An Explosion of Incoming Light
SPACEWEATHER.COM NEWS: 12/29/2024
STRONG SOLAR ACTIVITY RESUMES: The quiet has broken. Today sunspot 3936 produced a strong X1-class solar flare (0717 UT) along with a series of M-class flares peaking at M7 (1509 UT). As a result of these explosions, at least one CME is heading for Earth, and a NASA model (below) shows it reaching Earth late on Dec. 31st. Stay tuned for an updated forecast.

SUNGRAZING COMET ATLAS: Some writers are calling it “the brightest comet of 2025.” Maybe. If Comet ATLAS (C/2024 G3) survives its brush with the sun next month, it could become very bright indeed. At the moment, it is barely visible in the morning sky of the southern hemisphere. Nick James of the British Astronomical Association photographed the comet on Dec. 28th using a remote-controlled telescope in Chile:

Note: The lattice structure on the left is the edge of the observatory dome.
“This morning, the comet had a total magnitude of +6.0,” says James. It was very low in the sky, but “the T70 telescope at X07 in Chile is able to get down to the mountain ridge horizon, which is around 4 degrees.”
The fact that Comet ATLAS is hugging the morning horizon explains why so few astronomers are observing it. It is easily eclipsed by trees and hillsides.
Soon, however, the comet may attract much more attention. On Jan. 13th, it will be only 0.09 AU from the sun. Extreme heat could boost the comet’s brightness to magnitude -3.5, almost as bright as Venus; or, it could be completely destroyed. Either way, Comet ATLAS is about to put on a show. SOHO coronagraphs will pick up the comet starting Jan. 11th. Stay tuned!

Mayan Time
1 Monkey/CHUEN is a new cycle of the Incoming Light of Divine Inspiration for unlimited possibilities of creation. It would appear there are unlimited earth-facing opportunities for the Sun to deliver the Creator’s Light. Monkey/CHUEN shares the Power to Create a new life. The Sun shares its Light with the whole and changes us from the inside out.

TRECENA OF MONKEY/CHUEN: THE DAWN OF OUR CREATION
My gift for the Tzolk’in round is the “Tzolk’in Field Guide: A Daily Practice for Personal Discernment.” Volume 1 covers the first two seasons of the Tzolk’in round. The “Field Guide” is available to download from a link on the 13-day Trecena Guide Page.
Tracking your thoughts during one 13-day trecena, you will see the synchronicity of Time, and an ascension as the answer to a prayer you hold as an Intention of thought from the beginning.
The Monkey/CHUEN trecena is the beginning of Season 3, found in Volume 2.
NOTE: If you see repeating numbers, SacredScribes is a resource to check the meaning of Angel Numbers.
1 Monkey/CHUEN (Cherokee, Raccoon/KVH’LI) – Day 1 of 13, the 1 Monkey/CHUEN trecena of Creation

CORE DAYS: The 7th Uinal of the Tzolk’in represent the center column of 20-days, which carry the Intention of Balancing. In the Center we are returned to Unity with the whole as our sense of duality comes into balance. The Maya believed this to be the axis mundi – the center of the world that connects Heaven and Earth, where the four directions meet; where communication from lower realms may ascend to higher ones and blessings from higher realms may descend to lower ones and be disseminated to all. The Core Days may be experienced as a time of personal mystery as we recreate ourselves in the image of the Highest One.
Galactic Tone 1: Unity. One is the beginning of all things, the first, the whole and the all in one. One’s are assertive and self-guided and give a good push to whatever project they are associated with. One persons work best when meeting a challenge. Do not expect One-persons to be attentive to details or to put the finishing touches on things.
Monkey/CHUEN: Monkey is known to the Maya as the Weaver or Weaver of Time. Monkey takes ideas as threads of vines and weaves them into the fabric of our reality. New patterns or inventions are also woven into our lives by Monkey. Amiable, intelligent, generous and a jack of all trades, Monkey’s innocent curiosity leads to artistic expression and constructive solutions. Many Monkeys become highly respected merchants or speakers. They love performing practical jokes and crave attention, so much so that they may over-act or play the fool to get the spotlight. Monkeys have a short attention span and find it difficult to stay with anything long enough to master it.
A GOOD DAY TO: Begin anything new in your life.
Cherokee, Raccoon/KVH’LI: Star Symbol: Algol, a star in Perseus. Restless energy yearning for long-lost love. Algol was named DEMON STAR or MISCHIEVOUS ONE by the Ancients because it winks and fades at times. Raccoons are full of friendly mischief, eager to swap kisses for candy; magnetic leaders, full of humor and gaiety. Favorite food is corn, the mainstay of the Cherokee. Very artistic while being the “masked bandit” who steals your heart.

By providing the original text, I hope to offer a way to see what inspired my thoughts and by including all the aspects – allow for something more to inspire you.
