SPACEWEATHER: CME Targets Venus and the Parker Probe

A Breath from the Heart of Sky

SPACEWEATHER.COM NEWS: 10/21/2024

NASA’s Parker Probe

CME TARGETS VENUS AND THE PARKER PROBE: The sun just hurled a CME straight toward Venus. According to a NASA model (above), it struck the planet during the early hours of Oct. 21st and, at the same time, engulfed NASA’s Parker Solar Probe. Why are the two so close together? The spacecraft is plunging toward Venus for a flyby on Nov. 6th that will bend its orbit toward the sun for a record-breaking close approach on Christmas Eve. Full story.

What is Parker Solar Probe?

  • A scientific mission to unlock the mysteries of the Sun’s corona and solar wind
  • A spacecraft that uses breakthrough technology and autonomy to endure heat and radiation like no other mission
  • A unique solar observatory that will orbit within 4 million miles of our star’s surface to directly study the formation of the solar wind
  • A mission named for Dr. Eugene Parker, the scientist who theorized the existence of the solar wind

COMET TSUCHINSHAN-ATLAS FROM THE SOUTHERN HEMISPHERE: Astronomers in the northern hemisphere have been enjoying Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS since it emerged from the sun’s glare a week ago. Observers in the southern hemisphere are getting their first looks now–and the view is out of this world:

“While people in the Northern Hemisphere currently enjoy a better view of this comet, I succeeded in photographing it right here in the rural landscapes of Argentina,” says Eduardo Schaberger Poupeau. “On Oct. 19th, a timeworn windmill stood silhouetted against the sky as night began to fall. Above it, Comet Tsuchinshan/ATLAS—a fleeting visitor that may never return—and the bright planet Venus shared the horizon. Each element came together in a moment that connected the earthly with the infinite universe, where the ephemeral meets the eternal.”

Observing update: Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS has faded in brightness since it first appeared as a evening object last week. Currently, the head of the comet is as bright as a 4th magnitude star–about 6 times dimmer than before. This means it is difficult to see with the unaided eye. It’s still a fairly easy target for binoculars, though, and even ordinary smartphone cameras are capable of revealing the comet’s long tail. Be sure to use “Night Mode”!

Planets Next to the Moon

Moon and Jupiter in the zenith position, taken by Debra Malmos 5:00AM CT from Coffeyville, KS

I couldn’t find Night Mode on my iphone camera, but with some adjustments to brightness, this is my best attempt at astro-photography so far. 🙂 The Moon and Jupiter were shining brightly directly overhead. I caught it just in time – 4:05AM EDT/5:05AM CDT. I’m  glad I looked to see it.

Mayan  Time

10 Wind/IK is a manifestation of the Creator’s Breath of Life and Breath of Spirit. The Time holds the purpose for communications of all kinds. IK is the Creator’s Voice, and another Synchronicity of Time that draws our attention to the Winds shared from the Creator’s Brightest Light. The challenge of manifestation is claiming the Truth as our reality. Nothing happens by accident in a dynamic creation of Divine Design. Time is ordered to direct our eyes to see and to offer an ear to hear the Divine Conversation, as Above, so Below.  Ask to see and Ask to hear. The Creator promised to answer every prayer. There’s no greater prayer than to ask to hear the Word of the Father to claim it’s the Truth.

Human’s closest approach is scheduled for Christmas Eve.

The Reed/BEN trecena shares the Guiding Light to “Home.” Orion’s Nebula is our home in the stars, sharing the Light of “shooting stars” as the Orionid Meteor Shower.

THE TRECENA OF REED/BEN: THE “HOME” WHERE WE BELONG

The Highlights, Peak Energies, and Times of Synchronicity for this trecena are included on the  13-Day Trecena Guide.

The “Tzolk’in Field Guide” is my gift to download that includes the Count of Days with the aspects for each Destiny Kin and highlights for a personal practice with each trecena. It’s designed as a companion for daily practice.

Visit the 13-Day Trecena Guide. to download a free copy. Volume 1 covers the first two seasons of the Tzolk’in, and Volume 2 covers the 3rd and 4th to the end of the Tzolk’in round.

1 Sun/AHAU is the 4th trecena of the first season of the Tzolk’in round, found in Volume 1. There’s something more to see when you discern the Truth for yourself.

10 Wind/IK (Cherokee, Whirlwind/AGALU’GA) – Day 10 of 13 of the  1 Reed/BEN trecena

Descriptions by Ian Xel Lungold (12 Sun/AHAU), wisdom and Tzolk’in FREE CALCULATOR preserved on MayanMajix.com

Galactic Tone 10: Manifestation. What were once intentions or ideas, hopes or fears become physically present with the energy of Ten. What is focused upon with attention and intention becomes real with Ten. Ten is a powerful energy that carries a great responsibility.

Wind/IK: Breath of Spirit, breath of life. Winds embody the power of dissemination and planting of good seeds or ideas. Dreamers and planners with powerful imaginations, Wind persons make great orators and they spread the word of spiritual inspiration as it is carried by the wind. Wind is the power behind the movement of natural cycles such as weather, erosion, and cultural change. As the wind, these persons are extremely changeable and adaptable. They may appear inconsistent or fickle to others. Wind can be destructive to self and others by putting on airs. When Winds strut and boast, expanding on facts and accomplishments, they are building the dark clouds of trouble that may become hurricanes.

A GOOD DAY TO: Send Communications of all kinds.

Cherokee, Whirlwind/AGALU’GA: Whirlwind’s symbol is a double spiral helix in rising smoke. Wind brings energy for an Inquiring mind, learning and wisdom. In Cherokee, the constellations are represented by 12 birds (dancers), the 13th bird is the Whirlwind, the lead dancer. This reflects the whirling of life. Wind is the breath of the Universe (matching the Mayan symbol) channel of communication and carries the Sacred Smoke to the Great Spirit (Source- Hunab Ku in Mayan); matches the pulse of the breath of the Cosmos.

The “13th Bird” is the One Holy Spirit that resides in every Human heart, set Free when we surrender to the One Above.

By providing the original text, I hope to offer a way to see what inspired my thoughts and by including all the aspects – allow for something more to inspire you. Mayan descriptions are those written by Ian Lungold. Cherokee descriptions came from multiple sources.
