The Ollin is the symbol at the center of the Stone calendar. Ollin marks 20 Divine Places in Time… Times to Move. We can ALWAYS know more with Time and Experience. To create NEW Time and NEW experiences, we HAVE to keep moving on. With every Truth we claim, we’ll need to lean a little the OTHER way to hold the Balanced perspective.

Greetings Kin,
Tone 4 introduces the Intention of Stability. On Tone 3 we’ve made a decision to Move on an Intention. The next inherent thought of Creation is to size up the task. We measure the boundaries and parameters to define the “rules of the game.” The stability of a Spiritual Intention will rely on the direction of our thoughts.
The trecena of Jaguar/IX is our 1st Human journey on Earth, intending to walk in the Truth of Higher Power Above. The prevailing guidance shared by the Jaguar is the “earth magic” of Gratitude. Wisdom/CIB reminded us to Use our Time to make Wise Choices, and to Remember that Forgiveness is the Key to the Kingdom.
Shape-shifting into the Jaguar, we can look down at each step to be Grateful for where we are, and Know our Heart is following a Higher Path Above that we WILL See with 20/20 vision when we have reached the end. The shaman is a Spiritual Warrior that intends to carry it’s Love and Gratitude to the End. IX holds the Heart of Compassionate Love and the Consciousness for Divine Discernment. We will follow a path that is totally invisible to the eyes of Human Beings, and Invest ALL our Heart in a Path we can FEEL is Seen by the Creator. Every Conscious step we take will leave its footprints of Light.
Earth/CABAN represents the Consciousness of Knowing our Oneness with the Whole Creation of Mother Earth. IX is devoted in its Gratitude to the Mother, the source of everything Human knows from the micro to the macro. Earth’s distinguishing Beauty is Movement and Life. Movement creates Time and a story of Life from a beginning to an end. The life of all things is defined by a Divine Design. A Human Seed will be what it is intended to be.
The glyph illustrates a way we are Designed to Move and to Conceive the Truth that’s REAL. To survey the Landscape of our Divine Mission we have to Know Thyself and what we will be inclined to do as a Human Being. To build a foundation we’ll conceive a strategy for all 4 directions of our Life. How will we approach the South, to uphold the Intention of Right Relationship? How will we face the West, the darkness of the Unknown? In the North, what will be the Most Important Wisdom to Remember? And from the Light in the East, how will we Know a Divine Discernment of Truth from our own “wishful thinking” influenced by our ego?
The symbols on the glyph illustrate 3 Human faculties of thought through which to make a Discernment of Divine Truth. We will be Divinely Moved by the Truth of our Spirit. The straight line represents the linear thoughts of Human reason. The wavy line is Imagination. The 3rd symbol of floating circles is the Divine Thought, the question of Divine Possibilities. To move forward in the Truth of Divine Wisdom, we need to use all 3 faculties of thought. 1st we see what the situation looks like from Human’s perspective. 2nd, we imagine what our creation could be by what we can do. The 3rd question is the Divine One, “What is Divinely possible?”
Today when we ask those questions, our Human Mind is prepared to share a Divine Truth of Spirit. We can See the Truth of our “I Am” as a Consciousness of Spirit. Like the imprint of Divine Identity, we Know who we are and what we are Divinely Destined to Become. We realize the Truth of our own Divine Justice, for a Choice we made for the Highest Meaning and Purpose. We Know the Future within our Grasp, and now it is only a matter of Movement and Time. CABAN is a Time and Place of Divine Consciousness when we Claim a Divine Truth of Who we are, and we are compelled, like a sounding alarm, to Move and to Live with ALL our Heart.

Tone 4 holds the Intention of Stability. The Truth we can stand on lies in the 4 directions of Mother Earth. Tone 4 is compared to the cube that establishes dimension by its parameters and boundaries. The Intention of 4 is to establish the “rules of the game.”
In the 4th Hour of Light, we prepare for Creation. Thoughts are turned to the task at hand to conceive a strategy. By the 4th Hour of Light, the Maya completed their journey to their fields of Corn. They discovered the calendar in Human by the Intentions they shared in common in the same Hour each day. In the same Hour of the day they surveyed the Garden to discern the job at hand.
Our Garden is our Body of Human Consciousness that will Grow the Higher Consciousness of a New Seed of Being. Tone 4 establishes a foundation of thought that will guide us to Remember to Discern the Wisdom of Truth.
Earth/CABAN is the Essence of Mother Earth as the Source of all Human Wisdom. EVERYTHING Human knows we learned from the Mother. She holds the Truth of a Divine Design from the micro to the macro. From the Truth of One thing, we can discern the Truth of many other things.
The K’iche Maya essence of CABAN is called N’oj (n oh). The 3 symbols on the glyph are a straight line, a wavy line and ascending circles of Divine Thoughts. Together they reflect a Divine Trinity of Consciousness that consolidates Human’s linear intelligence, our unbridled Imagination, and the Divine Thoughts that lead us to the Gift of Comprehension. N’oj is the Sense of Knowing our Self and who we are by Divine Design. The task at hand is to be Moved by the Truth of our Divine Identity.
The Aztec Ollin (all in) simply means movement. The symbol lies in the center of the Mayan calendar marking 20 Divine Movements of Time. Like the 20 archetypes that are the all-in-one Consciousness of a Divine Creator, our Consciousness is moved to a Higher Plane as we move through the 20 perspectives of Divinity. Days led by Ollin offer the Gift of Identity Consciousness – days said to offer the Truth of what we are becoming. Ollin encourages us to keep moving, like Earth’s perpetual movement. They call Ollin a lucky day for the “active principle” and an unlucky day for the “passive principle.”
Mother Earth maintains her Balance and Creates Time through her Movement. The ways she moves is guided by the Element of Fire in her Heart. CABAN guides us to Move Now and Always with All our Heart and Mind.

Tone 4 brings the energy to stabilize our climb of new Spiritual Growth. Tone 4 sets the rules, orientation and parameters, like the rules of a game. Tone 4 offers the foundation from which we can establish a course of movement.
Earth/CABAN is the Day Sign of Movement. As a symbol of Mother Earth our awareness is drawn to her Balance maintained through a Rhythm and Flow of perpetual movement.
The Jaguar/IX trecena is guiding us to follow a direction led by Spirit, relying on Truth and Wisdom we can Know by a Divine Discernment. Jaguar/IX remember that Mother Earth is the source of every blessing. Everything we need to know we can learn through Mother Earth.
Mother Earth is a dynamic illustration of The Creation, everything that exists in the Above and the Below. Everything in the world we would hope to discover is illustrated by Her. What we can’t see in the macro, we can discover in the micro. If we look deep enough or high enough, we’ll always discover a foundational Truth of Wisdom.
